I had braces in college, while in the midst of my career exploration. I loved the atmosphere in my orthodontists office: everyone seemed to be happy and having fun! I was already leaning toward a career in healthcare and my braces experienceinspired and tipped me toward this path.
After practicing for more than ten years, I have no doubt I made the right decision. I love what I do, all of it, but especially the people I encounter and treat. I am happiest when I am connecting with others: making them smile, laugh, and know they are appreciated for who they are.
Seeing each persons transformation throughout treatment still fascinates and thrills me. I love watching children and adolescents experience their personal growth and maturation, which is often accompanied by a growing self-esteem and confidence during treatment. I also love working with my adult patients, giving each of them the smile theyve always wanted!
In order to deliver this level of care, he regularly seeks out continuing educational opportunities, including attendance at lectures, seminars, and conferences. This keeps him current on how new technologies and techniques can be applied to improve patient comfort, reduce treatment duration, and, most notably, achieve an ideal result without braces.
Dr. Bateman earned a military scholarship for dental school and graduated as valedictorian of his class. Following graduation, he served seven years in the U.S. Army, reaching the rank of Major. His time in the service included tours at Fort Sam Houston, TX and Fort Bragg, NC.
In addition to the continuing education he completes, Dr. Bateman also enjoys sharing his knowledge and teaching others. While in school, he tutored fellow students. Later, as Staff Orthodontist and Orthodontic Mentor to the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at Womack Army Medical Center, he was responsible for teaching Diagnosis and Treatment Planning to the resident doctors. Additionally, he provided lectures on Human Growth and Development to colleges at an Army-wide annual scientific meeting.
If hes not seeing patients, Dr. Bateman is most often found with family and friends. He enjoys water skiing and tubing at the family cottage on Sodus Bay, loves eating especially pizza and wings! and works off that food at the gym. He also likes playing chess, traveling, and attending Bills games.
Before moving to Rochester, Dr. Fox lived in Ann Arbor, Michigan where she received both her undergraduate in biochemistry and dental degrees from the University of Michigan. She practiced for five years as a general dentist and taught radiology and oral diagnosis. Dr. Fox continued her education by receiving a degree in orthodontics from the University of Illinois.
Dr. Fox stays abreast of the newest advancements in the field of orthodontics. She is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics and regularly participates in professional and educational programs. She now practices orthodontics exclusively in the town of Greece where she lives and works.
For Dr. Jeremy Bateman, Dr. Deborah Fox and our team, orthodontics is more than moving teeth. For us, its about serving our community, helping individuals achieve their best smiles and, in the process, building lifetimes of friendships!
Dr. Bateman understands that our adult patients have unique concerns about their appearance during treatment. He offers clear braces, using translucent brackets, as well as Invisalign and in-house clear aligners. The aligners are comfortable, highly-effective, removable, and transparent: no-one will notice youre wearing them!

Dr. Bateman is a wonderful orthodontist. He is kind, caring, listens well to his patients, makes you feel comfortable, describes the process in a way that is easy to understand, has excellent attention to detail and is just overall a great dr. This is what my son had to say: "Bateman orthodontics is a 5 out of 5 experience. It's superb how kind everyone there is. My Mother is Thankful for how straight forward making an appointment is. it is also very surprising how much care they put into every patient. both my siblings had braces, and they are both very satisfied and happy with how their teeth came out!"

I highly recommend Bateman Orthodontics! The staff is always so kind, they really make my daughter feel welcomed at every visit. They are great at explaining to her the things she needs to do between each visit. They are always accommodating when it comes to scheduling after school appointments. If you are looking for a really great Orthodontist, this is it!!

Everyone here is so friendly ! Im so grateful to have this place as my orthodontist , I have a second home lol I've been with Bateman orthodontics for 4 years & they worked magic on my teeth I have really bad anxiety about hospitals & getting work done on my teeth but everyone here made me feel so comfortable & so much better about it Everyone here is so nice ! Bateman & everyone made improving my smile fun & worth the wait My progress is insane , my teeth before braces compared to now is so much better Now I feel confident in my smile & My speech has gotten way better now that my teeth are better & when I took my braces off to celebrate taking them off I had received a gift ! Im definitely bringing my daughter when she is of age , I know here she will be well taken care of !

Everyone is very nice at Bateman orthodontics. They take very good care of your teeth. I would recommend them. My teeth are looking straighter already and I can't wait to see them when their finished.

Dr Bateman and his assistants have been so incredibly helpful and informative during my orthodontic treatment. Each time I go for an appointment, they always perfectly outline what the next steps should be and what I need to do to help myself along the treatment process. If anyone is looking for a top of the order orthodontist I would recommend Dr Bateman.

My experience here has been just great, everyone one here is so nice. Whenever i'm getting my bands changed they are so gentle and careful with me. It's very quick and easy, it never takes long. When I first got my braces on they were super nice about everything and supportive. The staff are super nice here, they never have an attitude or they are never mean. I even got a cool free shirt when I first started going here!!. I love how they always ask if I have any questions before I leave. This place is super friendly and I totally recommend going here!
