Do you look forward to your six month dentist visit so much that you have it marked on your calendar with a smiley face? If you answered yes to this question, it's a pretty good guess that Kathy is the dental hygienist for you.

Kathy grew up in Northern Wisconsin swimming in Lake Superior in the summers. She moved to Washington in her early twenties. She has three adult children and a sixteen year old son. She enjoys a variety of adventures throughout the year including snow skiing, water sports such as kayaking, and water skiing. She is a bicyclist and occasionally rides to and from work. She likes spontaneous travel and is working on her bucket list.

Kathy has been a licensed dental hygienist in Washington State for seventeen years. She has worked with Dr. Barton and his warm friendly staff for the past ten years. Together we work to remove the common perception that going to the dentistry is 'scary' or 'painful.' She has excellent people and communication skills and enjoys interacting with her patients on a regular basis as we work together to prevent serious dental health issues and diseases.

Dianna was born and raised in Othello, WA and graduated from Othello High School in 1990. She married her husband, Isaias, in November 1990 and they have 2 kids. She attended Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake, WA and received her Associates of Applied Science Degree in 1994. She began working in the dental field 18 years ago with Othello Dental Clinic, in June of 1994 through August 1997. Due to her husband's job transfer they moved to Pasco, WA in January of 1997. She joined Dr. Barton's dental team in October of 1997. She has had the pleasure of working in administration for the past 15 years and is so looking forward to becoming a grandma in July 2012.

Amy relocated to the Tri-Cities from the small town of Burns, Oregon. She became certified through the Dental Assisting National Boards in 1998. Since 2004 she had had the pleasure of working with Dr. Barton, his staff and all of the amazing patients that come through the door. When Amy isnt doing dentistry, she loves anything outdoors and long weekends at the cabin with her family.

My husband was seen and treated by Dr Barton today and has nothing but praise for his caring, compassionate manner. We appreciate the kindness of the staff and the ability to be seen for a painful tooth so quickly.

This is my dentist and staff. They take great care of me. I even had some cosmetic work done on my old capped two front teeth. If I must say so myself, I look a lot better now. Kathy is a great hygienist ! John

I have been a long time patient and happy with my care and treatment to this point. However, today I went for my appointment and not only were they not enforcing the mask policy, but there were no obvious COVID prevention practices (temp checks, not allowing patients in the waiting area, etc., as compared to what I have experienced with my kids at their dentist and orthodontist). The dental office is one of the highest risk environments and so this lack of public health care for patients is concerning. Sadly, we are now finding a new dentist.

This is the worst dentist office I have been to. I have delta care so I believe I went to dr. Blair. Me and three other people in my family scheduled appointments and all three of us had awful experiences. I had not gone to the dentist in a while and like to eat sweets so when I got checked up I had 8 cavities to fill and a cleaning. When I went in I for my appointment at 3 they cleaned my teeth and then told me they were busy and to come back at 6 for the rest. I was fine with it but thought it was a bit unprofessional to schedule appointments that you cannot do at the scheduled time. When I came back I was to have four cavities filled (two on top molars two on bottom molars both on the right side). After about 12 numbing shots and me still not being numb they gave me one last one and told me if I still wasn't numb they couldn't do anything for me and to come back another day, so I dealt with it because there's no way I'm leaving with no work done after 13 shots. For about five months after this dental work, I could not eat on the right side of my mouth due to pain and sensitivity where the fillings were done. I did nOt want to go back to this dentist so I ended up going to another dentist office in Kennewick. During my check up there, they informed me that two of my fillings I had done were not secured to my tooth and that the filling material used was not usually a good mix with the filling material I had gotten as a child and is probably another reason that the fillings failed. I had to pay for more dental work to be done to fix the work that I had at Barton and Blair (which cost me around $220 for failed fillings), and only paid $15 at the new dentist. Now, about 9 months after going to Barton and Blair I get a bill in the mail for $15 saying that I have not paid this bill for over 90 days. Nobody in my family knows what this bill could be for and it's just very frustrating. Very unprofessional and do not waste your time or money because you might end up having to go somewhere else anyway to get it redone when it fails. I do not recommend. With all of that being said, the staff that I had encounters with were all very nice and polite but that doesn't quite make up for the money lost and the pain I went through by going through them.

I went into the office a few weeks ago to make an appointment. The receptionist (dark haired Hispanic woman) told me that Dr. Barton didn't take my insurance (delta care). I thought it was odd because I had seen on the website that the address for the office was listed as a Delta care provider. I called Delta Care to confirm and they told me that Dr.Blair who's in office with Dr.Barton was the Delta Care provider. Today I called the office to schedule an appointment with Dr.Blair and they told me I would have to call back to talk to Dr.Blairs receptionist in order to make an appointment. The woman didn't tell me when I came in that Dr.Blair who's also in the same office took Delta Care. She was not helpful in any way and wasn't interested in helping me since I was there to see Drblair

Great dentist. I just moved into the area and didnt know where to go so I got referred to this dentist by a family member and this facility is fantastic. Such a beautiful building and very clean. I always get anxious going to the dentist and I feel like dentists judge me based on bad hygiene habits when I was a kid. I felt so comfortable and I am looking forward to more visits in the future.

Great staff and very nice relaxing views from the dental chairs. The office is nice and the background music is helpful in relaxing.

I'll give one star because they actually were nice on the phone and rescheduled a new appointment that we missed. The lady up front ask my husband for his dental records (which he didn't have because they said we ONLY need ID and insurance card.) So he comes home all in a hurry and gets the papers and goes back up there... he's told "sorry were going to cancel your appointment today". It only took him a few minutes to get his papers and come back. he replies but I was early to my appointment? This whole situation is so crazy it blows my mind... they reschedule him a month out????? The whole point we had to get him in so early is because he's in so much pain on one side of his mouth??? The lady seemed so nice on the phone at first like yes we need to get him in right away. I think the lady I talk to on the phone and the lady he talked to are different people. He can't wait another month! So rude.
