Barry Jones DDS is a Vista based family dentist practice that treats patients of all ages. We are committed to delivering the highest quality dental care and do so using advanced dental equipment. We are a cosmetic dentist that offers services like checkups, teeth cleaning, crowns, veneers and more.
After graduating from the University of Maryland School Dentistry, Dr. Jones joined the U.S. Army for a rotating internship, followed later by a two-year residency. With his extra training, Dr. Jones is proficient in a full range of dentistry. During his various tours, Dr. Jones managed large dental clinics (28 chairs) and was a lecturer for the Advanced Program in General Dentistry. After retiring from the Army, Dr. Jones opened his private practice in Vista in 1993. Due to his vast experience, he performs a wide range of dental treatments, ranging from aesthetic dentistry to extractions, implants, crown and bridge procedures, dentures, and many others. One can easily see that Dr. Jones truly enjoys his work and his patients.

If you're looking for a great dentist and amazing staff that will make you feel right at home and take care of your every dental needs and give you that smile you've always wanted Dr Barry Jones is a smile artist! And you couldn't ask for a better staff especially with Carol at the front desk

My husband and I were in San Marcos visiting our son and daughter in law, when I began to have an issue with a tooth. We started calling around to many 24 hour dentists, but no one even answered. It was 6:45pm on a Thurday evening and found Dr Barry Jones. The receptionist was very helpful asked if I could make it until tomorrow, I said YES. Then she told me what to do to help with the pain through the night and was able to make an appointment bright and early Friday morning. I believe I was his first patient! Dr Jones took me right away after he examined my teeth he told me my tooth was abscesses. YIKES!! He explained that I needed a root canal done! Mind you I never had that procedure before. Dr Jones informed me of everything he was doing and what was going to happen next. He was very gentle and I had absolutely no pain but I needed to return Saturday to finish the tooth until I could return home to get the crown done. He and his dental assistant were FANTASTIC!! I would recommend Dr Barry Jones to EVERYONE who is looking for a dentist. Thanks from Buffalo NY!!

Over the last 16+ years Dr. Jones and his staff have always been great for our family. From simple cleanings to extensive dentistry, implants, crowns and tooth whitening. Whatever your dental needs Dr Jones has made it a pleasure to visit the dentist.

I have been seeing Doctor Jones since I was a child. My entire family comes to him and all of our children come to him. Dr. Jones and his staff are all amazing and make you feel at home. He always tells me what I need. They do not try to pressure you into anything that is not necessary. I absolutely love them and refer them to anyone and everyone I know. Carol, front desk, I absolutely love her. She is very informative and responsive if you have questions. 22 year customer and I have no complaints.

Dr. Barry is highly skilled. The entire staff is friendly. Everyone involved went out of their way to help me at a moment's notice, they didn't have to. I had no appointment, no referral, they welcomed me into their office within half an hour of me calling. I was in agony before I walked in, free of pain when I left. Please, if you're in pain or anticipation of, get help sooner than later. Dr. Barry and his staff will provide an extraordinary service.

I've been going to Dr. Jones since 1998. The experience I have had over these past 23 years has been consistently amazing. All the staff is friendly and the office is run very efficiently. If your appointment is at 9, you are sitting in the chair at 9! Carol at the front desk greets you like an old friend. I highly recommend Dr. Jones' office. Nancy A.

It's never easy going to the dentist, but Dr. Jones and his staff are so professional, kind, and make you feel so comfortable. Dr. Jones is extremely honest and doesn't try to push for things that aren't necessary. He is very skilled at what he does. I highly recommend anytime you need dental work!

I am here visiting from Oklahoma and ended up with some HORRIBLE tooth pain! I called Dr. Jones and they were able to see me the same day AND resolved my pain! I have NEVER experienced humbleness in this fashion! They were kind, helpful, and compassionate! If I lived here they would 100% be my full time dentist! I would recommend them to anyone!

My family and I have been customers for 20 years.The staff is always friendly, personable, and attentive. As for Dr. Jones, his experience shows by how careful and gentle he is getting the job done right the first time with quality results. I would never consider going anywhere else, ever!

I've been coming to get my teeth cleaned with Dr. Barry Jones for about two years now and I've never been happier with my dental facility. Top service from the front desk to the hygienist and of course with the dentist himself. I would definitely recommend this facility to anybody considering a new dentist or first time dentist.

My wife and I have been to Dr. Jones' office for over 20 years and have the utmost respect for his professionalism and attention to detail. His staff is always friendly and helpful when it comes to scheduling and maintaining our dental health. I love that they are proactive and concentrate on prevention. Now that we have children we have been taking them to Dr. Jones and they love it. Twice in twenty years have I called Dr. Jones for emergencies and he has come through for me, the first time for a bad tooth ache and the second time for a chipped molar. He has made recommendations such as using a guard that have made a difference for my dental health. I have referred friends and coworkers since I think the quality of service is of extreme value and they agree. I am very impressed that every time we visit for a cleaning how they treat us like VIPs.

For someone who has crazy anxiety about going to the dentist, Dr. Jones and his team are so wonderful! I felt so at ease and comforted during my visit. They were really gentle and talked me through what they were doing. Goldie is awesome as well!! Highly recommend
