Dr. Bradley Broughton is the fourth generation of Broughtons to practice dentistry. In fact, the family has been practicing in the tri-state area since 1912. He is the newphew of James Broughton, DDS and Charles Broughton, DMD and the son of Bev Broughton, RDH. His wife, Dawn, is also an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant at Batesville Dental.
Dr. Broughton is a 1997 graduate of Batesville High School. In 2002, he obtained a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Biology and he earned a Master of Science Degree in Biology in 2004 from Purdue University Indianapolis. He graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2008 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree.
Dr. Broughton strongly believes in continuing education and brings the newest dental advances to Batesville Dental. He specializes in exceptional comprehensive dental treatment for the entire family, as well as cosmetic dentistry. He offers a wide range of dental treatment including: restorative fillings, crowns, inlays/onlays, partials/dentures, root canal therapy, Invisalign, Veneers, etc. He has also completed the Gordon Christensen Mentorship Program at the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry.
Dr. Cindywas born and raisedon thewest side of Cincinnati andgraduated fromMother of Mercy High School in 2007. She attended Ohio State University and receiveda Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2011 and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in 2015. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association and Cincinnati Dental Society.Dr. Cindy loves the hands on aspect of dentistry as well as getting to know her patients and watching families grow. Out of the office, she enjoys hiking, camping, gardening, working on her house and barbequing with family and friends. She is the oldest of three daughters and married her high school sweetheart in September 2015.
Dr. Terrence B. Roberts was born and raised outside of Muncie Indiana and graduated from Wes-Del High School in 2008. Right out of high school, he joined the United States Air Force and worked as an Armament Systems Specialist for the F-16 fighter aircraft. He attended Ball State University, where he met his wife Megan, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2015. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery with the Highest Distinction from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2020 and received the following awards and achievements:
Dr. Roberts is excited to join the Batesville community. In his free time, he enjoys working on his automobiles, supporting his favorite sports teams, fishing, and spending time with his family/friends.
Dawn joined the Batesville Dental team in 2008 and is also the wife of Dr. Brad Broughton. Dawn isour Expanded Duties Dental Assistant and office manager. What this means is that she is specially trained to place fillings in teeth after Dr. Broughton has prepared them. She has been employed in the dental field for over 25 years. She is a graduate of Connersville High School and received her certification as a EDDA from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1995. She enjoys taking care of her animals, exercising, and flower gardening.
Brittany joined the Batesville Dental team in April 2013 as a dental hygienist. She graduated from Batesville High School in 2006 before attending Indiana University. She completed the expanded functions dental assisting program at the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2009 then received her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Cincinnati in 2012. She has been working in the field of dentistry for almost 10 years now. Brittany resides in Batesville with her husband, daughter and son.
Lisa first started working at Batesville Dental as a sub dental hygienist in 2014. In January 2020, she joined our team permanently. Lisa graduated from Batesville High School in 1999. She then attended the IU School of Dentistry and graduated from the dental assisting program in 2001. After working as an expanded functions dental assistant for a few years, she went to USI and earned her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. Lisa lives in Batesville with her husband and three boys. She enjoys an active lifestyle and cheering on her boys at their many sporting events.
Dakota joined Batesville Dental in October 2020. He graduated from Franklin County High School in 2015. After high school he attended Ivy Tech Community College of Anderson to receive his associates degree in Dental Hygiene. Dakota currently resides in his hometown of Brookville. In his spare time he enjoys spending time outdoors whether it's hiking with his girlfriend, hunting, or playing a round of golf.
Bev first started working for Batesville Dental in 2013 as a sub hygienist & on a part-time basis. Bev joined the practice full-time in February of 2021. Bev has over 41 years of dental experience. She also was a dental assistant for 11 years. She graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1992 with a Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. Bev has over 30 years experience as a dental hygienist.
Delani joined our team in 2021. She is a graduate of South Ripley High school in 2017. She obtained her Bachelors Degree form University of Southern Indiana in Dental Hygiene. Delani lives in Versailles and enjoys spending time with her animals and family.
Judy has been a front desk receptionist at Batesville Dental since 2002. She graduated from Batesville High School and recieved an Associate Degree in Office Management from Ivy Tech. She has three children and five grandchildren. Judy enjoys reading, gardening, cooking and being with her family.
Michelle joined Batesville Dental as part of the front office team in 2019. Born and raised in Chicago, Michelle studied oral surgery and pathology at Layola University Chicago an has been passionate about her oral health care career for over 20 years. In her spare time, her other joys are her husband, two daughters (not forgetting about the two sons acquired along the way) and being Mimi to her first grandbaby Ava Louise.
Sara began working for Batesville Dental in July 2013. She graduated from South Dearborn High school in 2009. She received her certification as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2013. She lives in Harrison and inher free timeshe enjoys IU basketball, Colts football and spending time with her family.
Lee Ann joined the Batesville Dental team in June 2015. She is one of our Expanded Duties Dental Assistants. She has been employed in the dental field for over 28 years. She graduated from Batesville High School and received her certificate as an EDDA from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1988. She is married, has two sons and is a lifelong resident of Batesville.
Kyleah began working at Batesville Dental in 2018. She has been working in the dental field since 2012 and received her certificate as an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant in 2017 from Dental Careers Foundation of Connersville. Kyleah loves being a Mom to her son Kylar and spending time with her friends and family outdoors.
Dara joined Batesville Dental in the spring of 2021. She is a graduate of Franklin County High School in 2012. She received her certification as a dental assistant from Franklin Dental Assistant School in 2021. She resides in Metamora.
