I graduated from UIC in 2002 with a Bachelor's Degree in biology and earned my Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2006 from Southern Illinois University. I discovered my passion for dentistry while working as a dental assistant for two years.
Since dentistry is a constantly changing and advancing profession, I do my best to stay on top of what's new by investing in continuing education. I believe in preventative dentistry and educating patients on their dental health so they can choose the best option to restore their smiles.
Careful dental hygiene and periodic prophy are important tools in the prevention of periodontal disease. Commonly referred to as gum disease, periodontal disease is the number one cause of adult tooth loss in America and affects up to 75% of people at some point in their lifetimes.
Regular tooth cleaning and good dental hygiene, brushing and flossing help remove plaque which is the cause of tooth decay, cavities, caries, gingivitis and periodontitis. (Plaque is essentially a complex microbial community, with greater than 1010 bacteria per milligram.) If plaque is not removed and accumulates on the teeth and / or under the gum line, it can calcify (harden) and become calculus. Calculus always retains a layer of plaque on its surface.

Today was a first dental visit for my 4 year old daughter. I am so glad I decided to choose this doctor. Office is modern and extremely clean. Interaction with office staff is a pleasure for me and my daughter - they are super nice and very friendly. They do everything with full professionalism and passion for their work. Dr. Czechura is extremely calm and very friendly. She made this visit for my kid fun which will probably have very positive impact on future visits. After leaving the office my daughter wanted to go back - it was such a wonderful experience for her. I wish more offices would be like that.

I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Czechura and her staff. I was very anxious about the appointment and any procedure, but Dr. Czechura was very patient with me and spend a lot of time trying to calm me down, the staff was very helpful and kind and always available to help. Dr. Czechura is very professional, she takes the time to explain what needs to be done and provides valuable advice , It's not easy to find a good dentist Like Dr. Czechura. I highly recommend her and her staff for kids and adults.

I chose Dr. Czechura's office out of convenience because my previous dentist had an office in Chicago. A few months ago my husband and I had the cleaning done at Dr. Czechura's office, and it was not a bad experience, but it was not an extraordinary one also. At that time we decided to continue to receive our dental care from our previous dentist. Today to my surprise my husband received in the mail failed appointment charge. He was unaware that he had a visit scheduled and does not recall receiving any remainder call or email. It is the first time both of us experienced something like this. Almost always a doctor or dental offices either call, text or email reminders.

Best dentist In Chicagoland! She and her staff are extremely well organized and creates a very family friendly home like environment. I am always treated either a great big smile by the receptionist and Dr. Czechura is by far the most caring, down to earth and talented dentist I have ever met. Have been coming here for a few years now and always enjoy my experience.Never wait more then 5 minutes. Plenty of parking and adequate waiting room which is very clean. Will definately be coming back!

Normally hate going to the dentist... but, the staff here, location, and service provided is beyond anything I could expect. I would recommend anyone to come here and receive everything from a routine cleaning to having a few fillings refilled.

I went in for a cleaning and X-rays. Maggie the dental hygienist was very professional, thorough and detailed in her work. The decor is chic and modern. Definitely one of the best dental experiences I have had in recent times.
