We literally watch kids grow up here, we see entire families, and it is so fun to develop these relationships. To see a kiddo who may have started seeing us for growth and development monitoring when they were seven get their braces off at 14 or 15 is pretty cool!

We see kids change, and adults, too. Some adults come in and want to either finally do something for themselves or they may be starting a new chapter in their life. Everyone has a story and we get to be part of that!

Orthodontics is about much more than just straightening teeth. It is about overall health, and the form and function of the entire facial complex, including the TMJ. My goal is to not only treat the teeth, but to set the patient up for a lifetime with a healthy bite.

I grew up watching my father practice orthodontics. I spent my summers working in his office doing sterilization and lab work. I love working with people and I love the healthcare field, so becoming an orthodontist was the only career I ever really wanted.

Additionally, I have specialized education in TMD in conjunction with orthodontics, having completed Roth Williams International and Roncone International PDS training. When diagnosing and treatment planning cases, it is important to look at the teeth and joint/TMJ as a cohesively functioning unit, paying close attention to the details. This additional training ensures patients finish with optimal oral health, as well as a smile they love.

Continuing education is a core part of how I practice. I regularly take post-graduate courses in order to stay at the forefront of the latest technological innovations and newest proven methodologies.

I was raised in Edwardsville and have lived in Glen Carbon since completing my orthodontic residency. My husband Ben and I met in dental school; he is a dentist here in Edwardsville. We have three awesome kiddos: Nolan is nine and loves all sports, especially hockey and baseball; Brynna is eight and loves gymnastics, singing, and volleyball; and Braelyn is six and loves gymnastics, soccer, and her baby dolls. We also have a goldendoodle puppy named Duke!

I also enjoy outreach and service to others. I have been part of the Junior Service Club for many years. This organization serves our community through a food pantry, helping families in need throughout the year, meals on wheels, and local projects.

They are all so talented and very caring. They really take time to get to know our patients and their families not because its part of their job description, but because they genuinely enjoy creating those relationships!

We have a great time with each other and this closeness shows in everything we do: it is important to all of us to work in a positive, upbeat environment, where we support each other in order to provide the best experience for our patients.

I enjoy having good relationships with our staff and working with them to keep our practice running smoothly. Thats important, as it means our patients and their families have pleasant visits and an exceptional treatment experience as they change their smiles!

My husband Kenny and I have been married for 35 years. We have a grown son, Brock, daughter-in-law Brittany, and a Scottish Terrier. Kenny and I love sports, especially Cardinals baseball and Alabama football, and we love the beach, too.

I love making new patients feel warm and welcome in our practice, and am happy when Im able to ease their fears over the thought of braces. I want every person who walks through our door to feel loved and safe. I strive to make their time here the best part of their day and especially love that I get to help people on their journey to a confident smile theyre proud to share!

My husband Shaun and I recently bought our first home, which we share with our fun, crazy, and loving Lab, Luna. Outside of work, we love watching St. Louis sports and attending Blues and Cardinal games. Im a big movie buff so I love a good, cozy movie night or binging on a favorite show. I also love being out in the country, traveling to new places, and time with family and friends.

I love connecting with our awesome patients and their families I love being able to watch each persons smile transform into something beautiful while keeping up with their activities and the big events going on in their lives!

My husband Ryan and I live in Wood River with our dog, Zoey. We spend our weekends riding our side-by-side, golfing, or staying home and binge-watching Netflix. We also love to travel and spend time with family and friends, attend St. Louis Blues games, and I love to try new recipes, too. Some of them turn out really tasty!

I am finally getting married in March 2021 after rescheduling twice due to covid. I am pregnant with my first son. I also have a stepdaughter who is 10. In my free time, I love being outdoors when the weather is nice but when it's cold you can catch me snuggled up on the couch watching tv or doing a puzzle.

My high school sweetheart and I have been married for almost 30 years. We have two adult children, as well as two Yorkshire Terriers. We love to travel and I love to do counted cross-stitching projects.

My boyfriend Brady and I have two cats, Theo and Athena. In my free time, Im either hiking or doing something crafty. I like to make signs, wreaths, and ornaments around the holiday time! Brady and I are planning a hiking trip in Iceland in March 2020 and Im SO excited! If Im not hiking or crafting, Im probably watching Netflix with Brady.

At your new patient exam which is complimentary well sit and talk, learning your goals and concerns, and discussing treatment. We will take digital images and scans, and Dr. Hite will perform a thorough exam. She will then design a treatment plan that addresses your clinical and personal situation, focusing on an approach thats efficient, comfortable, and will deliver a functional, stable bite, along with an incredible smile.

Dr. Hite will walk you through the proposed treatment, explaining everything in an easy to understand manner, and answering all of your questions. Then you decide when and how to proceed: this is your smile and we make sure you have the information necessary to make a knowledgeable decision!
