Since early childhood, dentistry has been a part of Dr. Shaykovas life. Her passion and devotion came from observing her mother who is a dentist in Bulgaria. She knew she wanted to follow in her mothers footsteps.
After high-school, Aleksandra went through a rigorous six years of training and became a Doctor of Dentistry in 2003 in Bulgaria. She worked parallel in her mothers private practice. However, Dr. Shaykova had the drive to discover the latest technology and to gain more knowledge and experience in the United States.
She graduated with honors from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 2008. She worked as a general dentist with children and adults in private practice in the greater Los Angeles area. Occasionally, she treated medically compromised patients in hospitals and reirement communities. Aleksandra did a 6 month internship with the well renowned cosmetic dentist Dr. Dave Eshom, DDS, whose example of beautiful work, precision and excellence have inspired Dr. Shaykova to strive for the very best for each patient.
In 2010, Dr. Shaykova moved to Orlando, FL and today she is dedicated to providing lifetime dentistry and care to all her patients. Dr. Shaykova's biggest passion is cosmetic dentistry I love the transformation that unveils in front of my eyes, it changes lives dramatically and people's confidence. There is nothing better than a healthy, youthful, radiant-looking smile.
Dr.Shaykova has taken numerous courses on Aesthetic Dentistry, Periodontology, Oral Surgery, Implantology, Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Pediatric Dentistry and Orthdontics. She loves learning and is dedicated to constant updates and growth so that to be able to best serve you. Dr.Shaykova recognizes that all of her patients come with different vision and anticipation for their oral health. So, our doctor and professional and friendly team tunes in to customize your experience and expectations.
In her free time, Dr.Shaykova enjoys outdoor activities like biking, hiking, canoeing, roller-blading and ball-room dancing. She is active in her church and is passionate about community service. She is fluent in English, Bulgarian and Russian.

A great experience!!! I went here and am so glad I did as the staff and dentist are all very friendly and professional as well. I was explained everything that was going on and she/ the dentist was very helpful in any questions I have , very gentle , very knowledgeable and humble. I would highly recommend going here as I have found my forever dentist. Update: I went back for further treatment and again I was not disappointed at all. Dentist Aleksandra Shaykova and her whole team at Bay tree are phenomenal and give thorough and compassionate gentle care. I still HIGHLY recommend them.

The hygienist Karen is always very cheerful and helpful. Annie and the ladies at the front counter are easy to work with. Dr. Shaykova was on vacation, the other dentist her name escapes me at the moment and the dental assistant Joyce were very good at putting me at ease. Dr. Aleksandra Shaykova, DDS has a good team of professionals at Baytree Family Dental here in Lake Mary, Florida

I need to speak the truth of a bad experience on 6/2/22! This really pains me after years of great customer service, expertise, and great rapport (equaling great results) ... I am ending my relationship with Baytree family dental!!! Pre-Covid... I spent around $7K on Invisalign and when Covid hit I did not go back for two years due to working in healthcare and fear that close contact for my Invisalign/ dental work would cause me to contract Covid and Infect the elderly patients I work with!! I had no idea that Invisalign will not continue a "paid in full case " to the finish point if the case was open for five years or more!!! Okay, I was contacted inquiring when I was going to continue my Invisalign and for cleaning appointments; but, NEVER told that my case would expire!!! I made an appointment for my original attachments to be removed and ended up being there for almost an hour and a half and the Invisalign specialist although just trying to do his job ... Apparently, forgot that he was dealing with an actual human!! He caused me great discomfort and actually gagging me at one point as he tried frantically to remove my attachments, get x-rays, and take digital imaging!!! It turns out that to continue my case it will cost $2K more dollars!!! I had a good relationship with the dentist and staff prior to Covid... I even referred ( pre- covid) 2 people for dental work (including my own father!!), and a fully completed-successful Invisalign customer !!! I am just a number to make money at Baytree Dental And I will not return

This office comes on very strong with quite expensive "necessary" treatment that is not in line with my long-time dentist's evaluation. I wish his office was closer. I'll be getting a second opinion somewhere else.

I appreciate this office so much. They do quality work at very reasonable prices and truly seem to CARE about the well-being of your oral health. The front desk girls are so very sweet and the assistants are so helpful. Dr. Shaykova is one of the few dentist I've encountered that had realistic expectations of her patients. She always recommends what's right but doesn't shame you for not being able to do things immediately, she will work a plan of care with you to accomplish it all at your pace. I've referred many friends to her and they're so pleased as well. This office is a keeper!

Best dentist In the business. She's extremely knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to make sure your happy with your smile! She gives you a step by step treatment plan and makes it easy to accomplish. The staff is so kind and very helpful with everything. She's always there for emergencies also which is huge when you have kids in sports. 5 stars for me
