Dr. Alexis J. Herring, originally from Fairfax, Virginia, received her Bachelor of Science degree from George Mason University in 2013. She went on to obtaining her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in 2018. She was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, which is the highest level of achievement that dental students strive for. Upon graduating dental school, she completed her endodontic specialty training at Case Western Reserve University where she received a Master of Science degree and Endodontic Specialty certificate.
Dr. Herring has a passion for community outreach and has participated in several Missions of Mercy projects, mission trips to Treasure Beach, Jamaica with the Christian Dental Society, the Lessons in a Lunch program and so much more. She is an active member of the American Association of Endodontist and the American Dental Association.
Through high quality endodontic treatment, she is committed to improving her patients quality of life and comfort. Her ability to show empathy and compassion toward her patients makes them feel at ease, fostering a pleasant and comfortable treatment experience.

Dr. Taylor was exceptional. He appeared knowledgable and skilled. He maintained concern for my comfort throughout the procedure. I would definitely recommend him for a root canal. I am so glad I did not go across the bridge as my previous dentist recommended

The customer service was excellent. I wasn't pleased about my payment though. Believe me if She would have done something I wouldn't mind the payment but I got my mouth numb and x-rays for 280.00

From the moment I entered the office until I left I felt well taken care of. Dr. Taylor and his assistant were wonderful and their expertise could not have been better. Dr. Taylor lead me through the whole process for my root canal. He spoke with his assistant as he worked through the stages of getting the root canal repaired. Although I don't know the lingo used between Dr. Taylor and assistant as they conversed, I could tell we were moving along to the finish line. I felt a part of it which helped me to relax. I would recommend Dr. Taylor and staff for an excellent referral. I feel blessed to have had such a good experience with my root canal.

My first experience at Bay Endodontics was fantastic. Dr. Herring and her staff were so accommodating, caring and kind. They got me in for an emergency appointment right away and gave me a very thorough consult with X-rays and diagnostic tests and was able to quickly identify my problem.

Dr. Herring is absolutely wonderful. She completed my molar root canal and I haven't felt pain after the treatment. Everyone is so nice, from the time I called to make the appointment, check-in and check-out. Highly recommend!!!
