Beacon Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons believes in providing patients with a positive oral surgery experience. We have four offices conveniently located around the greater Portland area to serve our patients, and our board-certified surgeons always take the time to make patients feel at ease.
Since 2010, Beacon Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons has been making a difference in the lives of our patients. Both of our oral surgeons are board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS) and excel far beyond the standard of patient care. Together, Dr. Russell Lieblick and Dr. Brandon Rehrer treat every patient with a high level of expertise that results in optimal oral surgery outcomes.
Both Dr. Lieblick and Dr. Rehrer are board-certified by ABOMS, an organization that recognizes surgeons who complete a rigorous peer evaluation process and must abide by the organizations high standards of care while treating patients.
Beacon Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons is proud to maintain a front office and surgical team that is dedicated to providing patients with the most comfortable and pleasant surgical treatment possible. Ensuring that our patients receive optimal outcomes and a positive experience is their top priority.
We have four offices conveniently located around the Portland metro area and near Vancouver, Washington. Our Gresham office is just south of the Columbia River on the east side of Portland, and our Milwaukie office is on the south side of Portland beside the Willamette River. You can find our office in The Dalles near the Oregon and Washington state line, an hour and a half east of the city of Portland. For patients living in or near Vancouver, our Camas office is located on the east side of the city above Government Island.
Dr. Rehrer is an Idaho native who has been influential in the development of dental implant treatment in the region. He is involved with his patients and the community as a current member of the medical staff at Legacy Mount Hood Medical Center and PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. As a committed member of his church, he became fluent in Spanish after a 2-year mission in Spain. Through Dr. Rehers compassionate care and expertise, patients can trust they will receive beautiful results.
He is certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS) and a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Western Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Oregon Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Washington State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), and the Clark County Dental Society.
A father of five (yes, 5) children, he and his wife, Emily, keep busy raising their family. Emily is also an Idaho native who Dr. Rehrer met in the first grade! Hes often coaching his childrens sports teams, as he has a love for sports of any kind. They also enjoy new adventures and love to take their children to create new experiences.
Committed to providing patients with solutions, not just procedures, Dr. Lieblick works with his team to design individualized treatment plans that restore patients oral function and improve their overall health.
When away from the office, Dr. Lieblick and his wife Nina are busy with their two children. They enjoy traveling, especially to visit friends and family from all over the country. They also have a thrill for adventure and like to expose their children to as many new activities as possible.
'Hi, Im Michael from Vancouver, WA, and I came to see Dr. Lieblick for a dental prep. The office staff is very accommodating. They are very helpful in keeping you relaxed. Dr. Lieblick is very unobtrusive. He comes in and he fits in with what youre doing. He could very well be my best friend. The procedure did go well. It was done before I knew it was done, and when he stood up and said he was done I was shocked. For my friends and family in Vancouver and Camas, Washington, I highly recommend Beacon Oral Surgeons. Definitely five-star quality.'

I had two wisdom teeth extracted a little over a week ago by Dr. Lieblick and his team. I opted to take a nap while they did it and it was the best sleep I have had in months! Following the procedure my pain level was at most a 2-3/10. I never needed more than a couple Advil for pain management (...I kept the Vicoden Rx for a reeeeeally rainy day) All said, the entire process was very easy, great follow-up and customer service! I would definitely recommend Beacon for having your wisdom teeth extracted.

Was shocked to arrive with referral that I need wisdom teeth out, to go in and out for 20 minutes and be told yes I need wisdom teeth out, and to be charged $200 dollars for that 20 minutes. I had no impression that would be the case upon appointment set up or at check in. I didn't schedule my surgery after consultation. Edit: despite their claims below, no one communicated any of the costs prior to presenting me with the charge, after the consult. That is why chose not to give them my business. They charged me $200 for 20 minutes of my time and have the gall to call me a liar. Shame

I went in today because I was finalist for the second chance. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and everyone at the front desk were very nice. I'm scared to death of dentists but I felt totally comfortable when I was there. Both the xray tech and Dr Lieblick were very nice. Even though I didn't have any work done today I just want to say thank you for making my experience a good one, it helped my fear.

Very Thorough and explained procedures and how to care for my dental extraction area afterwards and when I had issues with pain medication not working they were able to help so my healing process was quick instead of long and painful.

Superb customer service starts at the front desk and permeates itself to every single person working there. The oral surgeons & practice leadership set the tone. It's an amazing seamless process when you enter. Everyone knows exactly what needs to be done and when. It's so calming and peaceful. Highly recommended for any oral surgical needs.

The most non-dental, dental experience of my life and I mean that in the very best way. They are incredibly kind and caring throughout the entire process, the surgery and recovery went smoothly (I mean, it is still dental surgery, but was better than I thought it would be) and the follow-up was amazing. I would highly recommend to everyone.

I loved everything about my experience with beacon oral. They were able to get me in quickly and get started on the process, they reduced an entire waiting period of the process to make the entire experience quicker than I've had with other implants and other institutions. I liked working with the girls that were arranging my insurance and payments and that they were able to assist me in requesting a distribution for medical hardship from my 401k at work. I liked the quality of work and felt the doctor did a great job.

Excellent experience. The staff was friendly and professional! Dr. Rehrer and his team did an amazing job. I went in for an extraction and implant, I was a little nervous because they had to perform a sinus lift, which apparently is very common, and I opted to not be under for the procedure. It was not at all as bad as I thought that it would be. Dr. Rehrer and his team had me in and out of there in about a half hour to forty-five minutes, I think the actual procedure from extraction to implant was about 20 minutes, and it was no worse than having a root canal done. Thank you very much and I hope to never have to see you again, but if I do I know I'll be in good hands. P.S. would like to add that I had no issues with billing, and ended up paying a little more out of pocket than I was expecting, but that's because my insurance didn't cover the sinus lift (not Beacon's fault). But other than that it was hassle-free.

This place is fantastic, I had 6 teeth removed all together in one visit (all 4 wisdom teeth and two broken molars on one side), everyone was very nice, calming and brought a inviting atmosphere, they explained very clearly everything that was going to happen and once I woke up from surgery they wheeled me out to my car and helped me get in the passenger seat. I would absolutely recommend and use them again.
