I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. After completing dental school I served for four years as a Dental Officer in the United States Navy. Most recently I have been practicing in rural Eastern Washington. I continue to improve my skills by taking continuing education courses, and I am up to date on current dental practices and technology. I have extensive experience in all aspects of general dentistry including oral surgery, root canal therapy, and cosmetic dentistry.
I spent the majority of my youth in Colorado, where I grew to love the outdoors. Trail running, backpacking, cycling, and marathoning are some of my favorite outdoor activities. My wife, Kandis, and I have been married for 18 years. We have two children, Hayden and Brinley. My family and I are excited to practice and make our home in Polson, MT.'

Dr. Ricks took my wisdom tooth out and it was super smooth and pain free! My recovery was very fast too and I was able to eat in a few hours. The x-ray and exam were done very professionally and thoroughly as well. Dr. Ricks was very knowledgeable and you can tell he cares about his patients. The staff are friendly and competent. The office was clean and well organized, with an amazing lake view! Five Stars!

Dr. Ricks has a great bedside manner. Willing to discuss all possible alternatives to dental issues. Helped me through a major dental procedure. If something is beyond his comfort level, he has no problem referring you to another dental specialist. Staff are professional, warm and friendly. I feel lucky to have found Bayview Dental!

Was referred by family to Dr. Ricks I have a lot of missing teeth and cavities every dentist I have been to before has just wanted to pull my teeth they never wanted to fix them. But today I had my first visit with Dr. Ricks and he laid out a plan to get all my teeth fixed and get me a partial denture so that I can have a full set of teeth again and chew right. Thank you so much Bayview Dental. I will be bringing my kids her as well if I can.

After experiencing severe tooth pain for days I called Bayview Dental they got me in right away. Instead of pulling the tooth (That other dentist wanted too) that was causing the severe pain Dr. Ricks fixed and saved the tooth. Dr. Ricks also had laid out a plan to get all my other teeth fixed down the road. They have a wonderful staff, family/friendly, professional, and prompt. The Best Dentist I've ever been too. YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!

My wife and I recently moved to Mt and I needed some major work done. Bay view was able to fit us in earlier than other offices and went to straight to working on the decay I had happening on my teeth. The office is amazing, the staff are friendly, and the view of the lake while you are sitting in the chair makes the visit actually enjoyable! Highly recommend this office for your dental needs!

If ICOULD RATE THEM HIGHER I WOULD GIVE THEM A 110 RATING. THERE FAMILY ORIENTED. THEY MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE FAMILY WHEN YOU GO IN. DR. RICK'S EXPLAINS EVERYTHING HE'S DOING AS HE'S DOING IT. I CONSIDER THEM FAMILY. THE BEST DENTIST I'VE EVER BEEN TO AND I'VE BEEN TO ALOT. GOT A EMERGENCY HE GETS YOU RIGHT IN. I COULD GO ON AND ON ABOUT HIM AND HIS STAFF. BUT ILL END IT WITH DR. Been to many dentists to get some long time issues resolved. None of them were either capable or willing to see the process through to the end, just wanted to refer me here or there and brushed me off. The staff at bay view made what I thought was going to be a painful, long and drawn out process happen in less than a week and this included oral surgery. I can't say enough great things about the entire staff here. I felt important and it was obvious that I was looked at as a person and not a pay check which was all I was to other local dentists. At other dentists I was looked at initially and handed a bill that made me think i was going to have to hit the lottery to solve my issues. The team here worked with my dental insurance and educated me instead of making me feel like I'm on my own. They even saw me after my surgery to make sure I felt comfortable about the results of the surgery. Thank you bay view dental, my entire family are now loyal patrons for life.

This is the best dental I have ever gone too! They did a wonderful job. Gentle, clean, and quick! They did alot of extra work on my teeth then they had to in such little time. Very responsive. Got me right in. I had a cracked tooth along with a very bad tooth that was painful and they fixed me right up. I loved that Noel (DA) took her time to polish alot of extra teeth. My teeth look brand new! I am very impressed
