Dental insurance plans are designed to share in the cost of your dental care, not to completely pay for those costs. Your dental coverage is not determined by your dental needs but by the agreement negotiated by your employer with the insurer. If you have a personal individual dental plan, your benefits are based on your specific plan. We are not responsible for how your insurance company handles a claim or for the amount that they pay or do not pay on a claim.

Bryan Schiavoni was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and knew he wanted to be a dentist from the age of five. Dr. Schiavoni has been serving the patients of Bearable Dentistry since 2001. He attended the University of Southern California as an undergraduate and completed his dental degree at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, California. He is a member of the Idaho State Dental Association, the American Dental Association and the Intermountain Odontology Study Club. On his free time, Dr. Schiavoni enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 daughters, Isabella and Karson.
Matthew Sept is an Idaho native and received his bachelors degree from Idaho State University where he met and married his wife, Karen. Both he and his wife received their dental degrees from the University of Louisville. A Navy veteran, Dr. Sept completed advanced education in a general dentistry residency prior to serving on active duty in Italy. Dr. Sept and his wife have 2 children and enjoy year round outdoor activities including skiing, hiking and golf. Dr. Matthew Sept is a member of the American Dental Association and the Idaho State dental association. He joined Bearable Dentistry in 2011 and continues to be passionate about the practice of dentistry.
Dr. Markuson is an Idaho native and received his undergraduate degree (BS Biology) at Boise State University. He completed his dental training at The University of Louisville and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 2003. Dr. Markuson has been a resident of the Palouse for several years. He brings his years of experience in conservative, gentle dental care to Bearable Dentistry. Dr. Markuson is eager to meet new and established patients and provide the same level of care they are accustomed to receiving at our 40-year old practice.
The Bearable Dentistry dentists want their patients to enjoy healthy smiles for a lifetime. We believe that prevention is always better than treatment. Decay and disease prevention through good regular home care and regular dental cleanings and exams will help you maintain a healthy, beautiful smile. For that reason, we have assembled an experienced and dedicated team of dental hygienists. Our hygienists can help you identify areas of concern and make changes to your routine which will benefit your oral health.
Care Credit is a financing option which allows you to finance your dental investment over a period of time. You may select a 12-month interest free option, or a longer period of time with interest payable to Care Credit. Our front office staff will be happy to assist you in making these arrangements.

I always have great experiences at Bearable, where they make even a root canal... well... bearable! Everyone is always happy and smiling which is usually enough to make my day. Thanks to Dr. Sept, Dr. Markuson, and my hygenist, Amber for doing what they do so well. Highly recommend Bearable!

I now love going to the dentist since I started way back when Gerry Weitz was my dentist. I had to have drugs just to calm me down to get my teeth cleaned. But Dr. Sept has always been so kind and gentle whenever I go, I am relaxed it's been a good experience each and every time I have had an appt. Thank you Bearable Dentistry!

I've been a patient with Bearable Dentistry for almost 40 years, and have never had a bad experience there. The dentists have always been gentle, conscientious, and caring. I recently began to deal with osteonecrosis of the jawbone and its impacts on my teeth, and they have taken the time to explain things clearly and honestly to me, and to answer all my questions. As for more involved procedures and second-opinions, they have sent me to oral surgeons in Pullman for needed treatments. I trust them and feel lucky to have them as my dentistry.

Staff was so friendly and accommodating for my appointments. My dental hygienist was very efficient and the whole process of cleaning was painless. Dr. Sept was very thorough and listened to my concerns. Overall, I appreciate Bearable Dentistry with the whole staff being incredibly patient with their patients! Highly recommended!!

I was doubtful they could see me before the weekend when I called Friday morning with a toothache but they found a way to get me in and resolve my problem. Thank you Dr Schiavoni and staff at Bearable Dentistry!
