Dr. Liang was born and raised in Vero Beach, Florida. She grew up working at her parents Chinese restaurant since the age of 10, but discovered her passion for dentistry while shadowing her family dentist in high school. Dr. Liang went on to pursue her dream of creating beautiful smiles with a BS in Nutritional Sciences at University of Florida. While completing her undergraduate degree she volunteered as a dental assistant at Shands Hospital assisting dental students at the UF College of Dentistry.
Dr. Liang graduated Cum Laude 6 months early from University of Florida in Dec 2003 and relocated to Annapolis, MD to work as an Orthodontic Assistant. She was selected to attend the prestigious Tufts University School of Dental Medicine D2008 class located in Boston, MA in September 2004.
After graduating from Tufts Dental, Dr. Liang was commissioned as a Dental Officer for the US Navy. While stationed with the 1st Dental Battalion at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Dr. Liang completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency. She deployed to Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan with the 1st Medical Battalion for 7 months and provided combat dental services to NATO forces after her residency. After returning from deployment Dr. Liang was promoted to Clinic Director at Edson Range dental clinic at Camp Pendleton where she fulfilled her final 2 years of military commitment.
Dr. Liang served 4 years of active duty service with the US Navy and separated from the Navy in May 2012 to pursue a career in private practice. Dr. Liang enjoys hiking, paddleboarding, sailing, traveling, cooking and enjoying all that Southern California has to offer. She is an avid surfer, snowboarder and yoga enthusiast.
Catherines friends call her Cat and she is a native Californian. She has two grown children and a dog. Cat enjoys jogging, church and tennis. She has been a dental hygienist for thirty plus years and always knew that she wanted to be in the health field since she was a child. Cat loves talking to patients and really getting to know them. Her goals are to deliver excellent dental care and to inform patients on how their dental health correlates to their overall health.
Krisi is from right here in Mission Viejo and has been a dental hygienist for almost 20 years! Krisi loves meeting new people and building strong relationships. Krisi is married and has a daughter in high school.

We found this dental office via recommendations from people made on the Facebook group: Residents (and Friends) of Aliso Viejo, CA. We made our appointment and went to our first cleaning, exam and teeth whitening appointment! The front staff is super tentative and nice. Since we did not have insurance through our employers, Bear Dentistry offers their own. The plan looked reasonable and I love a good deal so I signed up our ohana. This was during COVID so I felt very comfortable and safe there. The place was not overbooked so we didn't feel like there was any social distancing concerns. After getting our teeth cleaned and X-rays done, Dr. Jenny met with us. She's super relatable and you can tell she really cares about her patients. Mahalo Bear Dentistry for a great first experience! Dr Liang is always so kind and knowledgeable and my family and I always appreciate her professionalism! Dr. Jenny and her staff are such an amazing team, they were all very kind and gave me the best treatment I've ever had. I had Veneers done by another dentist in the past but it wasn't the quality I expected. Bear Coast Dentistry took care of me from the start and had great communication before and after my appointment which I really appreciated. I will never use another dentist. This place is awesome and there are so many reasons why: I never am kept waiting. Dr. Jenny never rushes and gives great explanations. Catherine is an extremely gentle and thorough hygienist. Dawn and Gigi are also so helpful and friendly. The office is spic and span. I will never go elsewhere and I hope I never move.

Dr. Jenny and her staff are amazing!!! I have needed work on my teeth for a while and hesitated to go to a dentist because I've had bad experiences elsewhere. Dr. Jenny and her staff have been great and professional with an awesome personality. They explain everything thoroughly and their work is legit! They never suggest or try to sell me things that I don't need. They have a great plan if no insurance and it actually turns out to be a better deal than insurance. I drive far for my check ups and treatments but I will not go anywhere else. Plus their environment is so pretty and calming with the succulents.

Very bad experience. Tried to take out wisdom teeth, the dentist could not finish the operation. Took 4 hours, was told it would take 2. Dentist sent me away with the root of the tooth still in. Dentist did not prescribe antibiotics, which my (new) oral surgeon said was surprising considering the state of the tooth. Don't come here for anything more than a cleaning, I guess. Kinda surprised they have such high reviews. (I am not the kind of person that usually leaves negative reviews, if any)

I love Bear Coast Dentistry and highly recommend their services. The staff are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable! Dr. Liang was every bit a professional and more! She described what she was doing every step of the way and helped ease my anxiety during my dental procedure. After my filling was in place, she even offered to give a reversal shot to decrease the effects of the Novocaine. If you're looking for a dentist and have anxiety about procedures like I do, this is the place for you.

Dr. Jenny and her staff are wonderful. I have had regular cleanings, a root canal, was fitted for a crown, and got my teeth whitened By Dr. Jenny. Everyone is conscientious, patient, and knowledgeable. I found her office bright and clean, definitely a 5 star dentist office!
