Dr. Kayne received his D.D.S. from Ohio University College of Dentistry in Columbus, Ohio in 1969. He completed the advanced dental education program in orthodontics and periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia in 1979. Dr. Kayne is one of only a very small number of dentists in the United States who is a specialist in both orthodontics and periodontics. He has extensive training in dental implant therapy and has been placing dental implants since 1989.
Having served his country in the United States Navy, Dr. Kayne practiced general dentistry in Yokosuka, Japan from 1969 to 1971. He also practiced general dentistry in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida from 1971 to 1976. After completing his orthodontic and periodontal program, he taught full-time at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry before starting his specialty practice in Delaware in 1981.

New Patient. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! Helen the Receptionist was extremely rude and very condoncending. I did not have the opportunity to meet with Dr. Kayne however if this is a representation of his office, which is a representation of him as a profession I would go somewhere else where my time will be appreciated.

These folks simply know how to do it. Caring, patient, personal attention. So many practices could learn from them. An amazing experience from start to finish. Dr. Kayne and staff are sincere, genuine and so comforting. The absolute best!

Took my son here. Staff was great. But dr Kane was extremely rude. He refused to answer any of my questions and was very insulting. He also charged me cash up front and told me to get it back from my insurance. Checking with my insurance I was told some chatges were global charges that should not be charged. Go somewhere else for sure.

Barry S. Kayne and staff were wonderful to deal with. The level of talent and care, from every member of the staff, is second-to-none. I had a fairly impactful procedure which raised many concerns on my part. All of my questions were answered in the most professional and well-explained and digestible manner. This gave great comfort in moving forward. Procedure execution was perfect. Post-procedure support is also amazing. I feel like they care about you, your outcome, and continued success with dental matters. This feeling is because, "they do care" and they manage and exceed expectations. I don't throw 5-stars around lightly. This team earned it. Great leader, great team, great experience. I highly recommend Barry S. Kayne, DDS.

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT GO HERE!!!! extremely rude. I arrive for my appt and was stopped in their small lobby before entering the office, which is standard due to covid so temperature can be taken. No problems there. She (the receptionist)comes out and takes my temperature and returns to her desk and sits down to continue doing whatever she was doing as im just standing there looking at her like ok whats next. She turns her back and continue doing what she was doing. I just left. Never even got in the building..... Upon leaving, i call the office as a courtesy to cancel. The receptionist answered so rudely and i told her i just want to cancel. She hangs up.

Dr. Kayne and his staff are THE BEST!!!The office is super clean and they have handle COVID so well.I felt very confident that a lot of effort had been made by staff to prepare for the updated protocols for COVID. Dr. Kayne is very compassionate, caring and empathetic.Dr. Kayne is a gifted DDS Periodontist excellent patient skills and very knowledgeable.Dr. Kayne and staff made me feel welcome and very comfortable Thanks to all keep up the good work

I saw Dr. Kayne in regards to a Dental Implant He went into great detail to explain what he could do . I knew right there that I would have him do it. After going to two different Periodontists I realized he was the Best one. Yesterday Dr. Kayne did an extraction of the tooth he was going to replace. He used local anesthetic and from beginning to end there was zero pain or discomfort. Dr. Kayne has many years of experience, has extensive knowledge and is caring. He is the one you want to do this type of work.

I went in to my appointment feeling nervous but Dr. Kanye and his staff went into great detail about my situation and made sure I understood what everything meant and how I was to be treated.They answered all of my questions which definitely put me back at ease. The staff was also so kind! It definitely made going to the dentist a more pleasant experience!

The Doctor was great and his dental assistant did a wonderful job. The staff misled me about his participation with my insurance and told me that it would be covered. If it wasn't going to be covered I would be notified. However much to my dismay I now owe over $800. Do you research because the staff will not adequately do it. I have received several incorrect billing statements and the response I received to my questioning my balance was - we don't use that part of the software, then why would a practice waste time and money sending out incorrect billing statements? Consequently I will not be returning. Since my first visit in January I have yet to receive a correct billing statement.

I've been going to doctors, dentists and specialists for 64 years, I rate Dr Kayne and his excellent staff head and shoulders above all the rest. Dr Kayne sits down next to you and calmly and gently explains your treatment options. I feel like I'm talking with an old friend and not just any patient to be hurried away. All of Dr Kayne's staff are extremely friendly and professional and a pleasure to deal with. I will continue to visit Dr Kayne for advice and services even though he is not on my dental insurance. Dr. Kayne is a pro, you can tell he has YEARS of experience and you feel comfortable and confident that his work is the best. He is gentle, kind and compassionate and shows concern . I must add that the staff live up to his and the patients expectations. Thanks for looking after my teeth
