Dr. Daniel Bearley is a general dentist from central Pennsylvania. He grew up in a small rural town 30 miles from State College, where Penn State University is located. His love for the Nittany Lions kept him close to home as he attended Penn State University, graduating in 1997.
After working nine years as a chemical engineer, Dr. Bearley decided he wanted a profession that offered more interpersonal relationships as well as a better work/life balance. For his second career, Dr. Bearley attended the University of Minnesota, where he graduated in 2012 with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree.
Dr. Bearley and his family moved back east, settling in the Charlottesville, Virginia area. He has owned his family dental practice since 2014. Starting in 2018, Dr. Bearley has been transforming his practice, moving toward his mission, to create positive, authentic and engaging relationships focused in comprehensive dentistry.
Dr. Bearleys love for learning led him to the Pankey Institute in 2018. It is there that he has continued his journey in dental education. Dr. Bearley has embraced the Pankey philosophy of engineering restorations and designing treatment solutions to minimize the forces that occur in the joints, muscles, teeth and gums.
On a personal note, Dr. Bearley has a wife and four school aged children. They enjoy traveling, tennis, golf and skiing. When he is not chasing his kids around, he is chasing Shadow, their Siberian husky.
I have been in the dental field for 13 years. This is my passion as I not only meet you as a patient, but you become my friend and dental family. My goal here at Bearley Dental is for you to have an excellent experience and great oral health. I continue my education and learning with CE classes to help keep your experience and oral health excellent. In my time outside of work, Im with my husband and 2 beautiful daughters I was blessed with having fun and spending family time together

I love Dr Bearley and his staff! They take their time and answer all my questions. And they do a really good job. I just had two fillings done and I can't even tell they are there. Excellent quality and excellent customer service.

This was hands down the best experience I've ever had at the dentist. It was comprehensive and informative -- Dr. Bearley helps you to really understand what's going on with your dental health. This was my initial visit and I didn't just feel like another patient. He took the time to get to know me as a person and my family dental health history. I left feeling more empowered and in control of my dental periodontal health. I just moved to town in July this year and feel lucky I found such a good dentist on the first try! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a new dentist!
