Dr. Bates and his staff are amazing. The care is exquisite, they are comforting and accommodating. Truly the best dentist and place that I have ever been. I am always confident that they will care for me like true family. Great work and trustworthy with dental procedures. True Professionals!

I had three fillings done this morning by Dr.Bates using their new laser machine and it was amazing!!! I didn't have to get any shots or get numb at all. I always have a great experience with Dr.bates & his crew! I highly recommend them

I came to Dr.Bates after having an unpleasant dental experience and suffering chronic tooth pain. Dr. Bates and his team were very professional yet personable and investigated my situation, showed me what was going on and fixed my tooth the same day. I have no more pain! So grateful to find a dentist who is serious about his craft and cares about patients having a positive dental experience. The support staff were equally as impressive, professional and friendly.

I don't like going to the dentist. But this office made me comfortable from the get go. Everything was explained in detail. They did not rush me. The office is very clean and modern with state of the art equipment. All the staff were very welcome and courteous. And for a change in this day and age, everyone was cheerful and seemed to love their jobs. All precautions taken to prevent the spread of COVID. I can say it was such a pleasant experience I almost wanted to spend the rest of the day there! I said almost!

Dr. Bates is very good at his job and the only dentist I've been too where my mouth isn't in pain when I leave. He served in the army and did dental work on soldiers while he was in the service. So that tells me he's seen some nasty grills and knows how to treat most mouths for sure. So for veterans like myself I like supporting Veterans that are amazing at what they do.

I had suddenly developed an abscess in my lower jaw on Sunday 11/8/2020. My local Dentist had recently retired, and I was left searching for a Dentist while in a great deal of pain. Fortunately a friend of the family recommended Dr. Bates in Deer Park WA. Tuesday November 10, 2020 was my very first experience with Dr. Bates and his staff. After two days of pure misery I walked into Dr. Bates office. I was greeted by an amazing, highly professional staff. It started with Karen at the front desk who took all my information. It seemed like no time at all before I was escorted back By Atasha to a treatment room, x-rayed not only in 2D but 3D as well. Dr. Bates was not far behind. After a very prompt examination he explained all my options in great detail and clarity. Atasha working with Lauren worked up an estimate and general time frame for the plan of action. Shortly thereafter I was introduced to Cyndi their anesthetist. She proceeded to numb me quicker than I have ever experienced before in any other dental office. Minutes after that Dr. Bates was in and promptly performed the needed procedure then addressed all of my concerns. Karen made another appearance with the detailed plan of action in writing with itemized cost, and reviewed all of the details with me. I was out of pain, and had a long term plan of action before I ever left the treatment room. I can only describe Dr. Bates and his staff as professional, compassionate, and very detailed. I would like to take the time to especially thank Atasha, Karen, Lauren, and Cyndi. My experience could not have been better, and I highly recommend Dr. Bates DDS in Deer Park WA Thank you Dr. Bates, and a special thank you to all you staff.

First started going to dr. bates before he had his own office out in deer park and after our 1st experience my husband DID NOT WANT TO GO BACK! He refused service to my husband. I don't care who you are and what you look like, you shouldn't judge someone off of things you don't agree with. So we moved out of deer park for a year and a half for a job opptortunity...and decided to move back to deer park. So when we got back my husband had tooth pain and I liked Dr. Bates reviews so we thought lets try it again and see if you can get seen. He is the best in deer park from what I have been told. By a lot. However normally I wouldn't go back, but i was willing to try. I'm tired of wasting money on dentist who aren't doing a good job on our teeth. So when my husband went back and Dr. Bates went to look in his mouth, my husband was hesitant and when Dr. Bates asked what was wrong, my husband told him he didn't like him, and Dr. Bates knew why, and Dr. Bates apologized to my husband, and said that was the past and did the dental work. Now the issue is money. I am a very organized wife. I make all appointments for the house. I make sure I have the correct copays and if I'm not attending the appointment I make sure to send with the right copays! Not once, but twice now I have been sent bills for the amounts that I have already paid for. I have talked to reception and they want to tell me it wasn't paid. But i called and confirmed the total and it was suppose to be a 300 and some change appointment which included the back payment of 100$. Sent him with the money and they take the money and only credited 100$, then tell me that I am wrong and I don't know what I am talking about and then send me a bill for an already paid amount. This makes no since because basically what they did was let my husband have a free appointment(BUT IT WAS PAID) now I am tearing my house up for the receipt because this makes no sense. If this wasn't paid, why would you let your customer get the work done. No dentist has EVER let us go back without our co payment. I live paycheck to paycheck and with kids. We don't have extra money to waste. Seeing a dentist that isn't CHAS(low income), we have to save the money. So these aren't cheap dentist. But you pay for what you get and good work is what we got after dr. bates got over his discrimination moment. So money is now "LOST" because they have no record or it. If it wasn't paid he wouldn't have got service which is why there are signs that say payment is due at time of service. Now I have a bill that is going to go to collections because I refuse to pay again for the service that was already paid for. Already lost my job in February and have been home since due to covid-19 and it took forever to save for the 2 appointments that my husband had. I just want to know where the money went. Who accidentally "misplaced" this service fee. Because it wasn't My husband. I don't recommend this dentist if you don't look the part. Shady shady.

The BEST dentist and staff I have ever encountered. Always telling my friends and family about Dr.Bates. Very friendly, never hurts, always upfront and honest. Saved my husband from certain lost of teeth. Thia office always goes way beyond the call of duty. Thank you very much!

Excellent dentist, friendly staff and everything can be done under one roof! Made my crowns while I waited and was done! Need water? Chapstick? Warm blanket? They got you covered

Friendly, and great prices. Staff is always working to keep you pain free and comfortable with simple extras like a pillow or a protein shake. Monitor on the ceiling for watching a movie. What a great distraction.

I can't thank Dr. Bates and his staff enough for how they took care of my 8 year old daughter. She wasn't a patient of his but saw her anyway when her dentist couldn't fit her in for a same day appointment. She had a large cavity that had broken part of the tooth away and Dr. Bates fixed it the same day. The entire staff was kind, helpful and explained things very clearly.
