Dr. Baxter graduated from Baraboo High School in 1979. He decided to follow in his father's footsteps to become a dentist. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Northwestern University Dental School in 1988. This is particularly notable because he is a third generation Northwestern Dental School graduate in the family. Both his grandfather, Glenn, and his father, Donald, received their degrees in 1923 and 1953 respectively. After graduation Dr. Terry joined his fathers practice and they enjoyed a great working relationship until Dr. Donald's retirement. Dr. Terry began a new era when he relocated the practice to a new building in West Baraboo. Nearly three decades later his philosophy of providing dental excellence whenever possible and treating every patient with dignity and respect remains the same. He is particularly proud of his wonderful staff who all work hard to make each patients visit a positive experience.
Dr. Terry and his wife, Margie, were born and raised in Baraboo. They love the area enjoying it's many venues. They feel privileged to have been able to give a similar experience to each of their three children. Dr. Terry relishes spending his free time outdoors in the woods, his yard, or on one of the areas many beautiful lakes; but most importantly he loves spending time with his family.

Very friendly staff, and very accommodating to fit in appointments that are convenient to our schedule. We have been happy with Baxter Dental's services.

He is awful!! Price gouges, waaaaayyyyy over priced, don't know how he keeps patients. I have never in my life had a dentist charge so much for a filling or tooth pulled and doesn't give you the price up front. Would not recommend this dentist to anybody. The staff is not very friendly either. Don't go there, find another dentist that is honest.

What a fabulous place! The staff is so professional and so pleasant to deal with. The doctor is great as well. I called with an emergency and was able to get in within the hour. I would highly recommend this dental office to anyone and everyone.

I am so pleased with the new dentures that I have from Baxter Dental. They fit perfectly and I have not even had a sore spot from the beginning. I also have been so pleased and impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of all the staff (and Dr. Baxter) at Baxter Dental. I cannot say enough. What a wonderful experience! Thank you!!

Baxter Dental saved my vacation! Shortly after arriving in the Dells with my family, I got a terrible tooth ache. I called several offices in the area but nobody could work me in as a new patient. Baxter Dental offered to help! They put me on their already busy schedule, worked me right in and quickly identified the problem. They fixed my tooth and managed my pain. They were so sympathetic, kind and very knowledgeable. They got me in and out in less than an hour and charged me a very fair amount! I would highly recommend this practice to anyone! They saved my vacation!!

Was not seen here, chose to look elsewhere after the individual answering calls answered one question, then as I was continuing to ask my next question responded "Ok, bye" and hung up the phone. Definitely left a very unpleasant first impression.
