Dr. Yokochi was born and raised in Hawaii. He attended Whittier College for his Bachelors in Biochemistry, then Northwestern University for his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Yokochi has fans and friends who started out as patients. He clearly loves what he does. He grew up watching both his uncle and father, both dentists, enjoy their work and build lasting relationships throughout the community in Hawaii.
To hear patients talk, Dr. Yokochi has done the same in Huntington Beach. He has grown his reputation throughout his over 30 years of practice by listening to the patient, putting their needs first and creating longevity and function in peoples smiles. Besides his restorative work, hes a Preferred Provider of Invisalign and a great sounding board for prioritizing goals in terms of necessity and budgets.
Dr. Yokochi has advanced knowledge in restorative dentistry. From the most severe cases to people with dental fears, Dr. Yokochi uses a light touch and gentle approach with highly accurate and patient-sensitive technologies and tools to both identify and resolve problems in a timely and efficient manner.
He is the father of 2 children, Archer age 16 who has Autism, and Aysia age 15. He is active in Autism Today & Autism Support. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Yokochi likes to quilt and throw pottery.
I dont have to make a lot of money. I just want to do good work for my patients and make them happy. My patients become friends because I treat them like I would my sister, my mother and my children. Thats more important to me than the business side.

Did a terrible job on me.Dental assistant accidentally glued my temporary teeth permanently in.Had to scrape away wrong glueAnd almost jeopardized the dental work already Done.Doctor Daryl Yokochi Overcharged me.Most of the dental work was previously done by another Dentist .But he still charged me full price for the whole procedure when all he had to do was the finishing touchesAnd charge me for just the finishing touches.He charged me for work already done previously by another dentist.I desireYou are treated well and go to a good dentistI'll never go back to this dentist again.Warning alert :Stay away from this dentist..!!!

Beach Family Dentistry always provided high quality service. I had several crowns (re) done because other dentists I was using were substandard. All work done by Dr. Yokochi and his assistants is of high quality. I especially like dental hygienist working there. She is outstanding.

I had some sensitivity with one of my back molars. Dr. Yokochi did my crown. The process painless as Dr. Yokochi was very gentle. Even the numbing medication injection was painless. I will recommend this office to family and friends.

My husband's tooth cracked in half and he was having major pain! I reached out and was told about Dr. Toan Nguyen. He was able to fit him in the next day! His appointment was at 1pm and was done within an hour. He said it was so comfortable and pain free that he almost fell asleep and he doesn't want to go to any other dentist again. He got a quote for the work and we were ready to pay but luckily Dr. Toan Nguyen accepts state insurance! We are so happy and grateful for finding this dentist.
