Dr. Russo earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1998. He first graduated from Johnson & Wales University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management, thinking of becoming a gourment chef. While volunteering at the New England Medical Center helping patients with head and neck cancer, he decided that his true calling was dentistry at which time he decided to go back to school. He enrolled at Northeastern University to complete the coursework necessary to enter into dental school.
As a general dentist, Dr. Russo is trained to provide a full range of oral care services and treats people of all ages. Dr. Russos focus on lifelong learning allows him to master the latest advancements in both aesthetic and restorative dentistry. He keeps up-to-date with new developments in dentistry by his continuing education coursework. His easy going personality delivers the benefits of state of the art dentistry to his patients in the most relaxing manner possible. Dr. Russo is a member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society and the Cape Cod District Association.
Dr. Russo is originally from Rhode Island but has lived and worked on Cape Cod close to fifteen years. He is an accomplished artist, painting landscapes in acrylics. When not in the office Dr. Russo also enjoys cooking, traveling and long walks on the beautiful beaches of Cape Cod.

Bass River Dental were fantastic! They got my husband and me in for appointments really quickly to accommodate our insurance expiration. They did a great job with my fillings and cleaning. Dr Russo even took care of a second filling that wasn't scheduled. The staff were all very friendly. I would highly recommend this dental practice.

I have been to a few dentists and didn't like any of them. I failed to take care of my teeth and gums because of the pure anxiety. When I finally had to fix my teeth I went to Aspen Dental and they were nice but very expensive. So I went to Dr Russo. He was so patient. Calmed my nerves. And my teeth look so amazing. His assistant Melissa is so helpful in anything I need whether Dr Russo is there or not. I actually look forward going to the dentist now. Thank you all so much!!!

Nice and welcoming office from the front desk to the dental hygienist, to the dentist Dr. Russo and his assistant. Dr. Russo is a gentle dentist, calm and patient, willing to answer questions and explain the procedures. Time seems to fly by, in and out before you know it! Would highly recommend Dr. Russo and his team at Bass River!!!
