Dr. Steven Baxter was born and raised in Wichita. He attended Wichita State University, receiving a bachelors degree in nursing. He practiced nursing in the newborn intensive care unit at Wesley Medical Center for eight years. Following this, he attended Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, where he earned his DDS degree.
Dr. Baxter has been creating beautiful, healthy smiles for his patients since 2005. His goal is to provide optimal preventive and restorative care in an environment where patients always feel safe and welcome.

I travel to Maize just to visit Baxter Dental Associates. Every time I come, Mikel makes me feel welcomed and has always been the kindest. The doctor makes sure all of my needs are met before I leave. The establishment is clean and trusting. I am satisfied with all my dental work.

My wife and I have been going to Baxter Dental for about four years. We have always been treated extremely well by their friendly staff. Dr Baxter is very personable and knowledgeable. He is always willing to fully explain any procedure as well as underlying causes in as much detail as you want. I would highly recommend them!

I'm always impressed with the staff and their genuine care for my well-being. While we hope to get that kind of help from the dentist, it is an extra blessing to have the dental hygienist and the office staff express their concerns for my well-being. Thank you Dr. Baxter.

Dr. Baxter is extremely knowledgeable in his field, and he makes it a point to communicate and educate his patients, all the while providing excellent clinical skills. All of his staff is extremely friendly, as well!

Their hygienist are not employees but contractors and if they do anything wrong the dentist does not stand behind their work and throws then under the bus. The woman behind the desk Lee is rude rude rude. If you are on medicare they double dip. They are unscrupulous!

I've been coming to Baxter Dental since I was a kid and they have always made me feel welcome and calmed my nerves. Everyone always remembers my name and gets excited when I come into the office. Their covid-19 precautions put my nerves at ease for my regular cleaning appointment. Coming here makes going to the dentist fun!

Dr. Baxter and all the staff are amazing. My whole have been patients for many years. We have moved away and still drive 30 minutes for all our dental care with this group. They are highly knowledge about the financial portion and always provide detail invoices and let us know what is covered and our cost. Its a judgement free and friendly environment and we will continue our dental care here.

I have been seeing Dr. Baxter and his team since 2010. My daughter would not go to another dentist she loved him and the staff until she moved. I trust him and his staff to take the best possible care of my teeth. They are all professional, very caring, and amazing at what they do. Lee always has a smile and can always help me with billing issues. I highly recommend this dental practice.

All the hygienists are very friendly and welcoming. Both the hygienists and Dr. Baxter are super helpful and informative with any questions and concerns. I'm glad I switched dentists. I would recommend Dr. Baxter to my friends!
