Dr. Patricia Chiu received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Northwestern University Dental School. Upon graduating at the top of her dental school class, Dr. Chiu was accepted into the prestigious University of Michigan Orthodontics Program, where she received three years of specialty training and a post-doctoral Master of Science degree. In 2001, she returned to Boston where she grew up to begin her orthodontic career.
As a firm believer in evidence-based treatment, Dr. Chiu participated in research projects in dental and orthodontic schools. In September of 2005, she co-authored an article that was published in a major orthodontics journal, the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
Dr. Chiu is an active member of many leading dental and orthodontic organizations, including theAmerican Dental Association,American Association of Orthodontists, andthe Northeast Society of Orthodontists.
When not taking care of her patients, Dr. Chiu cherishes spending time with her husband and young daughters, Avery and Audrey. She is an avid reader, has a keen interest in architecture, and has visited almost twenty countries.

Ashely has a comprehensive knowledge of finance and insurance. She always tries her best to get the insurance companies to fulfill their obligations to our patients. Additionally, Ashely is a Certified Orthodontic Assistant so she can answer many clinical questions that you might have. In other words, Ashely is Wonder Woman.
Mary is a graduate of Massasoit Community Colleges Dental Assisting Program. She is a board-certified orthodontic assistant and dental assistant. Mary works alongside Dr. Chiu to ensure our patients have a comfortable, efficient orthodontic experience.Mary loves spending time with her cute little boy, Kellan, and her large extended family in the Norwood area.
Lori is a graduate of Massasoit Community Colleges Dental Assisting Program and has certification in dental assisting. She loves the one-on-one time she spends with our patients, helping them to achieve the beautiful smile they deserve. Fun fact: Lori has a photographic memory for names and faces.
Brianne is a Registered Dental Assistant. She works hard in making sure our patients are well taken care of. Brianne is also our resident artist who paints in her spare time and takes care of our office decorations.

My 15 year old son absolutely loves his new smile ! We had an awesome experience with Dr. Chiu and her staff. Dr. Chiu patiently explained the whole procedure and always happy to answer any questions we had. Dr. Chiu and her team are very friendly and professional! Highly recommended!

This is the BEST place to go get your braces done! Dr. Chiu and her staff are the best. I first had my braces done more than 10 yrs ago and now, it was my daughter's turn to have hers. I have to say, she really makes every $ count when it comes to making your pearly whites shine. Thank you so much for doing such an amazing job! All the best! Highly recommend!

Great experience with Dr. Chiu and her staff. The thought of getting braces as an adult was scary but I felt comfortable with them. Dr. Chiu and her team are friendly and informative. I'm thrilled with my results and I smile all the time now. Highly recommend!

My 13 year old son recently finished his treatment at Bay State Orthodontics in their Norwood office. We wanted to be sure we chose the right provider because he is missing a tooth and there were a couple ways to go with his treatment. We were impressed with this practice from our first meeting with Dr. Chiu and her staff and, having seen his incredible transformation, we know we made the right choice! He looks great and is so excited with the finish results! His twin sister is currently in treatment here and we are looking forward to the same outcome! Dr. Chiu and her staff are knowledgeable, and friendly, appointments are convenient and flexible, and the office is immaculate. We would, and do recommend Bay State Orthodontics to anyone who asks!!
