My team and I have been together for almost 25 years, and when you walk into our office, you will see why. I take pride in being able to fuse the clinical with the personal. By doing so, Ive been able to achieve superior clinical results along with long-lasting patient relationships.

I was born and raised in Miami. I graduated from the University of Florida in 1974, and attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, where I finished in 1977. After graduation, I returned to Miami and started my dental practice on S.W. 8th street, where I met individuals who are still my patients today.

In 1984, I opened my doors on Brickell Avenue, and moved to Downtown in 1991. I have just finished construction on what I feel is my crowning achievement, my state-of-the-art dental facility at 224 S.E. 1st Street, in the heart of Downtown Miami.

I am a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the South Florida Dental Association. I feel the most effective way to stay abreast of the latest advances in dentistry is to attend the annual meetings of the various dental associations, including the ADA, the Hinman Dental Society in Atlanta, and the Greater New York Dental Meeting conferences. I continually upgrade my knowledge by attending postgraduate continuing education courses in cosmetic, restorative, implant, and sedation dentistry.

In my spare time, I enjoy boating, tending to my vegetable garden and fruit trees, and spending time with my family. I am active in the community, most recently by raising money for Walking 4 Friendship and Friendship Circle Miami, a volunteer organization that serves children with special needs, where my daughters have been volunteers for the past eight years.

Some people feel that implant dentistry falls under the category of cosmetic dentistry, but thats not entirely accurate. Althoughimplants certainly do improve ones appearance, their impact goes way beyond the flash of a perfect smile.

I was born and raised in Windsor, Canada, in a very close-knit Greek family. I attended the University of Windsor in Ontario, where I earned my undergraduate degree in biology. I chose a warmer venue for my professional schooling, and graduatedfrom Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in 2001. Icompletedmy fellowship in periodontology in 2004.

Staying on top of the latest developments in periodontics and implant dentistry means I constantly updatemy training. I attend multiple continuing education courses every year to keep my knowledge current and my skills honed withthe very latest and best implant techniques.

As a Certified Registered Dental Hygienist and self-proclaimed 'dental nerd,' I make our patients feel comfortable and educate them about the importance of dental health as a vital component of overall health. By demonstrating the links between their oral health and the rest of their body, I inspire them to commit to coming back for their regular dental health maintenance.

I have been Dr. Weiners lead hygienist for 25 years. Over the years, I have taken every opportunity to enhance my dental knowledge, communication skills, and clinical know-how, and I have been very successful in helping patients keep their smiles healthy. I love working with patients and translating clinical terms into everyday language so people can fully assess their treatment options and make the best decision for their clinical care. Its gratifying to know I am positively influencing their lives by improving their oral health.

The most rewarding part of my job are the long-term relationships I have with our patients, some for more than 20 years, and our team too. Weve been together forever and have watched each others kids grow up. Its gratifying to work in an environment that feels like family, and always has.
