Dr. Bhatt is an adjunct faculty member at his alma mater, the illustrious University of Southern California Dental School. Because he has several practices throughout OC and LA Counties, he is also a member of the Diamond Bar Lions Club and often volunteers within the surrounding community. When asked why she chose dentistry as her career, Dr. Susan Bollinger will humbly tell you that she enjoys helping patients improve their quality of life. And, for the last several decades, that has been what she has put her energies behind. From the start of her dental education at UCLA, she has added advanced training in Forensic Odontology, Dental Sleep Medicine, and is a Fellow of the American Association of Integrative Medicine. She is also a Diplomate of the College of Dentistry and holds memberships in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM), while also participating as Level IV Certified Medical Examiner.
As a founding member of Bayshore Dental Group, Dr. Bollinger has served the Newport Beach community for over 26 years. And the secret of her success has been centered around how she has challenged both herself and her team to always get superior results. You will find that the elements of the practice have been carefully designed around the patient's experience and lifestyle.
Dr. Bollinger shares adamantly that youve got to like people to be a dentist and this is what you will find woven throughout the Bayshore Practice. She is emphatic about providing care that affects the overall health of her patients, and that is why she now focuses on sleep related conditions, such as obstructive sleep apnea. As one of a small number of dentists specially trained in this area, she understands the broad number of chronic medical conditions that are directly connected to poor sleep. Research has shown that 26% of American adults between the ages of 30-70 suffer from sleep apnea and 80% of those individuals do not even know they have it! Caring for these patients and extending their lives is what Dr. Bollinger now strives for. And, on another note, by reducing the snoring of one or both partners, she claims to have saved several marriages and precipitated at least two weddings that she was blessed to attend!
As she has begun her retirement phase, Dr. Bollinger has trimmed her schedule down to one to two days a week. When not in the office, you will find her playing Boche and pickle ball or enjoying ocean activities like kayaking.

20 years of visiting, never had a bad experience, I appreciate seeing the same faces when I walk in (Nancy and Rachel are some of my favorite people) for all of those 20 years. Rebecca is an absolute delight,- the best hygienist I have been assigned to date. I truly look forward to dental visits- how many people can say that?

The whole Bayshore Dental team is phenomenal! Dr. Bollinger, Rachel, Anna and Nancy, at the front/billing desk, have all taken excellent care of my dental needs for seven years, so far. Dr. Melwani and the staff are so wonderful and nice. I feel as though they do go out of their way to provide good quality dental services instead of trying to sell a ton of unnecessary dental products like some other practices do. Appointments have always been on time. Parking is plentiful and free. Also love the welcome gift with a mug and dental goodies. The office is near Fashion Island, so the location is very convenient for running errands as well!

You won't find a more friendly, yet professional environment. I have especially appreciated that they respect appointment times. You will not wait more than a few minutes at most. I have been a patient for 20+ years and have never had a negative experience.
