I have been a practicing orthodontist for nearly three decades. Since 1993, Brookline from the schools, sports fields, rinks, and community activities has become an integral part of our family. I feel very fortunate to live and work in such a unique and wonderful town. Our family-based, high-technology practice provides state-of-the-art care. We are committed to providing orthodontic care that is fun, compassionate, affordable, interactive, and effective.

In addition to formal training, my staff and I attend many conferences throughout the year to advance and increase our knowledge of all aspects of orthodontics, from the front desk to better clinical care and orthodontic treatment.

At age 11, I decided to pursue a career in the dental field, and have spent the rest of my life fulfilling this dream. Trained at Beth Israel Hospital, I began my career as a dental assistant. As my broader knowledge of dental office operations grew, I assumed the role of Office Manager, and have flourished in this position since. I am a member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers and the local chapter of the New England Practice Administrators and Managers.
Aside from helping out the patients in our office, my greatest passion is being involved in and giving back to the community. I am involved with Trinity Church in Boston, Beacon Hill Women's Forum, and Community Servings.
I have been an orthodontic assistant for more than 20 years. I am responsible for taking X-rays and impressions for appliances, retainers, and Invisalign, as well as preparing patients teeth for braces and assisting Dr. Lisann with all orthodontic procedures. I enjoy working as an orthodontic assistant and watching smiles change as patients go through their treatment. My goal as an assistant is to provide our patients with a comfortable and enjoyable experience on each visit to our office.

Dr. Lisann and her staff are the best! I had braces placed as an adult in my late fifties. Dr Lisann took the time to explain the process in great depth and took the time to explain each step of the way. She is a perfectionist and that's what you want when your trying to achieve a beautiful smile that lasts forever!
Now my grandchildren are tweens and teens and I have been bringing them to Beacon Orthodontics for evaluations and one is ready for braces the other will be ready soon. I would not bring my grandchildren any where else. Dr Lisann and her staff are professional, kind and always run on time. Parking is easy! I can't say enough about this practice!

Dr. Lisann came highly recommended by several friends as the go-to place for Invisalign. She is knowledgeable, experienced, and a great communicator. The office is organized and efficient. I am looking forward to getting the Invisalign done here.

We had an amazing experience coming to Beacon Orthodontic Associates. My family is from Miami and we are traveling in Boston before we drop off my daughter to summer camp in Maine. My daughter had emergency issue with her braces and we called Dr Lisann with our issue. Lynn answered the phone and was so kind and professional, she immediately spoke to Dr Lisann and they fit us in for an emergency appointment. From the moment we walked into the office we were greated with a smile and my daughter was seen right away. They fixed her issue right away. When we were leaving my daughter asked if she could switch her orthodontist to Dr Lisann from Miami because her and the whole office staff were so kind and nice. We had the best experience and would highly recommend this practice to anyone. They made a stressful time into such a positive experience. Thank you!

Did not feel welcome here. I took my daughter for an initial orthodontic consult on March 31st. The initial woman who came in to take my daughter in (who is 9 and was a little nervous) barked at her to use hand sanitizer and when I asked if I should come in with her, said abruptly to me, "No!" I was a bit off put by this but thought it must be a one-off thing. I had a question and spoke to the woman at the front desk. Not only did she not listen to me, she kept interrupting me, raising her voice, snapping at me and misunderstanding what I was asking. Her tone was condescending and rude. This did not bode well, especially if we had to come to this office repeatedly for orthodontic appts. We then went into see Dr. Lisann. She at least was professional, though she did not have a warm and friendly manner with us either. At this point I was pretty upset and wanted to get out of there--I forgot that we had to go back to the desk to pay for the appt and as we were leaving the front desk woman said, "EXCUSE ME, YOU HAVE TO PAY!!" I was totally taken aback. I am someone who is very conscientious about all payments--it was just that I was upset. The kids kept repeating what she said all the way home. I was very upset after that consult. I have never been treated in such a rude and unprofessional manner as I was at Beacon Orthodontic. Given her stellar reviews for the most part, I had expected to use Dr. Lisann for not only my daughter, but also my other daughter and myself as well. Unfortunately she just lost 3 potential patients. Unless she works with her staff to make a more welcoming atmosphere, I expect we won't be the only ones.

Dr Lisann and her team are the best! Two of my children had their teeth straightened by Dr Lisann and my third child just got braces today. Dr Lisann is very careful and considerate and does an excellent job, and her staff are friendly and helpful. It's great to go to a small office, where there's never a wait and someone always answers the phone and you never feel like you're in a dental factory. They all make this process as smooth as possible.
