She attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI for her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Sciences and Marquette University School of Dentistry for her Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude with both. During her time at Marquette, Dr. Hurley was awarded many honors including induction into Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit Honor Society and the very prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. She was also recognized for academic excellence and outstanding leadership by the American Association of Women Dentists, commemorated by the Milwaukee Odontological Academy for retaining top-five class ranking, was president of her chapter of Delta Sigma Delta Professional Dental Fraternity, was invited to participate in Marquettes Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery honors program and concurrently commended by Marquette for clinical excellence in all aspects of patient care.Clinical excellence and advanced dentistry are pillars in Dr. Hurleys daily practice. Dr. Hurley is an academic at heart, and she strongly values continued learning so that she may provide only the most current and top-notch clinical care. In dedication to providing you with the highest quality care available, Dr. Hurley has pursued hundreds of hours of advanced continuing education across all facets of general dentistry, with an extensive focus on implant dentistry. Dr. Hurley has earned her fellowship in implant dentistry and advanced oral surgery through Implant Pathway. She is also a proud member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and is currently enrolled in the prestigious AAID New York Maxicourse through which she will participate in over 300 hours of implant-focused advanced education as she diligently works toward her fellowship with the academy. Outside of implant dentistry, Dr. Hurley has studied the delivery of cosmetic botulinum toxin and dermal fillers as well as TMJ/orofacial pain with the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. She has also studied clear aligner orthodontics and has taken advanced post-graduate coursework in various other topics including cosmetic dentistry and endodontics. Dr. Hurley enjoys all aspects of clinical care and thus is a dedicated member in the Academy of General Dentistry where she is persistently working toward her fellowship award. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Maryland State Dental Association, the Baltimore City Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.Dr. Hurley holds humanitarian service and giving back through dentistry very near to her heart.She has volunteered her services with local organizations and events including Mission of Mercy, Special Smiles, Healthy Kids Day, and Give Kids a Smile. She has also traveled to Honduras and Nicaragua on several mission trips providing dental treatment to local villages in dire need of care. Dr. Hurley understands that the need for community service through dentistry is everywhere and she strives to provide dentistry that will better her patients lives each day. She looks forward to serving the Canton community through dentistry and being more to the community than just another dental practice.Dr. Hurley and her husband Matt met at Marquette University through a mission trip to Honduras and got married a few years later. They moved to Maryland in 2018 and they quickly fell in love with Baltimore City and knew that they were here to stay. They now call Upper Fells Point home, where they reside with their 105 lb rescue dog, Cosmo. Dr. Hurley enjoys time with family and friends, traveling, being active and being outdoors. When not in the office, she can be found hiking, camping, biking, climbing, working out at the Merritt Club in Canton, hitting a SolidCore class, or just walking Cosmo around Patterson Park. If you see her out and about, she invites you to stop and say hello! It has always been Dr. Hurleys dream to practice dentistry within her own community and serve the needs of her own neighbors and friends, and she could not be more delighted to have landed here in Canton. She hopes to see you in or out of the office soon!

My appointment went extremely well. There was a lot of drilling but I didn't feel a thing. The drill was annoying and I wish I had my headphones but other than that all went well. After the novocaine wore out there was some discomfort, which was expected, but ibuprofen took care of that. TBH, I think today's visit was one of the best Dental visits I've had. No one enjoys the dentist but if every appointment I have with Bmore dental is like this, I won't mind as much.

Needed to change my time for some personal reasons; the office made the rearrangements with no problem. My scheduled appointment was right on time; I was made aware of any "findings" that need to be addressed and checked out...zero problems.

Why did Dr. McCullom have to retire?! I was a longtime client of his and stayed with the practice after he retired. He was awesome. His replacement - not so awesome. First visit in for a cleaning and cracked filling, but no cleaning was performed and would not address the filling until the cleaning happend. I met the hygienist first and she probed for an hour and ended with Dr. Hurley coming in and said I needed a deep cleaning and encouraged a water pic. Funny thing is, I heard her tell at least 2 other people the same thing. I think that's her MO - everyone needs a water pick and a deep cleaning. I was told that I had schedule the deep cleaning over 2 visits. Tried acheduling on the way out and first session was 2-3 months away and second vist was a month after that. The filling issue would not be addressed for over 6 months! She also said that I should probably get my jaw broken to address my underbite/crossbite unless I was ok with looking at myself like this, but I would have to go to an oral surgeon and have that taken care of. I decided to go to another dentist and get a second opinion and they said a deep cleaning was not needed (the dentist probed for 15 minutes) and was able to get a cleaning scheduled within a week of making first appointment. Filling ended up being a crown but was addressed soon after cleaning and was a lot cheaper than Be More prices. Today I received a collections notice from Dr. Hurley - thanks! It is probably for a couple of dollars, but they will not take payment at the doctor's office and letter said we no longer have a doctor-patient relarionship! WOW. Clients beware of this cosmetic dentist. She will definitely recommend work you don't need. There are much better dental practices out there. Dr. McCollum - I miss you.

My cleaning went great! And The Dr. Made my 2 fillings painless. Originally scheduled for one but found I needed 2. ( one had cracked since the last appt) She was so great in accommodating Me at that appt. So I didn't have to schedule a second visit.
