Dr. Michael Bass is originally from Edenton, NC. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Brigham Young University in Utah. He then received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill. Dr. Bass enjoys water sports, snow skiing, working on home projects with his wife, Sherrie, and spending time with their 4 children, dog, cat, and chickens.
Dr. Bass is passionate about staying up to date on the latest technologies and procedures in dentistry. He consistently exceeds the recommended annual requirement for continuing education and attends courses regularly at institutions such as the Dawson Center, the Pankey Institute, Academy of R.V. Tucker Study Clubs, The Scottsdale Center for Dentistry, The Engle Institute, as well as local study clubs.
He received the Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry in 2007. Dr. Michael Bass is also active in the Academy of General Dentistry, NorthCarolina Dental Society, Wake County Dental Society, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and volunteers his services at local charities.
After high school, Dr. Watson studied at Brigham Young University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in history with a minor in chemistry. He then received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He served as a Captain in the United States Air Force as a military officer and dentist for eight years. While in the Air Force, he completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency.
Dr. Watson is proficient in a myriad of dental procedures including dental fillings, crowns, cosmetic dentistry, root canal treatment, extractions, wisdom teeth removal, Invisalign, and pediatric dentistry. For patients that need extra help to ease their dental anxieties, Dr. Watson offers three different types of safe anti-anxiety services: nitrous oxide, oral sedation, and IV conscious sedation.
Dr. Watson has been married to his college sweetheart, Lyana, for 16 years, and together they have three overtly-talented children. When he is not treating patients, you will most likely find Dr. Watson at any number of his childrens activities such as rowing, tennis, theater, soccer, choir, or band.
Diane has been working with Dr. Bass since 2002. She enjoys the atmosphere of the office and working with our dental team. She likes to make the patients feel like part of our family. Originally from New York, Diane enjoys spending time with her three kids.
Odett lives in Fuquay-Varina with her husband and three boys. She has been working in the dental field for over 15 years and absolutely loves helping patients in any way she can! She enjoys cooking with her kids, going to concerts with her husband and hanging out with her family.
Cary has been a dental assistant since 2009. She is originally from upstate New York and currently resides in Willow Spring with her husband, two amazing boys and two dogs. She loves all things Disney and tries to get there as much as possible. She also enjoys challenging herself with road races and has a goal to do one in Disney someday.
Gisoo has been a dental assistant for over twenty years and enjoys her job helping people to have a healthy mouth and the beautiful smile they always dreamed of. She moved to the U.S in March of 1999 with her husband and son. Gisoo lives in Morrisville and enjoys being active, playing tennis, biking and hiking. She is looking forward to meeting you all.
Rachel started working with Dr. Bass in 2010. She grew up in Cary and graduated from NC State University. She is a huge Wolfpack fan. Rachel met her husband at NC State and they live in Apex. She enjoys meeting new people and traveling when she has the time.
Marilyn is a native of North Carolina. She enjoys patients of all ages and strives to make each one feel they are part of our dental family. Marilyn has three children. She enjoys scuba diving, traveling, camping, and spending time on any beach with her family.

Our dental practice knows that not everyone has top notch dental insurance. Thats why we strive to make our prices reasonable, with a variety of financing options. We are one of the few dental practices in the Apex area that provide financing options for clients with no dental insurance. We do this because we are aware that some employers no longer offer dental insurance. If you do have dental insurance, we will see what options are available.
