Beacon Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons believes in providing patients with a positive oral surgery experience. We have four offices conveniently located around the greater Portland area to serve our patients, and our board-certified surgeons always take the time to make patients feel at ease.
Since 2010, Beacon Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons has been making a difference in the lives of our patients. Both of our oral surgeons are board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS) and excel far beyond the standard of patient care. Together, Dr. Russell Lieblick and Dr. Brandon Rehrer treat every patient with a high level of expertise that results in optimal oral surgery outcomes.
Both Dr. Lieblick and Dr. Rehrer are board-certified by ABOMS, an organization that recognizes surgeons who complete a rigorous peer evaluation process and must abide by the organizations high standards of care while treating patients.
Beacon Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons is proud to maintain a front office and surgical team that is dedicated to providing patients with the most comfortable and pleasant surgical treatment possible. Ensuring that our patients receive optimal outcomes and a positive experience is their top priority.
We have four offices conveniently located around the Portland metro area and near Vancouver, Washington. Our Gresham office is just south of the Columbia River on the east side of Portland, and our Milwaukie office is on the south side of Portland beside the Willamette River. You can find our office in The Dalles near the Oregon and Washington state line, an hour and a half east of the city of Portland. For patients living in or near Vancouver, our Camas office is located on the east side of the city above Government Island.
Dr. Rehrer is an Idaho native who has been influential in the development of dental implant treatment in the region. He is involved with his patients and the community as a current member of the medical staff at Legacy Mount Hood Medical Center and PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. As a committed member of his church, he became fluent in Spanish after a 2-year mission in Spain. Through Dr. Rehers compassionate care and expertise, patients can trust they will receive beautiful results.
He is certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS) and a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Western Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Oregon Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Washington State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), and the Clark County Dental Society.
A father of five (yes, 5) children, he and his wife, Emily, keep busy raising their family. Emily is also an Idaho native who Dr. Rehrer met in the first grade! Hes often coaching his childrens sports teams, as he has a love for sports of any kind. They also enjoy new adventures and love to take their children to create new experiences.
Committed to providing patients with solutions, not just procedures, Dr. Lieblick works with his team to design individualized treatment plans that restore patients oral function and improve their overall health.
When away from the office, Dr. Lieblick and his wife Nina are busy with their two children. They enjoy traveling, especially to visit friends and family from all over the country. They also have a thrill for adventure and like to expose their children to as many new activities as possible.
'Hi, Im Michael from Vancouver, WA, and I came to see Dr. Lieblick for a dental prep. The office staff is very accommodating. They are very helpful in keeping you relaxed. Dr. Lieblick is very unobtrusive. He comes in and he fits in with what youre doing. He could very well be my best friend. The procedure did go well. It was done before I knew it was done, and when he stood up and said he was done I was shocked. For my friends and family in Vancouver and Camas, Washington, I highly recommend Beacon Oral Surgeons. Flabbergasted by the great attention and care I have received from this crew!Dr. Rarer was direct and to the point still making sure all my questions were addressed. Born into healthcare and a nurse most adult life, never thought I would give a 5 star rating for a tooth extraction and here we are... Sorry for your mouth troubles but If you have to go, go here!

I had to get an implant on a front tooth that had to come out. Dr. Lieblick and his staff made the whole experience as pleasant as it could be. They followed up several times and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. From his front desk to his clinical staff: his team is just amazing. Not to mention the superb work the surgeon did for me. 10/10 every visit.

From start to finish they made sure my daughter was comfortable! Even when they didn't really allow family back when they were doing the IV they let me come back so my daughter wasn't so anxious.

PLEASE do your research before choosing Dr. Brandon Rehrer @ Beacon Oral Surgeons. He was unprofessional, rude, and his after care is unacceptable. If you are a person with anxiety, AVOID this practice. My child was mocked by a staff member and asked "Why are you acting like this?" for crying before sedation. Denied requests for anti-anxiety med prior to surgery (it IS offered at other practices) and horrid after-care (was not given correct pain med dosing info repeatedly) and did not address patient's needs. Told to call at any time with concerns and doctor was extremely angry to get a call at 3am. Had to take vomiting/dehydrated child in extreme pain to Urgent Care to get pain management administered intramuscularly . Did not return pages/calls multiple times in a row and attacked me because "doesn't he deserve a Christmas?" (On Christmas Eve Day) The icing on the cake was being told that he "didn't care what we needed " and that "my daughter was not special!"

Update: The doctor reached out to me and let me know what to do to ease discomfort and pain unfortunately the answering service didn't pass along my message. The doctor gave me his contact info and I'll be getting an appointment scheduled tomorrow to be seen soon. Original review: Last night my implant fell out, the screw/metal part, I don't even have my "permanent" tooth in place yet. I tried calling multiple Beacon locations this morning and was hung up on 5 times at the Milwaukie location. The answering service said they would pass my name and contact information to the dentist. I've been trying to reach someone since 7am, it's 6 hours later and I'm still waiting for a call in a panic that something really wrong is happening with my implant. I've resorted to using a small screwdriver on my own to see if I can get this piece more secure in my mouth today and hopefully my regular dentist Sue Walker will be in tomorrow and can recommend a place for me to figure out what might be going on with this situation. For $2,800.00 out of pocket I really thought I'd have access to better care than this. I'm very disappointed with my experience.

I could not have found a better oral surgeon than Dr. Lieblick. He is the best of the best. I have done 2 dental implants (one with a tooth extraction combo) and also a wisdom tooth extraction. All surgeries were great. I am thankful for Dr. Lieblick. I am calm knowing that he is doing my surgeries since I know I have the right surgeon. The rest I leave up to him. Everything flows smoothly and efficiently in his offices from the expertise of the dental assistants to the responsiveness of the front staff and billing department. Great office overall.

Very pleasant experience with the Beacon team. An implant surgery is not something to look forward to, but all went unbelievably smooth and trouble free afterwards.
