Dr. Jared Flitton was raised in Layton and attended Weber State University for his undergraduate education, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology. He then went on to study at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry where he graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Medicine.

Since graduating from dental school Dr. Flitton has strived to remain at the forefront of dental technology. He has attended countless courses to expand the treatment he is able to provide for his patients. His extra training includes dental treatments such as, same day crowns, cosmetic smile makeovers, replacing teeth with implants, and implant dentures.

He truly loves being a dentist and takes great pride in providing his patients with an honest opinion and gentle treatment with great attention to detail. He believes that your dental visit should be as comfortable and relaxed as possible.

Aside from Dentistry, Dr. Flitton loves spending time with his wife, Becky, and three sons, Connor, Jackson, and Basin. Together they enjoy camping, water skiing, golfing, and if there is snow on the ground there is a good chance you will find them searching for fresh powder up at Snowbasin.

Dr. David Garmire was born and raised in Roy, and is an Alumni of Roy High School. He participated on both the soccer and basketball teams during his high school years. He spent 2 years serving the people of southern California for his church. He attended University of Nevada Las Vegas, and received a Bachelor of Biological Sciences, and a Doctorate of Medical Dentistry. He was active in the Veterans clinic in Las Vegas, offering dental treatment to those in need.

Dr. Garmire practiced dentistry in Denver Colorado after graduating, and has been practicing in his home town he grew up in since January 2020. Dr. Garmire has a busy family life with his wife, Leah, two daughters and two sons. His kids are active with basketball, soccer and cheer. As a family they enjoy hiking, camping, and love living in Utah to be close to the mountains so they can go snowboarding. When Dr. Garmire is not spending time with his family, he enjoys the challenge of golf and running.

Dr. Garmire enjoys being a dentist and helping patients feel confident with their oral health. He takes pride in making your visit to the dentist as comfortable as possible, and is excited to meet you.

Staci has been in our office since 2000 and has over 25 years of experience in the dental field. She graduated from Weber State Universitys Department of Dental Hygiene in 1996. Staci loves getting to know people and loves the relationships that she has created with our patients through the years. She looks forward to seeing each patient when they come in and enjoys meeting new people. She and her husband have four children. They enjoy skiing, swimming, and traveling together.

Karen graduated from Weber State and has been in our practice since 2002. She considers herself fortunate to have been on the state Dental Board and active with the state dental hygiene organization. She loves the opportunity of lifelong learning and treating our great patients here at Basin Dental. She has 4 children and loves to quilt and read.

Lisa has worked in our office since 2000 as a dental assistant; recall specialist, and helping our patients at the front desk. She has loved the long lasting relationships with patients and watching their families grow up. She enjoys learning about our patients and helping them understand their treatment plans and insurance benefits. Lisa likes being able to help patients find ways to complete their dental treatment. She loves to travel, bake, and spending time with her husband and 3 children.

Cherie has worked in our office since 2007. She enjoys working at Basin Dental because of the opportunity to get to know all of our great patients and also being around awesome co-workers. Cherie is great to follow through on our patients insurance to make sure they receive all their benefits. Cherie is married to Kent and they have four married children. She loves spending time with her family, especially her cute grandkids, reading, making quilts, and watching RSL and Jazz games.

Heidi has been with us since 2012. She love being a Dental Assistant because she really enjoys helping patients keep a happy and healthy smile. She keeps busy with her husband and 3 little kids, but when she gets free time she enjoys running, and making homemade crafts.

Makenna has been a dental assistant since 2019. She graduated from Altrain Dental Assisting Academy in Arizona. She loves the dental field and helping patients feel confident about their smile. When she is not at work, she enjoys traveling, cooking and most of all spending time with her husband and family.

Christine has been in dentistry for 12 years; 8 years as an assistant and 4 years as a hygienist. She studied her Bachelors Degree at Weber State University, where she graduated Cum Laude, from their Dental Hygiene Program in 2017. One of her main goals, in the dental field, is to calm the anxiety of those who fear dentistry. If she can make her patients feels safe and have them leave with a smile, then she has succeeded as a dental hygienist. She has 3 beautiful kids and a husband she adores. She collects old vintage books, loves theater, sushi, working in the yard, family game nights, and reading. She feels very blessed to be apart of the Basin Dental team and working along side such amazing providers

Natascha has been a dental assistant since 2003 and has enjoyed every minute of it. She now has decided to work in the front office. Natascha loves to educate patients about the importance of oral hygiene and various procedures. When Natascha is not working she enjoys playing with her two little kids and spending quality family time together.

Kristin has been a dental assistant since 2015. She enjoys getting to know all of our great patients and takes pride in being attentive and making sure patients feel comfortable during their visit. Kristin keeps busy outside the office with her husband, 4 children, 4 step children, and dog. She loves camping, traveling, riding rollercoasters, and binging the newest series on Netflix.

Laura graduated as a Dental Hygienist from Weber State University in 2017. She lives in Pleasant View with her husband and three children. She has had the opportunity to be an Instructor for the WSU DH program, working with students on rotation at the VA in SLC. Laura is also a Veteran of the U.S. Army, having served on active duty for five years. Laura enjoys travelling, wakeboarding, going to the gym, hiking, and crocheting.
