Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.
An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I started going here when they first opened but now it's horrible customer service. If they answer the phone then maybe they can get you in this month. The office has outgrown the space and long time customers are pushed out.

I can't say enough good things about Bastrop Modern Dentistry, and Dr. Ravikumar. Everyone on the staff are knowledgeable and caring, and they make every visit - routine visits and dental emergencies - a pleasant experience.

I am a big baby when it comes to the dentist. I have ignored (really avoided) dental care for a long time, which has inevitably caused problems. I was super impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of all of the staff and Dr. Ravi. They continuously reassured me throughout my appointments that I was handling things well. They listened to my concerns and priorities and never tried to pressure me into unnecessary high cost procedures.

I received several phone calls requesting that I fill out pre-visit paperwork, which had been done and alerted me to slight disorganization in the front office. Multiple X-rays were taken, measurements on my gums, much more detailed services than I've ever experienced at my dentist of 20 yrs in Dallas. Then I was left waiting in the freezing cold exam room for 20 min before I finally went to the front desk to see if they had forgotten about me. They apologized for the long wait explaining they were working with a new system...please train and work out your issues on your own time, not mine! When the hygienist finally came in 45 min later, she began cleaning my teeth with ultrasound tool that sent electric shocks thru my teeth, very painful. My teeth have always been easy to clean, never a problem as I go faithfully every 6 months for cleanings. I had to get up and leave without getting a cleaning. Fortunately there was no Charge. The dentist seemed nice but only saw him for about 5 min of my 2 hour ordeal. Never had an issue in my life at any dental office but this was the worst experience I've ever had. Would not recommend this office to anyone

I've been a dental assistant for years, currently work in oral surgery and this clinic does NOT have the patients' best interest at heart. My father, who is in his 60s, has severe dental anxiety due to past trauma. This clinic was completely unwilling to accommodate his need for anesthetic and his request for nitrous. This is unacceptable and frankly sad, as I doubt this office in Bastrop is too busy to accommodate such a minor request. Your job as a practicing doctor is to do your best to ensure patient comfort, care and perform quality work- none of which are achieved at this office. MONEY ORIENTED

I had a wonderful experience at this office. The office manager Ashley guided me through a great treatment plan. Dr. R and his assistant were so caring and gentle. The hygienist was also experienced and has a great chair side manner. I would highly recommend this office to anyone needing dental care.

When I first started going here, it was fine but over the years, their professionalism has really fell off. I was disappointed the last time I paid all this money to have my wisdom teeth removed and was told my cavities would be filled. Yeah that didn't happen. Quality and professionalism seems to go out the window when money is involved and for that, I moved my business elsewhere. I really appreciated Ashley in the front but the other front desk receptionist was unprofessional and came off a little rude. I refuse to have friends and family discredit me since I'm the one referring them to this place. I prefer if you go elsewhere.

A load of crock! This place is a trash bag!! I've called to get an appt many times but was always told some other BS. I don't have dental insurance because I'd rather pay out of pocket. I've heard of many bad experiences from other people and wasn't sure if I would try to go or not. But maybe I was saved because I couldn't get in and that's all fine with me. Spring Street dental is where I go so try it out!

I had a root canal roughly a year ago. I still felt pain after the procedure when I was waiting for my first crown. They pressured me to sign their document when the nurse told me "it's only to say you got the treatment." I complained of pain multiple times for months and the dentist told me "there is no way you have any pain" multiple times, word for word. Leaving me to suffer. Over the course of this year my crown he put on broke in half three times. I called other Dentists, but honestly, I felt they did it and would want to fix it. I gave them the opportunity; this last time was strike three. My most recent visit a few days back, I complained again without the Dr. there to the nurse. She took me and gave me an x ray. The dentist came in and told me they have to do it again. They are going to go in twice this time. The nurse looked at me after he left and asked me why I had not said anything before. My draw dropped! I said look at our appointment history and see how many times I came in complaining. She did not say another word after that. They then called me to schedule, me in my panic, said how quickly can you get it done. The receptionist could not do anything within 2-3 weeks! They are leaving me like this for 2-3 weeks. I am in pain. Nothing to help me, nothing to move the process faster. I even said I would drive anywhere. After I asked how much it would be, they told me 600 dollars. They were giving me a "250" dollar discount for botching the procedure. Well, I am not going to do it with them. I am going somewhere else. I feel sad for anyone going to them for anything but a cleaning. This is 100% the dentist fault and has nothing to do with the great nurses at the facility.

The staff was so welcoming and went out of their way to get you checked in. They also offer so many financial plans to help with any budget. The doctors, hygienists, and assistants were wonderful.

The staff was amazing they were super friendly didn't make us feel uncomfortable and took good care of us and got us seen very quickly! Our assistant Carolina made us feel at ease and was very helpful!

STEER CLEAR!! I went in for a cleaning. My teeth were in pretty good shape but they REFUSED to do my cleaning until I did all the other money making things they wanted to push on me. When I told them my ins expired the following week they rescheduled my husbands. Gave some lame dentist had a family emergency excuse. Im sure they figured since they wouldn't get anything outta him either they would just reschedule so we wouldn't come back. So stupid. They have no idea that if they would have treated me right I might have come back to do what they suggested when I got Ins in another month. Not now. Just another example of how some of these dentist are all abt the money and no longer abt the people.
