Dr. Baum has been setting the standard in outstanding orthodontic care in our area since 2004, creating thousands of healthy smiles for both children and adults. Dr. Baums extensive educational background, coupled with his vast experience and expertise, has resulted in him being recognized as an esteemed member of the orthodontic community. Dr. Baummaintains memberships in prestigious professional organizations such as the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists.
Born in North Haven, Dr. Baum has spent most of his life in Connecticut. Dr. Baum received his Bachelor of Science degree from Tufts University in Boston. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Medical Dentistry at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, and ultimately he received his Orthodontic Certificate and a Masters of Science at the University of Buffalo.
Dr. Baum and his wife, Shana, have two boys who are their absolute and cherished pride and joy. He, his wife, and his staff are all entrenched and active supporters of the community. Dr. Baum is an avid sports fan and participant. You can catch him in the winter at the hockey rinks with his sons or out in the water or on a tennis court in the summer. He is a huge hockey and football fan and loves all things Boston. As a big Red Sox supporter, he often finds himself in the minority surrounded by Yankees fans at the office, including most of the staff! Although he receives great enjoyment from his work, clearly the most rewarding part of the day are his interactions with his patients and seeing their smiles grow.

Dr. Baum and his staff have been great! On time visits, working with us on understanding all the financial pieces and contacting the insurance companies, as well as just being fun with the kids and providing incentives!

I am so happy with the result of my Invisalign! I just finished yesterday, and it made a really big difference. Everyone there was always so nice, lots of fun games to play, and even prizes! I would definitely recommend Baum Braces to anyone!

I had a tremendous experience with Doctor Baum and his team. I've had extensive dental work in the past and decided to get Invisalign at 30 years old to once and for all get the smile I've wanted. From the moment I consulted with Dr. Baum, I knew I'd be in good hands. They are incredibly professional and made sure to meet my timeline goal of getting the Invisalign compelled before my wedding date later this summer. Monica, Paulina and the entire team were all committed to ensuring I reached this goal. As far as Invisalign goes, I can't imagine a better experience than with Dr. Baum's team. I had an amazing experience at dr. Baum after having braces for 6 years and seeing little to no progress with my teeth I switched to invisalign with dr. Baum and saw more results in two months than I had with braces. Each checkup and visit everyone top down was kind and caring and genuinely was glad to see the invisalign was working. I would highly recommend for anyone wishing to see improvements in their teeth.

Is not just a work place the staff is amazing you walk in the receptionist make you feel welcomed and you feel like family not everyday you go to a place where you feel this way will I recommend them to someone yes I give them 5 stars because that's the highest number of stars that i can give I wish they were more So in the scale from 1 to 10 I will give them 100 give them a try you will be surprised how good they are Thanks to all the staff members

For the most part, we have been pretty pleased with Baum Braces. However, a few things that did not sit well with us. Our first child also used Invisalign through Baum's, and at the end, we were told he needed extra equipment which was never discussed previously and would be an extra charge. We opted not to do that. Also, this past week our second son had a scheduled appointment, which on their end was the wrong kind of appointment, so when we arrived they were not prepared with his new trays. It was a wasted appointment and we have to return again in a few days. They did accommodate my schedule, which was helpful.

Dr. Baum and his whole team are great! Not only are they wonderful at straightening teeth, they are also extremely patient and compassionate toward their patients. Our daughter has special needs and they are amazing with her.
