Dentistry is a unique blend of art and science. In order to produce aesthetically pleasing results, a dentist must have a keen sense of what looks good and what must be done to achieve these results. Dr. Kachorek displayed a talent for art early on in life. In addition to his artistic abilities, he was also a hardworking child with a propensity towards achieving his goals. In high school, he discovered his love for biology. A natural combination of his artistic aptitude and scientific interest was dentistry.
Earning his bachelors degree in biology and then continuing on to dental school at the University of Detroit, Dr. Kachorek dedicated himself to his studies. After a 6 month associateship, he opened his own practice in 1984.
Dr. Kachorek is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is an advocate of continuing education to maintain the standards of excellence in his field. He is currently working towards his Masters in the Academy of General Dentistry. This is an accreditation earned by less than 1% of dentists nationwide.
Lori joined Baypointe Dental in October of 1985. She has been instrumental in the contribution and growth of the practice. Lori is constantly learning new ways of communicating, and firmly believes in being a constant student of life. She is very passionate about becoming a master communicator and is the pulse of Baypointe Dental. She is a graduate of the Anthony Robbins Masters University and a Certified Law of Attraction Coach from the University of Holistic Theology. She also is a Certified Yoga teacher. All of these accomplishments go hand in hand with the philosophy of our practice, which is to treat each patient as a whole: mind, body, and soul. Lori tries to make a difference in the life of each patient and works hard to make each person feel much better when they leave than when they arrived. Some fun things Lori likes to do outside of work are travel, golf, reading, and of course, Yoga.
Denise joined us at Baypointe Dental in 1999 and graduated from Baker College in 2003. She loves pouring her heart and soul into her patients well-being, caring for their teeth, mind, body, and spirit. She is enthusiastic about fitness, personal growth, music, and new endeavors of all kinds. Denise is now, and always will be, an avid Beatles fan.

Been going to Baypoint dental for 34 years and I just love them!!! They do great work on my teeth and the staff Is always friendly and helpful!!!

By far the worst dentist office I have ever been too. These people are scammers, I got a crown put in here a while back , then got Invisalign done too. My crown fell off a week ago and that's when I went in to get it recemented. The same day I got it put back in the crown fell off again but this time I swallowed it. I went back in to see how much it would be to get a new crown and they said $1300 and also lied and said they never put that crown on to begin with. No discount no nothing even though it's their fault I lost my crown because it was not installed correctly. Save your money and go somewhere else. I spent over 10 grand on my teeth at this place and they are still crooked after 2 years of Invisalign. My name is martin hermiz

I am generally terrified of dentist visits, Dr. MaKayla Reid and the staff made me feel extremely comfortable during my appointment yesterday. She was super friendly and made me laugh several times which really made the experience a lot easier for myself. I could not be more thankful for the excellent job they did and I am a lot less anxious for my upcoming visits.

I've have never had a better experience at a dentist. Dr Reid made me feel so comfortable after letting her know the dentist makes me nervous. I will never go anywhere else!

Dr. Reid and the entire staff at Baypointe Dental Care are more than amazing!! The entire team if kind, caring and the epitome of professional!! Totally wiped away years of anxiety and built up of the dentist all in one office visit. Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!!

Long story short I had about 8 cavities (yikes). My first 4 were done by Dr.Kachorek and the rest were done by Dr. Reed. Both doctors were extremely thorough, and listened to my needs and concerns. Even the nice lady at reception was always asking about how I felt after my appt to make sure i was always comfortable. I will always recommend Baypoint Dental. Thank you for making a scary situation tolerable.

I selected a dentist two years ago that was a huge mistake; time to change. I interviewed at BayPointe Dental last month an was overwhelmed, everyone was friendly, helpful, very professional, facility's were clean an organized. I was examined, five year discussion followed, extremely clear an understanding. Two weeks later I had double lower crowns preformed by Dr. Reid an assistant. Procedures were outstandingly perfect, from start to finish. Britney at desk was very informative, dental plan's, financing, scheduling etc. I have found a place I've been missing in my life for years.

Dr. Reid is amazing! I tend to be pretty anxious at the dentist office, as I have not had the best luck with dentists over the years so when I met Dr. Reid I was SO relieved! She's personable, professional and extremely knowledgeable. Also and most importantly, very gentle! The numbing shots have always hurt at dentists, but somehow she even makes those not nearly as bad, can hardly feel it happening!! She keeps me informed on what's going on so I'm not sitting there wondering "how much longer?" She's taken care of cavities, root canal and my Invisalign! All things I had put off because I was scared of the dentist! I could go on and on with praise for Dr. Reid! With that being said, ALL the staff at Baypointe Dental are great! From her assistant to the receptionist! All are accommodating, friendly and professional! This office is 40 minutes from my home but Id'd travel even further if that's where Dr. Reid and staff will be!! Thank you Baypointe Dental team!

The welcoming of the staff and the atmosphere in the sitting area was so warm I totally forgot to fill out my questionnaire. That's how organized and professional the dental clinic staff are. I have been coming here for years and will continue to do so in spite of the hour or more travel to get here. The staff is amazing. I have a genuine fear of dental work but it has never been an issue when I come here. I am comforted and feel like family every time I walk in the door. My teeth have been healthy and I have never needed major dental work and I know it is all due to the amazing care I receive with every visit.
