R. Brad Beasley, D.M.D. is the founder of Beasley Familyand ImplantDentistry. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the University of Alabama School of Dentistry. He received his doctorate in 1996 and has been practicing in Athens ever since. Dr. Beasley'sprimary emphasis is on cosmetic,laser, sedation and implant dentistry. Dr. Beasley has a talent for transforming smiles that places him at the forefront of modern dentistry. In 2000, he built a state-of-the-art facility in Athens, Alabama providing services to patients in Huntsville, Madison,Decatur, and South Tennessee featuring the latest dental technologies and techniques in a relaxedenvironment.

Dr. Beasley is the kind of dentist who listens to his patients. He wants to make sure he understands their concerns and desires. We could tell you how warm, caring, gentle, and a good listener he is, but decided to let a couple of our patients do the talking.

Since graduating from dental school, Dr. Beasley has completed multiple cosmetic dentistry, smile design, and occlusion courses using porcelain veneers at the prestigious Pacific Aesthetic Continuum (PAC-Live) in San Francisco. He has also attended numerous courses and training for occlusal and tempro-mandibular joint dis-function at the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study in St. Petersburg, Florida. In addition, Dr. Beasley is also licensed by the State of Alabama to perform oral sedation on dental patients. His post-graduate education includes both pediatric and adult oral sedation training. His award winning smile makeovers have appeared in national dental publications. Dr. Beasley has been honored by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry with a total of 4 gold, 5 silver, and 2 bronze medals for demonstrating outstanding cosmetic dentistry at the 2004, 2005, and 2006 Annual Smile Gallery Competitions held in locations such as Vancouver, British Columbia, Nashville, and San Diego. Dr. Beasley's practice additionally focuses on the early screening, detection, and treatment of periodontal disease using non-surgical, surgical, and laser techniques.

In his free time, Dr. Beasley enjoys being with his wife Monica and their daughters, Ashley and Addison. His hobbies include computing, electronics, and photography, which he incorporates into many aspects of his dental practice. He also continues to further his knowledge of dentistry by attending frequent continuing education courses emphasizing cosmetic, laser, sedation and implant dentistry.

Monica has been our Office Manager since April 2003. She has a background in accounting and previously owned her own business. Monica directs all practice marketing, accounts payable, payroll, and other additional support tasks. She also keeps the office team happy and organized. Monica is married and has two daughters, Ashley and Addison, and two ragdoll cats named Saban and Sophie. When not at the office, Monica enjoys trips to the beach, Alabama football, shopping, and spending time with her family.

Michelle became a part of our team in August of 2006 after receiving her dental assistant certificate from Calhoun Community College. Michelle is now a Registered Dental Hygienist and a licensed massage therapist. She received her dental hygiene (RDH) license from UAB and she completed the massage therapy program at Massage Therapy Institute. She focuses her continuing education on the treatment of TMJ/TMD and head & neck pain. Michelle has a special interest in working with children and patients with dental phobia/ anxiety. Michelles goal is to educate each patient on the importance of their dental health while creating a great dental experience. When not working, Michelle enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her husband and 2 children.

Whitney has been with our office since 2008. She graduated from Calhoun Community College with an Associates Degree in Applied Science through the dental assisting program. Whitney is also a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH). She received her hygiene license from UAB in July of 2012. Her calm demeanor helps keep patients at ease. Whitney's main objective is caring for each patient's individual dental needs. When not working, Whitney enjoys shopping, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with her husband, daughter, family, and friends.

Kimberle has practiced dental hygiene for 20 plus years, and has been with our office for a total of 12 years. She mainly works as our Hygiene Coordinator in the front office but also still practices hygiene. Kimberles passion for dentistry and outgoing personality are a great asset to our team. Kim loves animals, trips to the beach, and Alabama football, ROLL TIDE. When not at the office, Kim loves spending time with her two daughters and her husband.

Myleigh is Dr. Beasley's lead dental assistant. She became a part of our team in December of 2014, after receiving her dental assistant certificate. She has received her Phlebotomy certification from Calhoun Community College in January 2019. She leads the treatment team by her great example. She has experience in Invisalign, Zoom whitening, Restorative, Cosmetic, Sedation, Implant and Oral Surgery. She makes sure her patients are comfortable in her care and leave with a smile. She spends her free time with her husband Chris, and their 3 daughters.

Tamsen started with us part-time in March 2017 as our Collections Manager. She also assists the front office with various task throughout the day and she helps patients with any questions regarding their accounts. She brings to us 20+ years of customer service and clerical experience. Tamsen is married with 2 children. Outside of work she enjoys time spent with her family, traveling, working in her yard, and shopping.
