My husband had a pleasant experience at his appts at this dentistry. We booked a cleaning and the office was able to get him in fairly quick. We had to book a follow up appt and we didn't have to wait long for that appt either. They were able to handle our hectic schedule and fit us in. The wait to see the Dr wasn't long. Overall, it was a good experience and will continue to do business with them.

This place should be called un-bearable dentistry. I walked in for a 1:00 appointment today and have never been more uncomfortable. I was met at the desk by (i'm guessing) the primary doctor. I stated my name, appointment time and that I was a new patient. I was handed a clipboard of poorly copied papers, along with no conversation or even a greeting. I filled out the papers which took me about 20 minutes, then waited another 20 minutes to be attended to. After being taken into the exam room - small no windows -they took what felt like 20 x-rays of my mouth, in excessive, uncomfortable positions. I then sat in the exam room for 40 MINUTES until the starting of my cleaning. He proceeded to aggressively scrape my teeth to the point where I was in pain, catching and cutting my gums in the process. I kept tasting blood, but ignored it and pushed through. He then brushed my teeth, also aggressively, then went on to WIPE MY FACE with the bloody gauze. I sat up and looked on the table to see how much I bled, to see 10-15 blood filled gauze pads. This was one of the most disturbing experiences I've had and I cried in my car after. I've never been scared to go to the dentist, this might've changed my mind.

Excellent dentistry, only 2 staff so please be patient if the dental hygienist/ receptionist is not available the moment you walk in. The doctor is quite thorough and very accommodating.

After my dentist retired last year, I spent alot of time searching for a new one. The majority were not taking on new patients, so I was relieved when a co-worker told me that Bearable dentistry was. As I have a variety of dental issues that need to be taken care of, it was great news to hear that Bearable dentistry does it all! They got me right in, set up my treatment plan, and I am on the road to getting my "healthy smile" back. Dr. Traistaru, and his staff are professional, kind, and always make sure I am comfortable with each treatment I go through. I would highly recommend checking them out!

My daughter had an appointment today at Bearable dentistry. She is a Freshman at SUNY ONEONTA and arrived here on 1/23/21 , while flossing her filling came out. She doesn't know anyone here and not familiar with the town . As a mom I was nervous, bc I'm not there with her (we' re from Queens NY). The closest dentist that took my insurance was 50 miles away in Liberty NY. , so I had to find a dentist close by , and also had to come out of pocket. I've made many phone calls, to no availability. Every practice stated "their not taking new patients". Until I called Bearable!!! I spoke to Mr. Clay. Mr.Clay reassured me my daughter would be taken care of , and they would work around her schedule. He was right!!! My daughter stated "Dr.Traistaru was professional and GREAT! ". My daughter felt very comfortable and safe. ( price was reasonable, with no hidden fees). I thank Dr. Traistaur & Mr.Clay immensely!!! My daughter said she would recommend anyone on campus to BEARABLE DENTISTRY. THANKS AGAIN!!!

I highly recommend this dentist. The dentist is transparent and thorough and makes sure you are comfortable. He also has gotten me in same day for emergencies. They also have great hours for scheduled appointments! I have had some bad experiences at other dentists, especially with treatments neglected or that I didn't need. The care here is exceptional for kids and adults alike.

As a senior citizen I've been to many dentists and Dr. Traistaru is likely at the top or the top of them all. He does everything and by himself. I was concerned by his abilities to do all forms of dentistry that I previously had been sent out to specialists but he has done most of the specialties {implant, root canal, broken tooth repairs, surgery} on me and with a warm personality and complete competence. He is a great resource in our area.

I went to have my tooth extracted today and I got right in. Everyone was super nice and I didn't feel a thing! The dentist kept asking how I was doing. Overall it was a great experience and is a highly recommended place by me.

This is one of the best dentist's not only in the area but overall period. They have a very friendly staff and are extremely professional in all the work they do. The work done is absolutely amazing and the comfort level is extremely high throughout the visit. Never thought I would say this but I cannot wait to go back and get my teeth cleaned.

To understand why I gave Florin Traistaru a 5-star rating, you have to read my story. My upper 2nd molar began troubling me 8 months ago (December 2014). This tooth had a root canal over 20 years ago. Although not painful, it began feeling uncomfortable enough that I constantly pushed it around with my tongue and other teeth. I was living overseas at the time. In early April 2015 an abscess developed on the gum above the tooth. A local dentist in Kazakhstan "popped" the fluid-filled bulge and applied an anti-septic internally and said it will either resolve itself or will have to be extracted. She surmised that the root canal may not have been prefect, and that I had a persistent low-level infection that worsened when my immune system was down (as perhaps was the case during a bad sinus cold that coincided with initial symptoms). After two months and three visits, the weeping hole in my gum did not close and every few days, traces of blood and fluid would be left on cotton swaps. In July I was returning to the States, but first I had to spend a few weeks in Poland. While there I visited a team of two dentists and they said with 90% probability that the tooth (root) must be cracked, because the infection was not resolving after so long. They recommend immediate extraction. I almost gave permission for the extraction; however, holding out hope for the 10% chance (using their numbers) that the tooth was not cracked and that perhaps my dental hygiene was a partly to blame (I had a bout of gingivitis within the last two years), I asked whether antibiotics could make a difference. While they doubted it would matter, I was prescribed 7 days of 2 x 600mg Clindamycin. Within 48 hours the "leaking" reduced (not eliminated), but I continued to feel mild discomfort. I continued, habitually, "playing" with the tooth with my tongue and other teeth. Once in the States, I visited a dentist who x-rayed the tooth with a probe inserted into the hole and fistula. The x-ray showed the extent of the fistula. He recommended I see an endodontist, which brought me to Dr. Traistaru, who patiently listened to the history, examined the x-ray I brought along and conducted other simple tests. He said he didn't think the tooth was cracked, but instead thought the source of the problem was a misalignment of my bite, which through constant irritation caused an inflammatory response and infection. He adjusted the gold onlay to reduce pressure on the tooth. He said it should resolve within two weeks, and although it has only been 36 hours since I saw him I feel a significant difference. Why write this review before the two week is up? Because I believe he nailed it. In fairness to the Polish dentists, if it doesn't resolve, it is likely the result of a cracked root. Dr. Traistaru has said as much, also. Regardless of the ultimate outcome, Dr. Traistaru keeps his 5-stars for the method and approach he followed. Paul Kenul

The most relaxed, happy and professional dentist office around. Vickie is a wonderful hygienist. Great protocol for caring for people including blood pressure, cancer check and warm humane atmosphere.
