Although born in New Jersey, Doctor Slipock has lived in Southern California since 1946. As a youngster in San Diego County, he lived in Kensington on Hempstead Circle. He has fond memories of picking blackberries in his backyard and looking down into Mission Valley at the green produce fields and dairy farms.

In 1968--midway through dental school in San Francisco-- he married Star Marco, who had just graduated from UCLA. She then worked as an elementary school teacher in San Bruno while he finished dental school. After moving to Chula Vista, Star worked for the San Ysidro School District before having daughters Samantha and Love.

The girls both graduated from Princeton University. Samantha received her J.D. degree from UCLA School of Law and now lives in Los Angeles with her husband Patrick Goodman, their highly advanced sons Benjamin and Max Goodman, and always hungry dog Sandie. Samantha works as in house counsel for Korn Ferry and Patrick is a professor at UCLA School of Law. Love lives in San Diego with her husband Matthew Zubiller who works for Smile Brands. They have two extraordinary children: their son, Texas and daughter, India with two precocious cats Poppy and Gingersnap, and their playful dog Vanilla Bean.

Grace has practiced dental hygiene in our office since 1983. Born in Glendale, California, Grace graduated Morse High School and attended Southwestern College. She received her AS from Mesa College in 1978, the same year she received Board certification as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Married to Gregg Hansen in 1990, Grace lives in Bonita with one cat, twenty chickens, and four dogs who live for their nightly tooth-brushing. When not attending to her patients, she enjoys sail-boarding, snowboarding, scuba diving, gardening in our glorious San Diego County climate, and traveling.

Jamie was born in Brooklyn, NY, and grew up on Long Island. She received her college degree and Dental Hygiene training at Onandaga College , near Syracuse, NY. After moving to California in 1991, she married Nick Streeper. They and their dog reside in Clairemont, San Diego. When not doing deep scaling and polishing, Jamie enjoys boating, exercising, and dining out.

Jessi hails from Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii and grew up in Escondido, CA. She received her Dental Assisting Certificate from GHOC in 2011. She and her husband Chad Conner live in Eastlake with daughters Tristen and Abigail, son Tyler, and one dog. When not handling insurance matters in the office, Jessi loves to attend sporting events,travel, do crafts, and shop.

Zorayda comes from Bataan in the Phillipines where she was born and raised. She moved to the USA and lives with her husband Joseph Andres and son Joshua in Imperial Beach. Son Jonah and daughter-in-law Melissa live in Connecticut. Zorayda is a high-energy person who loves to cook, exercise, walk, and shop.

Maria lives in Imperial Beach with her husband Sergio Saldana and sons Robert and Jeanpierre. She was born in Mexicali and grew up in the USA. When not doing customer service in the office, she enjoys shopping, cooking, and travel.
