Beacon Dental, PC was established in 2005 from the floor up, with brand new construction, and we located the office for easy access for the community and beyond. We have worked hard to build a reputation in the community as a dental practice that cares about patients and has contributed to the community.
We are focused on prevention, diagnosis and treatment of detrimental dental conditions. These include diseases affecting teeth, gums and maxillofacial region of the body. We offer a wide range of dental services including bonding, veneers, root canals and complete smile make-overs. Our success has changed many patients lives with confident smiles and good oral health.

People who know her agree Dr. Wang is one amazing woman! Born and raised in Beijing, China, she earned her first dental degree from Beijing University in 1988 and worked as a dentist for five years. She came to America in 1993, but did not speak the language. She learned English and enrolled in dental school here in New York. She graduated from New York Universitys Dental School and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2001. After working as an associate dentist for 3 years, Dr. Wang made the decision to take control of her future and opened her own practice. She chose Beacon for her office because of the location, the community, and the need for more dentists in this area. Beacon Dental has been open for more than five years and has been growing ever since! Dr. Wang is a caring, gentle dentist who takes the time to educate her patients about their oral health. Her goal is to help patients achieve successful treatment and have a beautiful, healthy smile. The doctor has worked hard to build a reputation in the community as a doctor who cares. She goes out of her way to make sure each patients needs are met.
Diana is our Office Manager at Beacon Dental. Although shes only been at Beacon Dental for less than a year, she has over 20 years of experience in the dental field. She helps our patients manage their busy life schedules, so they can complete their dental treatments. She has a powerful background in the dental field, which makes her a key person in our office. She is very professional and makes sure all her work gets completed with the highest quality.
Diana enjoys cooking a soulful Sunday dinner for her family and going to the beach on a hot summer day (although she can not swim!), or hanging out by the fire pit on a cool autumn night with friends and family.
She fell in love with the rhythm of the days in a practice when returning to work after raising her family. Her first practice was a Veterinary office, she jokes that she works with teeth now but gets bit less. She loves supporting the Clinical Team and the interaction with our patients.
Fiona is the Treasurer and Dr. Wangs personal assistant! Shes the jack of all trades; she is one of the only employees who know how to do everything in the office. She is one of the first employees to be here at Beacon Dental. She started working with Dr. Wong since 2006. Being born in Gong Dong, China she came to the United States in 2002 knowing little to no English at all. She has since then mastered the English language. In her free time she runs a family business with her husband.
Yolanda has been a dental assistant for 31 years. She started 16 years old in high school, part time, when her personal dentist and office manager liked her personality so much they offered her a job and training! She is fast, neat, and self motivated! She enjoys making patients feel comfortable and at ease and explaining to them how good oral health is and how important it is for their overall health. Her goal is to make the work flow in our office go as efficiently as possible.
4 years ago my husband and I left the Jersey Shore for the beautiful Hudson Valley. We moved to Washingtonville to help care for our two little grandkids. I was fortunate to find Dr. Wang and the wonderful Beacon Dental family. The excellent dentistry by Dr. Wang along with the most up to date technology has allowed me to continue my passion for Dental Hygiene. Making that terrified patient just a little less apprehensive is my goal!.
Mariah started working in dental when she was 17 years old & found her love of the dental field. After working as a receptionist for over 2 years, she took a step forward and began assisting. She has been working both these sides of dental for 3 years now and she discovered that she loves doing both parts. She has found that its easier explaining to patients their treatment with the experience of assisting. Outside of the office, Mariah enjoys cooking and spending time with the family. In the future she would like to take another step forward & attend hygiene school.

This doctor is running such a shady practice. She over charges and makes up "needed dental work" for her own pocket. After my last visit and being told I had four cavities and a potential root canal (she'd have to determine that during the fillings) I decided to get a 2nd opinion...surprise! No cavities. She also takes x-rays when ever possible to max out her insurance reimbursement even when they are unnecessary. Found a much better, HONEST, dentist in Hopewell. Stay away, unless you're looking to get ripped off and lied to. You're also legally entitled to your X-rays get those!! You'd be surprised what you'll learn from another doctor vs. her diagnosis.

I have loved Dr. Wang and Maryanne from Day 1! I just moved here a few years ago and was looking for a dentist and always had a fear and anxiety but Dr. Wang put me at ease immediately and I can't say enough about her and the amazing hygienist, Maryanne! I am no longer in fear. They are simply magnificent!!!

Terrible I didn't get nothing I done I went there for filling cost me 99 dollars for a doctor to come in put in 1 filling and tried to have me pay another 70 dollars for a consultation still never did me other filling I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to go there

The Doctor was very gentle and kind. He used a topical numbing gel before the freezing needle which made all the difference in the dental experience. The difference was like comparing a walk in the park to physical torture.

I have been extremely happy with the advice and care given by Beacon Dental. It took time for the doctor to do repairs and get my problems under control, but once that was done, things have been very positive. I have found that doing whatever the dentist and her hygienists recommended has worked. I use dental floss, a Waterpik, an electric toothbrush and a baking soda rinse. I also buy the fluoride package offered and see them every 3 months. I would recommend Beacon Dental to anyone.

Excellent, makes you feel really safe with all the cleaning procedures they have in place since the pandemic. They really pay good attention to your teeth which you would think is obvious but hey some places don't get into the nooks and crannies like this dentistry practice! Edit 8/25/22 I wish I could leave another 5 star review. I had tooth trouble and Dr. Ma, Dr. Arsuaga, Dr. Wang, Susan the hygienist and the whole office helped me through all the steps to getting my smile fixed. I can't thank them enough! And I didn't have to go anywhere else, that's the best part.

Waited for over 45 min after my set appointment time both times I was there, had to walk out on my last, wasn't getting seen anytime soon....very unorganized, go elsewhere
