DR. Jany Diaz. Graduated from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. The History of this capable Dentist began in the island of Cuba several years ago when her family migrated to the United States of America seeking freedom and a better future for themselves and their families. Immediately after arriving to the Promised Land, they faced many obstacles. One of them being, learning a new language and starting Dentistry career in the US. The love for the profession far outweighed the difficulties she had to face to conquer her dream. Her achievements in college gave her the opportunity to apply to competitive Dental Scholarships. Doctor Jany Diaz was accepted at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in New Jersey, where she had the opportunity to thrive as an excellent student and professional.
During her four years of study she won the affection and sympathy of her professors, classmates, and patients, because she possessed the qualities of respects, courtesy, honesty, and wisdom. She accomplished all assigned tasks successfully and won several awards including Deans list and the Ethics Award. Upon graduating Dental School in New Jersey she decied to move back home to Florida, the state that opened the doors from her when she first arrived to this wonderful country. In the past she always dreamt of opening a dental office. One that reflects her beliefs and her personal virtues to give back to the community. That opportunity was granted to her and Bay Smile Dental was created.

Dishonest Office My friend has Medicaid with MCNA and has been going to this office for two years, every 6 months for her routine cleaning, this morning when she goes to her appointment at 9am, the receptionist tells her that she has to pay $30 for "irrigation" because the insurance does not cover it, and also tells her that this is a service that had always been provided to her, but she had never been charged for it, my friend tells the receptionist that she cannot pay for it and leaves the office. My friend calls me very sad to tell me, and I tell her to call her insurance to ask, the insurance calls the office and the receptionist says that this service was recently included in the practice and that the patient was called before her appointment to be notified of these new changes and the patient knew that she has to pay $30 to receive the services. It is understood that an office changes its services when it deems convenient, but at least, for consideration, it must let its patients know before the patients arrive the office for the appointment. The dishonesty of this office is inexcusable, when the insurance called them to find out what was going on, because they never called my friend to let her know that her routine cleaning would now cost her $30, even though she has Medicaid. **** Response to the Owner's response **** I'm not attacking the business and I'm not defaming your office, I'm just saying what really happened to my friend, as she doesn't speak English. I'm very informed of the situation, she never received a call to confirm the appointment, she have saved the office number, and she had no missed call or voicemail. Also, she was told this morning that this service have been always provided to her at no charge, and the office told the insurance representative that this is a new service. This is the entire and real situation! I have not mentioned that you are a bad practice, I have only expressed that you changed your services, and without been notified a Medicaid patient, tried to charged $30 at the time of the visit, that is not fair to the patient.

The best dentist! I did a deep cleaning today Friday the 29th and the service and attention was awesome! The dentist and staff are very professional I'm looking forward to the next visit Awesome experience once again for the second time the doctor & staff finally finished the other half of the deep cleaning along with the fillings :-) very professional and patient I really do appreciate making me feel comfortable
