Dr. Sean Bates is a 1998 graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. Bates received further training in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in the United States Navy and practiced aboard the USS Enterprise for two years. Dr. Bates completed his orthodontic training at Case Western Reserve University and has been practicing in Minneapolis for several years. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Midwest Society of Orthodontists and the American Association of Orthodontists.

Our staff is uniquely trained and highly skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Our staff consists of team members with specialized training and multiple certifications, and each one of our team members has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

Dr. Bates was amazing and extremely nice. I haven't had braces for almost 8 years and when my bottom retainer fell out I was very concerned as my previous orthodontist has been retired for some time now. But with Dr. Bates, I just made an appointment and he fixed it for me in under 30 minutes. I was nervous because I'm bad with pain but he assured me it would be fine and was constantly checking in to make sure I was doing all right. ps if your bottom retainer falls off keep the wire!! it saves you about $100

I was a little scared because of the reviews but everything went well for me! Dr. Bates is very talkative and energetic. He explained everything I wanted to know. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I don't like the front desk lady.

The people here are very rude especially the front desk lady she need to change that attitude of hers they have zero patience with people all they want is ur money nothing else.!!!!!!!!!

Dr.bates is extremely rude and disrespectful. He has zero respect for his patients! The first day I came he was extremely rude to both me and my daughter. He needs to be held accountable for his actions . As far as the doctors, they are nice but need to be a little gentle on people when it comes to teeth. Dr bates seems to be more gentle to white people. I'm not from the U.S and I feel like he is disrespectful for that reason. Don't come here! Go to the other orthodontics. Other orthodontics are far more better and deserve you!!

Been looking for an orthodontist that was not too expensive.... that's when I found Bates Orthodontics. The price for my son's treatment was just right very affordable. The staff was great and we did not feel like we were rushed at our consult!! I truly recommend Bates he is very detailed and very passionate about the work and explanation of treatment and the best that the price was perfect!!!!

Been going to Dr.Bates since I was 19 years old. He's ALWAYS been nice and courteous. I referred family and friends and they will all say the same. At the age of 33 I needed adjustments to my smile and Dr. Bates did not skip a beat in all these years. Great work Bates Orthodontics

Asked a friend who worked on their teeth, they said Dr. Bates. I've gone there and my whole family has as well. Nothing but good things from this place. Bates is the best. He is extremely nice to diverse clientele.
