We are not a large group practice. We are one doctor and a small staff, who will give you individualized attention and will see you as far more than just your insurance plan. We believe that it is a privilege to be your childs pediatric dentist and that we have an opportunity to make a real difference in your childrens lives.

Our philosophy at Bean Tree Pediatric Dentistry is to treat each child as we would our own. We are committed to family-centered care for infants, children, adolescents and special-needs patients. We know each patient and family unit is different, and we understand education and treatment must be unique to each. We do not believe in the one-size-fits-all model. We have chosen all members of our staff for their ability to work within this individualized approach to dentistry and to offer nonjudgmental care.

At Bean Tree Pediatric Dentistry, we are committed to lessening our impact on the environment. By minimizing waste, avoiding mercury andBisphenol A (BPA), recycling approved materials, using electronic charting and digital X-rays, and conserving water with advanced delivery systems, we are able to work toward our goal of being a green office.

Our goal is to provide a positive learning experience for each child and parent whom we meet. We work with you to identify any contributing factors whichmay lead to tooth decay. Communication with you and your child, oral hygiene education and nutritional counseling all play a part in our prevention-focused care.

With the exception of the humans who work here, our office is completely digital. For example: when you pay by credit card, your receipt is emailed to you. From our digital X-ray machines that emit less radiation than conventional X-rays, to the tablets used to sign forms, to our cloud-based computing system, we are the most technology savvy and eco-friendly pediatric dental office in Jacksonville.

If the team position(s) listed happen to bewhat you are looking for, and you feel that you have what it takes to become the next member of the BeanTeam, then use the application button below the available position to send us your credentials.

We select our BeanTeam candidates by using a very sophisticated algorithm with large numbers and equations and a quick game of Pin the Tail on the Donkey. If youre selected for an interview, please dress casually (but not too casually) and high five your interviewers when arriving.

Since our conception, we wanted to create a culture within Bean Tree Pediatric Dentistry to be far removed from the conventional dental office concept. A place which brought together friendly, talented, interesting people from a diversity of backgrounds, and where you could bring all of yourself to work.

We believe people are our greatest assets. Our philosophy is based on creating a family within our office and thats what we have done. Its why we designed the office to be like a home. We want our team members to feel like they are going home and being with family, and not a boring office. It may sound hokey, but its what makes our office so special.

When it comes to our benefits and perks, we have everything youd expect to find froma large company, like health insurance, retirement, etc. But we also offer more than the basic stuff. Our benefits are part of who we are, and theyre designed to take care of youkeep you healthy, whether physically, emotionally, financially or socially.

Our benefits and perks are here to make sure you and your family are taken care of and to help ease the stresses of life. Every member of the BeanTeam is just like family to us. Having a happy family makes for an awesome office environment.

I didn't get the chance to visit this office because they don't accept my insurances. However, I felt the need to leave a review because of the timely manner I got a response to my email & the additional information I received on a few dental offices that may accept my insurances. I've reach out to a few practices & had not received a response. That could be due to Covid & places not still open for business. However, thank yu so much Miss Bre for being helpful & I truly appreciated!

We Love Bean Tree Dentistry and Dr. Mason! She is so kind and responsive to my kids' specific needs. She takes her time to explain each and every procedure and helps the kids feel at ease. She gets to know them on a personal level. When my little boy who was into Star Wars needed a cap for one of his teeth, she gave him a "Star Wars Tooth" and he thought it was the greatest thing ever. I cannot recommend this office enough - they are knowledgeable, patient, and perfect for children's dental needs. I only wish they took adults as patients! :)

My two children have been Dr. Mason's patients since they were less than a year old and we've had great experiences at every visit--so much so that we stayed even though they don't take our insurance. Now that they are getting a bit older, we've begun considering future costs and possibly switching to an in-network pediatric dentist. I had my son's records sent to another practice several months ago just in case, but ultimately we decided we would stay with Bean Tree because we loved them so much. A few weeks before his upcoming cleaning appointment, I received a call that the records being sent out terminated him as a patient and, since they weren't currently taking "new patients," his standing appointment (which I scheduled AFTER the record release) would be cancelled and we would need to seek a new provider. In their defense, this was noted on the form and I had overlooked it, but we have a wonderful history with them and my daughter was still a patient. They also waited until the appointment was almost here to tell me this... again, booked after the records were sent out (so, their mistake, not mine). While I was very confused about what I was being told, I was respectful during the phone call and, knowing that my daughter still had an appointment coming up, was hopeful to speak with Dr. Mason about it in person during her visit to hopefully clear things up and move forward with both children remaining at her practice, which I still held in high regard. The next day I got a letter in the mail that my daughter's patient status is also terminated--and her appointment, now just over a week away, is also cancelled. I'm saddened and, once again, feel completely blindsided. The letter cites a "lack of rapport" for the termination. Therefore, I'm anticipating that Dr. Mason's rebuttal to this review (if any) will align with what she has said to former patients who have spoken out in the past after similar experiences. So, I want to make one thing very clear before she does so. I am a very non-confrontational person by nature and viewed this as a misunderstanding, one that I wanted to discuss and move on from while maintaining our doctor/patient relationship, regardless of the outcome. In no way was I hostile toward the woman I spoke with on the phone. I did not raise my voice, use any profanity, nor was I aggressive in any way. After reaching out to several friends, I learned that this is a somewhat common occurrence for her (former) patients for various reasons, so I'm surprised there aren't more reviews that mention it. And, while I guess it's good to know that it's not just us, I still can't wrap my mind around it. Anyway, that's why I felt the need to share this with others who may be searching for a pediatric dentist for their own kids. Please proceed with caution if you are considering Bean Tree Pediatrics and, if you do go with them, make sure you have a backup in mind.

We took our boy here for his first appointment and everyone made him feel at ease. All his subsequent appointments have been great. He doesn't know that the dentist is supposed to be a scary place which is a credit to them. Would highly recommend.

Such a great environment. The entire staff is helpful and extremely attentive. The nurses do an excellent job at getting my child's attention and trying to get her as calm as possible. They ensure the environment is welcoming as soon as you open the door. There are numerous toys for the kids in the wait room and they even offer coffee/water to the parents. Once you head towards the back they have chairs in a general space and a private room. They make sure to not overbook so it's not crowded and to make sure to give individual attention to each child. Dr. Mason does a great job explaining everything and she does a great job trying to engage and explain to my daughter as well. I was always so worried about taking my daughter to the dentist, she has sensory issues and doesnt do well with lots of noises or people, they have done an amazing job caring for her and her teeth. I never feel worried or stressed walking through the doors, it's always very welcoming.

My children LOVE coming here. Dr Mason is so kind to my boys and despite them needing significant work, they still love the dentist. Dr Mason explains everything to the kids and keeps them smiling the whole time. I cannot recommend her and this office strongly enough. Great people!

We took our girls (ages 1yr and 3yrs) for their first ever visit today. For being a dental office they did an AMAZING job of blurring the lines between a professional office setting to a comfortable, fun, playful area (and experience) for children. Both of our girls were open and encouraged to explore and make themselves at home while the staff spoke with my husband and I. We saw Dr. Jodi Mason who was caring, compassionate and professional. She had such a peaceful bedside manner that was visibly genuine. Both girls came in and left smiling, and our oldest can't wait to go back for her 6 month check up! Both my husband and I had heard great things by word of mouth and couldn't be more pleased with the experience itself as a whole, which is important to us. Especially as parents trying to establish healthy hygiene regimens. Very professional. Very polite. Very clean. Very affordable for services provided as well. Our little beans LOVE Bean Tree!
