Dr. John C Collias provides various cosmetic and reconstructive dental procedures with an emphasis on extensive full mouth rehabilitation procedures at his state-of-the art Panama City office. Dr. John C Collias's patients come not only from the entire Gulf Coast, but also travel from many States in the US to his office to have him provide them with some of the finest dental care in the World.
Dr. John C Collias has successfully rehabilitated thousands of patients with partial and/or total edentulism (absence of teeth) as a result of illness, age, tragic accidents or poor oral health, helping them to not only enhance their dental health, but their self esteem and confidence too.
In 1992, Dr. John C Collias graduated from the University of Tampa, with a B.S. Degree in Business Management. He became a PADI Scuba Instructor while in school. He spent the next several years teaching all over the World. He has certified over 10000 people in the art of diving. Realizing his strong desire to help others improve their quality of life through their dental health, Dr, John C Collias completed a B.S. in Microbiology with a B.S. in Molecular Chemistry at the University of North Carolina. He graduated Suma Cum Laude. He was a teaching assistant and research chemist for University of North Carolina and Duke University. He went on to the University of Pacific in Pacific Heights, San Francisco where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S.) in 2000. He was consistently within the top 5 students during all clinical treatment phases. After graduating from the University of the Pacific, Dr. John C Collias received his Board Certifications in California, Florida as well as The Turks and Caicos Islands. He has spent most of his professional time post certification practicing and studying the art of comprehensive general dentistry. He enjoys using his greater than three decades of teaching experience to educate his patients on all aspects of general, surgical and cosmetic dentistry.
Dedicating his career to the advancement of Cosmetic, Restorative and Implant Dentistry. Dr. John C Collias's passion for Dentistry led him to further pursue training with some of the worlds most prominent Dental Specialists. Dr. John C Collias completed one-year Residency program in Implant Surgery, under the supervision of world-renowned Dentist, Researcher and Professor, Dr. Edward Mills. He received training from the Medical College of Georgia. It has given Dr. John C Collias the ability, expertise and specialized knowledge of implants and periodontics, necessary for complex restorative treatments and making him one of the few highly qualified and truly multi-disciplined Aesthetic and Implant Dentists the country. He is currently an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. John C Collias loves spending time with his family. In addition, he enjoys numerous hobbies. He enjoys World travel with his family, surfing, fishing, scuba diving, golf, flying and all aspects of home improvement.

After paying for Invisalign upfront they basically forgot to tell me my trays were ready. After a month of patiently waiting I asked for an update and they said it happened to be ready the day of me calling. Then I checked the Invisalign tray package and the date was like three weeks before I had called. So they somehow forgot to let me know my trays were ready even after paying 4k upfront. Also, they charged my insurance for 8k even though my treatment was 6k which is kinda fraud.

We are so grateful to Dr. Collias and his amazing and genuine staff! We had a family member visiting and needed emergency dental care - on a holiday weekend. I called 5+ dentists in the PC/PCB area on a Sunday evening and only Dr. Collias returned my call. From the moment he called us back (~15 minutes), we had the absolute best experience. He was able to replace her lost teeth and made my aunt feel absolutely comfortable and cared for. Jessica, his office manager was so compassionate and caring! We don't remember his dental tec's name, but she was also kind, caring, and professional. The entire experience was so seamless, we cannot recommend Dr. Collias and his entire staff more.

New in the area and had tried another dentist and it was a disaster. Horrible. My daughter had went to Bay Dental Center and said he reminded her of our dentist from home. I made my appt. For a cleaning, they were great! Polite, made sure I was comfortable. I broke a tooth 2 weeks later and have high anxiety from a previous bad experience years ago. I have to medicate to keep from shaking out of the chair. Dr. Collias was wonderful! I had medication to take the edge off and he took his time, made sure I was good and numb before injections and asked if I was ok during the whole procedure. He did a fantastic job. His staff was so polite and concerned. Thank you for being my new hometown Dentist.

I have been seeing Dr. Collias for a few years now, he always remembers me and is so kind and welcoming. We had been working on my TMJ and jaw pain when he suggested Botox to relax the muscles. Well I didn't listen and put it off, then I couldn't close my jaw! This was during the Covid-19 shutdown but he got me in as it was an emergency. When I tell you that after 2 treatments I have 0 pain most I absolutely mean it. No pain, no clicking... after 10+ years of pain it's amazing. I am so thankful to Dr. Collias for suggesting it, and being willing to learn and try new treatments!

I had a wisdom tooth extracted. The doctor and the whole staff were polite and professional. They made sure I was comfortable through the whole process and got it done quickly and with a minimal amount of discomfort. I highly recommend Bay Dental Center.

I have terrible anxiety over going to the Dentist because of a really bad previous experience by another Doctor. I explained my fears to Dr. C and his staff. They did everything in their power to make me comfortable and help me to relax before my extraction. There was no pain and the extraction itself went very quickly. I was incredibly surprised. Though I now live in Alabama, I intend to make all future Dental visits down to Panama to see the folks at Bay Dental.

The Doctor and staff are very friendly, kind, patient and understanding. I have always had severe anxiety with having dental work done, but they were able to provide the best experience I have ever had. Even when I started having an anxiety attack in the chair, they made sure I was as comfortable as possible. They truly care about their patients here. I can not recommend them enough.

Amazingly down to earth Dr. and staff. Makes going to the dentist almost a pleasure. Service and pricing way better than the chain dentist my insurance recommended and when I had an emergency these guys were the only ones in town willing to make room for me even though I was not a current customer. I changed dentists for my entire family I was so impressed with the customer service.

I was terrified to have my two root canals done, seriously almost didn't go. I'm really glad I did! Dr. Collias and Brittany were truly amazing! Not only was the doctor hilarious, but he took his time and made sure he had everything right! He made sure I was comfortable during the procedure!
