Dr. Ramez Satar attended UC Berkeley for his undergraduate degree in molecular and cell biology in 2002 before continuing on to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine for his Doctor of Medical Dentistry, which he earned in 2007. He is a member of Golden Key International Honor Society for academic achievement at UC Berkeley.
'I bought this practice two years ago, in May 2015. The previous dentist and owner was my personal dentist, as well. She inspired and encouraged me to become a dentist. In May 2015, she retired and transferred the practice to me. I have been practicing dentistry for ten years now.'
'As a dentist, I enjoy the interactions and relationships I 've developed over the years. I see my patients as people first and like getting to know them, their lives, their stories, their families, and establishing long-term personal relationships. I am fortunate to have many patients that have referred their friends and families to my practice, making me part of the community.
I particularly enjoy the technical aspects of dentistry. I am a stickler for accuracy and I take pride in work done well. Dentistry comes with its share of challenges and I like to take up and overcome these challenges, keeping the patients best interests in mind. My goal for every patient is to get the best outcome long-term improvement in their dental appearance and overall improvement in their oral health.'
'I was born in Kiev, Ukraine. I speak fluent Russian, Farsi, and a bit of Spanish. I graduated from UC Berkeley in 2002. In 2003, I moved to Boston, MA to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine from which I graduated in 2007 with the DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree. For the past ten years, I 've been living in San Ramon, California.
I enjoy playing tennis and soccer. I also like to play chess. I consider myself a history buff. On the weekends, I like to explore the food and culture of the beautiful Bay Area with my wife. I give presentations to a senior group, educating its members on oral hygiene.
Originally from Mumbai, India Dr. Nangoli Satar obtained her BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) at one of India's top dental schools, MR Ambedkar Dental School in Bangalore, India in 2000. She then went on to achieve her DDS from UCSF (University of CA, San Francisco) School of Dentistry in 2006. Dr. Nangoli also has extensive training in Lumineer (veneers) and Invisalign clear braces.
To maintain my commitment towards providing the highest quality of dental care, I've been actively taking continuing education to further advance my knowledge. I particularly enjoy the field of esthetic dentistry and strive towards staying current to keep up with the recent advancements.
I had a passion for dentistry even prior to becoming a dentist, as a pediatric patient. I always enjoyed my dental visits and admired my dentist. I wanted to grow to be one myself. I wanted to be a dentist who had the ability to put a patient at ease.
My passion and love for dentistry only grew once I started practicing. I love everything about my job, from the gratification of helping patients relieve their pain, overcome their dental phobias and anxiety to giving them that life-changing smile that can make a profound improvement in their lives.
I love the everyday challenges that come my way and enjoy the warm and friendly relationships and rapport I've developed with my patients over the years. I genuinely love the art and science of dentistry and am glad to deliver quality and compassionate work to my patients every day.
I enjoy cooking and baking for my family and friends and love to experiment with different cuisines. I love yoga and when I do read its usually self-help and motivational material to keep me inspired. I'm a little bit of a singer, dancer, and crafter when I do find the time to indulge!

Dr. Ramez Satar is great. Fast but absolutely thorough. Dr. Sayra has a great demeanor- I love chatting with him. Dr. Nasreen Nangoli Satar is equally skilled and the sweetest person. This office met and exceeded my expectations. Thank you!

Excellent expertise and customer care. Both dentists have worked on my teeth. Both were excellent! I have never had better dental care....truly. I've had a few different dentists in my lifetime, and this office is the best experience I've had. They have excellent skill and care. They are most importantly affordable and honest. If you are looking for a dentist or a better dentist.....this is a tremendous option.

Both dentists have provided me with the best care possible. I do not have a fear of dentists but I will add that after dealing with mediocre dentist's in the past, I can say this place hasn't left me with a bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended). I have absolutely not complaints! Bay Hill Dental is exceptional!

I found this dentist on Groupon and am so glad I did. My daughter has had to get quite a bit of work done, from the the front desk to the hygienist as well as dentist, they are all great to work with. No one likes to go to the dentist and these guys make it an enjoyable experience!

Not sure if the GroupOn deal is a new thing for this office but I'd say avoid it if you're like me - newly off your parent's insurance but hoping to score a simple dental cleaning deal and continue taking care of yourself (I have gone to the dentist's every 6 months for most of my life). The visit itself was nice at first, but then I happened to notice on the schedule that they labeled me as "GROUPON!!!" which is definitely weird. I figure this had something to do with why they ended up not doing a dental cleaning at all, but just tried to make me pay $600 for a deep clean. When I told them I didn't have that kind of money (I bought dental services off of GroupOn, come on), they just said maybe you can try the payment plan. When I said I'll have to think about it, they basically just kicked me out. They did not clean my teeth AT ALL. Thank goodness Groupon gives refunds. I understand that these deals can't cover everything, but when you feel like a dental office is comparable to a timeshare experience and the staff changes their attitude with you that quickly, something is definitely wrong.

Super friendly staff. Quick appointments and good referral process if you require endodontist. Very helpful front office admin. I am glad I found this office. I had some urgent tooth issues and they helped me out a lot in no time.
