Dr. Coe was born and raised in Williamston, Michigan. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in financial management from Hillsdale College. During his time at Hillsdale, he was a member of the varsity basketball team.
After college, he continued playing basketball in the International Basketball League for the Lansing Capitals. He then played overseas in both Germany and Portugal. After injuries ended his basketball career, he returned to Michigan State University and received his Juris Doctorate, graduating valedictorian as a Kings Scholar from Michigan State College of Law. He also earned his MBA, graduating salutatorian from the Eli Broad College of Business. He successfully passed the bar exam and is currently a licensed attorney in Michigan.
Dr. Coe then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Stony Brook University in New York City, graduating as a salutatorian. Following dental school, he received his orthodontic specialty certificate at the University of Detroit Mercy. He completed an orthodontic residency which provided specialized training in the following:
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Lindsay Coe, and their two children. They enjoy traveling, cooking and spending time with family. Dr. Coes goal is to help each of his patients build self-confidence through crafting beautiful smiles.

The staff at Beaches and Braces are top notch!! Someone is always available to answer a question or squeeze us in with in the hour for a broken brace or wire! I would recommend this office to anyone needing an orthodontist.

Highly Recommend. They are very friendly, professional, and clean. All of my kids will be going here for treatment. They also have a nice family discount when more then one person receives treatment.

Dr. Coe is amazing. He always goes the extra mile and you leave there feeling important and taken care of. Truly awesome!! Your visit starts and ends with their warm front desk staff as well. My personal favorite is Gina

The staff here at the Walker location are wonderful. Scheduling is flexible to fit our busy schedules. (Gina at the front desk is amazing!) Dr Coe and his staff take the time to get to know their patients. They care and they do great work!

Daughter checked in for appointment on time. After waiting 20 minutes and watching several other patients get called back she asked the receptionist if it would be her turn soon and they told her they forgot all about her. Then when she went back, Dr. Coe scolded her for being late. Next visit she texted that she was there as requested and waited in the car to be called inside. After 10 minutes of waiting she just went in. They said that they hadn't t even checked the phones yet. Why send a text telling the patient to text upon arrival and wait for a reply before coming in if you're not going to check it? Went to an appointment to see Dr. Coe and he wasn't even there and told us to come back tomorrow. Due to their untimely notifications and scheduling, Invisalign ordered in August and not delivered until December did not fit. New scans and new Invisalign ordered with a promise to mail them when they arrived. Promise not kept. All I get are excuses. I would take our business elsewhere but we are stuck because we paid in full. With so many options for orthodontists, save yourself many problems and avoid this one.
