My goal is to provide patients with comfortable dentistry, giving each a worry-free experience and results that that look and feel great. I want my patients to leave the office feeling better than when they arrived, whether weve improved their smile, removed discomfort, or offered useful education and encouragement.
As a dentist, I enjoy the opportunity to work with people and see the improvement in their quality of life. Everyone has different needs and desires: I like helping each patient learn what is going on in their mouth, discussing the treatment options, and then deciding with my patient how we will proceed.
I have practiced dentistry for more than 15 years. One of the most exciting aspects of the profession, to me, is how ongoing research is constantly bettering the field. New techniques and technologies are developed, all with the potential to improve the care experience and results. It is essential for me to stay up to date on the latest advances, in order to provide the most efficient and effective care.
Throughout the year, I participate in continuing education through the Spear Study Club and the Seattle Study Club. I am also an active member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, and Weld County Dental Society. These groups offer a number of meetings, lectures, seminars, and publications that enable me to constantly increase my knowledge and the services I offer patients.
Much of my free time is spent with my family. We enjoy getting outside, seeing nature, and exploring the national parks. Closer to home, Im active in my church, love to watch movies, and am a voracious reader; in fact, I have a tendency to binge-read, so I have to set limits!
Each member of my team is people-oriented, caring, and skilled. They are a joy to be around, smiling and laughing a lot, which puts our patients at ease and reassures each that they are in a safe, welcoming, and friendly dental office. I could not be more proud of my team;they are professionalswho combine their passion for healthy smiles with patient-centered care.
Sally is new to the office in January of 2022 but has been in the dental field for 10 years! She is enthusiastic and dedicated to providing patients with excellent, personalized care and always gives 100% to all aspects of the practice. She enjoys patient interactions the most, as they are rewarding to her.
Denise has been with our Bear Tooth Dental team since December 2018. She started off as a Dental Assistant and has moved up front as a care coordinator. Denise enjoys connecting with patients and helping them with their goals and treatment needs.
When she was 17, Nikki saw a family member go through a traumatic experience at a dental office. Wanting others not to go through something similar, she chose to become an assistant. For the last 12 years, she has enjoyed giving gentle yet exceptional care. She enjoys the one-on-one experience with the patient, allowing her to understand what the patient wants so that she can personalize care just for them.
Michelle graduated from dental hygiene school in 1995 and has been loving what she does ever since. With her friendly personality, Michelle takes a warm, gentle approach to her patients' dental care. She strives to help patients with their dental needs while building relationships at the same time.

Dr. Pope is the first dentist to ever give me a numbing shot before the work without it causing pain. Solid work was done by him. Nikki did a great job doing the temp. I highly recommend this practice.

First appointment, had my teeth cleaned by Michelle. I was so pleased she was able to remove all of my stains. Second appointment went equally well. Dr. Pope was able to remove an ancient filling , fill the new cavity that had developed beneath it and put in a new filling. It's smooth and feels better than new.
