Dr. Ara Carmody was raised in Mukilteo, Wa where she graduated from Kamiak High School. She continued her education at the University of Washington where she double majored in Biology Physiology and Near Eastern Studies. Upon graduating, she was accepted into the University of Washington School of Dentistry where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery.
Prior to opening Beardslee Dental in Bothell in 2019, Dr. Carmody was in private practice for over seven years. She truly valued that time as she spent those years cultivating her skills and the principles for which she wants Beardslee Dental to represent.
Dr. Carmody enjoys developing meaningful relationships with patients and those relationships are one of her favorite parts of dentistry. She will always work hard to earn your trust and deliver honest, quality dental care. Dr. Carmodys love of growth in her profession has resulted in hundreds of continuing education hours and collaborations with dental specialists. She understands the importance of staying current in the ever changing field of dentistry.
Outside the office, Dr Carmodys world revolves around her two toddlers. Youll find her at local parks, library story times, and chauffeuring her daughters to their many social events. Dr. Carmody and her husband, also a dentist, enjoy attending Husky games and slowly adding another pin to their travel map!
