Worst experience ever, she was very rough and rude the entire time. I was getting cavity's filled. These cavity's did not hurt before going now I am in pain.

I do not recommend for children. She was very rough with my 4 year old, who was obviously very scared. She seems as if she doesn't have much patience for kids. Was not very friendly.

I would LOVE to give this no stars for the treatment my husband had to go through for just a cleaning! She not only belittled him, but during getting his teeth cleaned she caused his gums to bruise and bleed even still after the appointment. I warn anyone who is thinking of seeing her to NOT unless you want to be treated like a child and put through trauma. Also I find it bad when the nurse tells him to take aspirin as soon as he gets home as if she knows how rough the dentist could get.

Today I was suppose to get my teeth cleaned. However I was denied because I had my 5yr old son with me. I thought this was a family dentistry but was saddened when I was refused for having my child, what are single parents to do. Also I hated the fact I was told it is due covid and they couldn't risk it...I am sorry but other places make accommodations.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! Waited two months for my son's appointment, during which he contracted COVID. When I called to inform them of this, we were able to get him an appointment OUTSIDE of his quarantine period, but when we showed, it was a different story. The "dentist" decided she would not see my son due to his previous COVID diagnoses, EVEN THOUGH this was all discussed PRIOR to his appointment and we were told we were good to go. If they are going to interpret the CDC regulations wildly different from everyone else in the area, they should at least have the courtesy to contact the patient prior to them sitting in the office, filling out paper work. Then we were told that they would not be able to schedule him again until the very end of March; no thanks.

BEWARE. I have never in my life wrote a review like this but feel I need to warn whoever may be considering DR. BARTH. After going to Dr. Barth, I have had 3 doctors look at x rays showing the damage she did to my teeth. She left reminisce of filling which caused so much infection I was no longer able to get numb. She told me I should be numb and that I was wrong while she tried to dig it out for 10 minutes which led to me crying for hours after. I was not numb. I had another top doctor that I paid out of pocket a lot of money to help fix it tell me that there was so much infection from what she did when she was trying to get all the spilled filling out that's why the medicine couldn't get through it to actually numb me. I spent $5,000 plus fixing the damage she caused and she proceeded to blame me. Couldn't of been more unprofessional, and never took responsibility for what she did to me. I will not even comment to much on the fact that all the dentists that have reviewed my x rays since show no need for the procedure she did in the first place and the amount of damage she caused when she was finished unprecedented and cost me thousands along with excruciating pain. I've now had to have 2 complete root canals on both of the teeth she did this to and it's not acceptable. I would strongly suggest finding another doctor at all cost.

I have had bad past experiences with many dentists. I had called Dr. Barth and scheduled an appointment. I told the little lady whom scheduled my appointment that I was terrified of dentist,and please let Charity know this in advance. Well.i went into my appointment,and the nurses were absolutely amazing,and assured me that I would be in great hands. Had my ex-rays taken,and then joined the nurse in the room. I was scared to death(with having a bad experience with other dentists),and was just about to grab my items and leave,but I stayed. Dr.Barth came into the room,and introduced herself. I was at this point ready to tell her can I please reschedule my appointment,because I was scared,but I stayed. Dr.Barth then said well,Mrs.Carlton looks like you have some glue on your teeth from where you had braces(only because I was scared to go back to the orthodontist and removed my brackets myself),I do NOT recommend anyone to do what I had done only because it hurts,and leaves nasty glue on your teeth. She then removed all the glue from my teeth after numbing me. I was then thinking wow this woman takes pride in her patients.and makes sure that you are good and numb before doing any dental work. I then had to come back to have some of my teeth worked on,and once again the nursing staff were amazing as well as my dentist Dr.Barth. I would really recommend Dr. Charity Barth to anyone whom has had a bad experience(as myself) or scared to even go to a dentist. She takes pride in her work/patients gives her all,and makes sure you are comfortable,and numb before she even touches you. I am so very thankful that my son recommended me to her best move I've made in the 50 years I've been here.. She helped me as far as not being terrified of dentists period. She also talked to me the whole time asking me if I was okay,and how I was doing. So that being said if you are scared of dentists. If you give her a try I would guarantee you that you would be as happy as I am with my dentist Charity Barth. Hope everyone had taken the time to read my story,and consider giving her a try. Thank you Mrs.Charity Barth for the amazing dentist you are,and you will be the "ONLY" dentist for myself as well as my son.

Dr. Barth, and ALL of her staff have been so amazing. I've been seeing her since 2015, upon my move here. She is completely transparent with everything she does, answers any questions you have, and just does a good job.

Very unprofessional. It takes months to get an appointment. A few hours before my appointment they call and cancel due to a quarter of an inch of snow. We called the following to get an appointment for that week and they couldn't squeeze me in. It was going to be several more months before they could get me in. I should be able to bill them for canceling without a 24 hour notice. This place is a joke.

I take all 4 of my children here and we love it! My 7 year old has ASD and Dr. Barth is so good with her and explains to her what she is doing as she does it and she constantly gives the kids compliments on how well they are doing.

Wonderful place. All the staff are super welcoming and very comforting for those who are scared of the dentist like me. This is the best experience I've had in a dentist office. I'm really thankful for finding them.

Overall, friendly doctor with nice staff. Although unsatisfied with cavity fillings I recieved there 2 weeks ago after badly brusing on left side of jaw and pain when flossing due to floss getting stuck on my filling. Would not recomend this doctor.

Awesome service! She got me in and out in 30 minutes. She cleaned my teeth of tartar, treated my decay with floride, cleaned my teeth, took x-rays, and wrote me a referral to remove my wisdom teeth. ALL in 30 minutes. All she had to do was look at my teeth to figure out the problem. Unlike my last dentist in Independence, she seemed knowledgeable in her field. Super awesome.
