Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.

An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

The dentist was rude, treated me like I was a nuisance. Temporary false teeth hurt, couldn't wear them, she took them out a few times to try to fix them which she didn't and then said she's not doing it again, go home. The teeth had group harden and she didn't even clean them even if the fit I would wear them, gross. They never made an appointment to get final teeth and I paid them I paid over $7000

Beach City Dental was a great experience. I was scared to death of going to the dentist . However , the professionalism and customer service was amazing. The receptionists were warm and welcoming. Joel ,my hygienist, was very calm and respectful and reassuring. He was very gentle with my deep cleaning and took time to explain everything so I would feel more comfortable. Dr. Brown was extremely knowledgeable and took time to explain everything to help me take control of my oral health. Great office!! I will definitely be a regular patient. Thank you Beach City Dental.

Due to a fear of dentists from the practices that went on in the 70s, I had developed severe periodontitis which forced the removal of teeth and addition of a bridge. I first went in to get my teeth cleaned, met with and was treated by both the periodontist and the dentist. They were sympathetic to my fear of dental work and went over and above to minimize my pain. After multiple visits, I am now just waiting on my final bridge, and even with the temp bridge, I no longer have a broken picket fence in my mouth. BCD was upfront about all costs and what would and would not be covered by my policy (dental policies are a joke). They even contacted my dental group to have erroneous charges changed on my account. I'll be getting my teeth whitened soon and they instructed me to visit the local company to have my tooth color matched for my permanent bridge. It took me a few tries to find BCD group and I am very happy that I did. I highly recommend them.

Awful. They cancel appointments at a whim. What's the point in making appointments if they cancel all the time? Unprofessional, unprofessional, unprofessional!!! Steer clear of this office.

I am 59 years old and for the first time in my life I have strung together several dentist appointments with no issues. Cleanings are a breeze and I don't miss the drill! Since I started with Dr. Black 5 or 6 years ago my oral hygiene and oral health have dramatically improved. Thanks to you Dr. Black and your fine team!

Buckle in for this story, it gets wack. So I went in for two tooth extractions on eaither side. Everything went fine and it was quick and easy. I get home, look in the mirror and see they pulled the wrong tooth I asked to be taken out. So I go back and ask them why they took out the wrong one. Apparently the one they took out was causing problems that I didn't even notice. So they kinda saved me a lot of trouble later in the future. Thank God. I was very worried for a quick sec.

My first visit I was told that due to excessive tartar buildup I would need a deep cleaning which turned out to be no deeper than any other cleaning I've had from other dental offices. It was just a basic cleaning. When I went back for my second visit I was told that I had to get the deep cleaning again and that it would be an extra $30. I told the receptionist that I just wanted the basic cleaning but she said because the hygienist recommended ongoing deep cleanings that my insurance wouldn't cover a basic cleaning. I canceled my appointment and left. They pulled the same nonsense on my wife and based on the reviews I've read, this is a pattern. I do not recommend this place!

This is purely based on the call with the customer service today. Initially the office person on the phone said they need to check with the insurance whether there is any out of pocket expense. On top of it I checked with the insurance and they said this group is in network 100% covered for preventive care which includes basic cleaning. Bottom line - I mentioned them about the reviews from google and other platform saying you end up people to pay money for preventive care cleaning and she explained clearly that if doctor recommends deep cleaning and you say "No, I will do the deep cleaning later, I would like to go with the basic cleaning". They will refuse to do the basic cleaning since doctor did not recommend that. Which explains, doctor most of the time forces people to go with deep cleaning for which the patient need to pay out of pocket. Pure business. The insurance clearly said the basic cleanings are 100% covered which these guys don't offer most of the time. I think with basic cleaning they don't make much money and with deep cleaning they make a lot. I ended up cancelling the appointment not to fall in the trap.

**AVOID THIS DENTAL OFFICE** The visit felt like I was in a high pressure sales situation. They were upselling everything. My appointment was on 04/01/2021. I booked a teeth cleaning appointment and left feeling like I wasted an hour of my time. They only examined my teeth. The co-pay for their services was 100% higher than my cash price at my previous dental office and their office was unwilling to work with me. I asked them whether they were able to perform the "deep" cleaning but they stated they could only do half today. That is when I drew the line and left. Claiming there was a difference between teeth cleaning and "deep" cleaning is unethical and charging $1250 for a cleaning to the insurance company should be malpractice. My cash price at my other dentist was $125 and was a deep cleaning. I don't do well with high pressure sales and, based on my first time experience there, I will never return.

DO NOT TRUST THIS DENTAL GROUP! Seriously, read the reviews. These people are criminals, and I'm currently looking at sending a complaint to the board. They were not forthcoming with the costs associated with a basic dental cleaning, and completely ripped me off by hiding charges. They had me "sign in" for my appointment and then after my cleaning I was presented an additional charge that I was not aware of. The receptionist said I signed that I agreed to additional service - I did not. I have never written a review before in my life, but feel so strongly about being so blatantly ripped off that I had to write a review to warn others.
