Since 2010, our orthodontists, Dr. Thuy Nguyen and associates, and team have been stoked to offer excellent orthodontics in Abbeville, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, New Iberia and New Orleans, Louisiana. To better serve our diverse community, our team collectively speaks English, Spanish and Vietnamese. My first experience was pleasant. I was examined by a female orthodontist who was very thorough. She made me comfortable with Bayou Braces. Unfortunately, my son's and I didn't get braces at that moment. When I went in for my second consultation, there was a male orthodontist there. I was sold on the $1 down and the lady that processed us convinced me to have the braces put on that day. This visit was not as professional as the first. One of the girls bust in the room where i was sitting saying that she would not put my sons braces on, although he had been cleared by Louisiana Dental. The orthodontist did not do a full examination and he wouldn't listen to me. He kept saying that I had a gap and I kept trying to explain that there was a tooth there. He never acknowledged the tooth. I honestly think that my braces on my top teeth are not on correctly. I guess I'll find out when I go back for my follow up. And as the white girl was telling me what I can and cannot eat, she told me that I couldn't eat "hot cheetos" and that I could eat chicken to help with the soreness. I haven't figured out the difference between "hot cheetos" and "cheetos". Can I eat one and not the other? And why chicken? What if I was vegan? This place is advertised all over Q93, meaning you're trying to reach a certain demographic. After my experience, I kinda wish I would've just paid the bigger down payment and let Louisiana Dental install our braces.

I love bayou braces. They were very helpful and kind. They worked with to get a payment plan that was good for me. I would recommend bayou braces to anyone.

Dr. Tien changed my life! I walked in needing a retainer but I was unsatisfied with my teeth. Immediately she stepped in and started going to work and literally I am in love! She is so nice and genuine. I absolutely loved her! Please go see Dr. Tien!

They left a wire sticking out on my cheek and I can't do nothing like eat it's Also, Leaving like a wire hole on my cheek.

Everyone is always so kind and so professional when we visit. They are great with my young children and have always been so respectful. We are greatly appreciative of Bayou Dentistry and their staff.

Great, wonderful caring dentist! The staffs are very accommodating and will always notify you of all the treatments or procedures prior to your appointment. The doctor will then again explain the process to you in which you can understand and get your feedback before proceeding.

I'm, Carolyn is thankful for Bayou Braces for many reason it is doing a great job on correct my smiles in many way and I'm very satisfied and will be willing to let other know about my experience along with my other family member that is using there also, well please and if you want the best, try Baton Braces and you want be disappointed ! Hi, When Bayou Braces 1st opened in Metairie and in NO east with the original owners/ staff the service was good. I was a customer for 2 years . Now you have to call 6-8 times to make an appt. you are placed on hold until you hang up and then. told by the office staff to text them. The new staff with Heidi and another caucasian short person with eye glasses talk down to customers. I am now going to a reputable Dentist Office that specialize in aligners. Horrible Service and Staff! Don't do it!

Only thing I did not like is I did not get my shirt and the last person who tighten my braces did not adjust them right. But other than that no problems wonderful customer service

Horrible customer service...NOE location appointment was scheduled & confirmed for 1pm when I arrived the receptionist pretended she could not locate my name when she finally did she told me my appointment was for 2pm and to return at 1 45...I requested leave from work and drove a great distance for the appointment and also had other Dr. Appointments scheduled for this day ...no consideration for the patient s time...& Someone called later in the day to reschedule the appointment...I responded "no thanks"
