Iwas born in Detroit, raised in Orchard Lake, and attended Brother Rice High School where I was a member of the 1980 state championship football team. I then attended the University of Michigan earning a B.S. degree in biology. After undergraduate studies, I continued my education at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, graduating in 1989. I worked as an associate dentist for 4 years before starting my practice in Plymouth in 1993. We moved to our new, larger office in 2006. I am a member of the American Dental Association and the Michigan Dental Association.
I have three children: Tom, Kristen, and Val. I enjoy running, mountain biking, basketball, skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, boating, and golf. I have run 10 marathons including New York City and Chicago. I have also been involved with the Cystic Fibrosis and Make-A-Wish Foundations.
Meeting the needs and expectations of our patients is a team effort, and we believe our team includes some of the most qualified and compassionate professionals in the area. We all have many years of experience in dentistry, and attend frequent continuing education classes to make sure we maintain the most up to date care available.
Lynne has managed our front desk since 1999. Her warm personality and knowledge of scheduling, computers, and insurance makes her invaluable. Lori became a welcomed addition to our busy front desk Fall, 2018. Our dental assistants, Holly and Emily, keep things running smoothly in the back. Holly joined us in 2007. She quickly developed the adaptability to assist the doctor or work at the front desk. Emily will be attending dental school starting 2020.
We have five hygienists - Cecily, Audrey, Cindy, Monica, and Shelly - all are very committed to their roles in maintaining our patients' dental health. Cecily joined the practice in 2006. She loves to travel. Audrey joined the practice in 2010. Her daughter is currently a captain on the Ohio State Women's soccer team and a previous national team member. Cindy joined the practice in 2016. She is busy with her children. Monica and Shelly have been valuable additions to the practice since the spring of 2019.
