This place has steadily declined over the years. I have been coming here since I was a child and have recently decided to switch offices due to lack of communication and accountability. The office is grossly mismanaged and has no regard for patients' time. I have had several appointments cancelled at the literal last moment due to scheduling issues and staff callouts. This last time I was canceled twice in a row without any consideration due to a hygienist calling out. The first time I understood and was fine to reschedule but the day of my rescheduled appointment (after I moved my own schedule around for the second time) I was canceled for the same issue and the office had no solution for me but to reschedule for a third appointment.

Someone called and confirmed my appointment for 11am and when I arrived they said oh it's for 11:45 am. Horrible customer service at the front desk.

The pediatric dentist is awful. Save yourself the trouble and find another dentist to visit. She is rude, her staff is rude and office management lie and are overwhelmed.

i've been going to this location for years, and the last time i went, i threw in the towel. i had gone in for an emergency appointment because of a toothache. the doctor i saw didn't even check the tooth i had pain in, only asked for x-rays and told me what i already knew. then he just told me i needed my wisdom teeth taken out, and that was that. i was confused when he didn't look at the tooth that was causing the ache, but i thought he knew what was best. he obviously didn't. i went to the place they referred me to in order to remove my wisdom teeth, and it's also under DHA. they told me i DIDNT HAVE any wisdom teeth. mine haven't even started to grow in yet. find better dentists!

Horrible service, they can careless if you are in pain. They just collect money from the insurance and that's it!!! Horrible staff in the back too!! They didn't even look at the tooth, my father hasn't been sleeping days. We had to just throw in the towel after awhile thinking the service might get better. Again, they are just after your money! The front desk staff are fine and semi helpful.

There is always a long wait. There are not enough chairs for people to wait. You need a mask or you will be sent home to get one. They charge 3% extra on the use of credit cards. Hard to get anyone on the phone at times. The dental assistants are pleasant. They do most of the work while back there with x-rays and cleaning. My cleaning the first time I was here was excellent and thorough (male) the second time it took 2minutes (female). I even asked why was the cleaning so fast? She said that's how it always is and that it took longer than 5minutes (it did not, it took more time trying to get an accurate reading for my BP, which I have never had taken before a cleaning in my life and it kept reading error). Not impressed and very upset after waiting 2hours. I could not even speak with the doctor as they said they were busy and could make another appointment if I wanted. After waiting 2hours. I had concerns regarding my teeth no one addressed. I waited 2hours for my appointment and was literally under care for a grand total Of 10minutes with x rays. Insulting. Avoid this place at all costs. No tooth brushes or tooth paste given at the end. My appointment was at 10:10 and I left the office at 12pm. My employer automatically put me with this office but come open enrollment I will be changing offices.

Our entire family has been using there service for years. Now that they change ownership is hard to get in contact with them through the phone. My husband and I we recently had a cleaning and now they are charging us for Bitewings. Never before they charge us for anything. True, now the service, we don't have to wait soloing to be called, and the staff is more professional.

I would give a 0 but that's unfortunately not possible. Very rude staff and don't know how to properly handle children. Very little people in this establishment are respectful and overall kind. their staff is disrespectful to autistic children as well. NEVER AGAIN WOULD I COME HERE.(don't recommend it either)

The New owner and the new Dr she is very arrogant she has a mean personality. Talks down to you. She is overwhelmed and hustle to finish the job hurting you. She is very mean to her staff, worst place you can't walk in with an emergency you have to make abd appointment even if you are in pain they cannot help you without an appointment. Would not recommend them. Dr Mike was the best not this mean woman.

This practice never answers the phone and is always negligent, spreading misinformation. They love wasting peoples time and money. Worst service ever ! I would not recommend this dentistry.

Giving 1 start is actually a compliment bc it should be zero . The worst of the worst ! I was sitting here for almost 2 hours bc their system is flawed and my benefits were "inactive" . They argued me down as if they were 100% sure. Well, ironically, I work in HR and manage benefits lol . I gave them proof that I was active , including connecting them with the dental provider. They questioned who was on the phone instead of calling themselves . They have booked appts with me and have not put it in the system . When I come on those days, they inform that no appt was taken . The office manager admitted that it has happened to others before and seemed flustered when she realized what she said . The reps are not the same PRE-COVID , barely knowledgeable and have terrible attitudes. DO NOT COME HERE ! I only came here because it was a family environment but the new workers are clearly overworked and apparently extremely unhappy . They've told me to pay a certain amount and months later, they told me I owe a hundred dollars . They are all over the place and disorganized ! Update: They we're putting in my old address all along in the new system . Never asked me or confirmed my address . I've told a rep my address changed prior to his. It's honestly sad bc the front desk reps prior to COVID were so bubbly and actually enjoyed their jobs . Clearly, an HR presence is missing.

This place is the worse place ever after 2 years I haven't visit a dentist came for a cleaning and check up. I was told I had a cavitie wich it never bothered me at all. Now I have the worst pain ever omg

Today early in the morning I called due to a dental emergency swollen jaw, gums, spreading rapidly and excruciating pain. Clearly I have a very bad tooth infection. I call in advance to let them know about my emergency they said "We're Booked" how's Monday Today is Thursday and they expect me to wait till Monday with a Bad Swollen Jaw . YET ON THEIR WEBSITE IT STATES "Do I need to see an emergency dentists in Bayonne? If you are experiencing sudden and chronic tooth pain, or if you have sustained trauma to your teeth and surrounding tissues, you may need to see an emergency dentists. Even if you do not currently have a dental emergency, it is important that your dentists be capable of treating you quickly in the event that an emergency does arise. What should I expect from my emergency dental appointment? Urgent problems that threaten the health of your teeth or leave you in pain should not be ignored. You can expect to be seen by your emergency dentists quickly and without an appointment though it is recommended that you call your dentists's office if possible before you arrive. Honestly disgusted and disappointed with this Dentist Office. Don't bother calling here if you have a Dental Emergency all you're doing is wasting your time.

The ridiculousness of how hard it is to make an appointment here is beyond me. I've called so many times to make an appointment for FOUR people and every single time I give information then I get hung up on OR they just do not pick up. The wait time is not even tolerable. You all should fix your scheduling staff and how they handle the phones. For a person that has been going here for the last 10 years I will take my family to a more accommodating location.

This my second time at Bayonne Family Dental. I had the best experience ever. Everyone is so nice and helpful.They make you feel so comfortable.

The doctors are awesome. I highly recommended Brenda the dental hygienist to do your cleaning. She makes sure to get every bit of plaque off of your teeth. She's absolutely great
