I have been married since 1982 to my wonderful husband, Chris. We have two fabulous children, Ashley & Chase, a daughter in-law, Nicole, a son-in-law Sage, and four amazing grandchildren, Alexis, Ceriya, Kendra and Remington. We love camping, hunting, Sunday dinners and playing games as a family. We enjoy the quality time we share with our family on our small sheep farm in Genola.

We had a great time taking our children to stock shows throughout the state and now get to take our grandchildren. I love the work I do as office manager for Dr. Barrowes. It is very rewarding. I feel privileged to work for such an amazing orthodontist who loves his profession, helping people achieve great smiles. Hi, this is Chris Remund. I am from the Sunshine State of Florida. I have enjoyed working with Dr. Barrowes for many years. I am the Treatment Coordinator and the Insurance Specialist. I love my job. I enjoy the day to day interaction with our patients and their families. We dont just bond brackets at Dr. Barrowes office, we bond relationships as well. It is always a pleasure to see a beautiful smile and take time for a visit when I run into our patients in the community.

I am married to my husband Kirt and we have 4 children; Kelvin, Rachelle, Kolton, Kayden, our daughter-in-law Ally, our son-in-law Trevor and our adorable 5 grandchildren. I enjoy playing sports. Basketball and Volleyball are my favorite. I have spent countless hours watching my children play Ice Hockey, Basketball, Baseball, Volleyball, Fast Pitch Softball, Soccer, Golfyou get the point. I love the outdoors, camping, photography, playing board games with my family, and enjoy spending time with my grandchildren.

I was blessed with the opportunity to start working for Dr. Barrowes in 2004, and have loved coming to work ever since. I enjoy bending wires, problem solving, and meeting and learning about patients and their parents. My favorite part about being an orthodontic assistant is seeing people gain confidence with their new smiles.

In my spare time I love camping, fishing, snowboarding, and spending time with my five wild and crazy boys. Family is so important to me, and I am so thankful to work for such an honest, amazing orthodontist who shares the same values.

My name is Amy Schellhous and I am one of the assistants who work in the back office. I have worked for Dr. Barrowes since 2003 and in the orthodontic field for 18 years. I have enjoyed my time as part of Dr. Barrowes team and take pleasure in working with people who all get along with each other. I met my wonderful husband on a blind date. My family is very important to me. I have one daughter and five sons. My daughter is the oldest child. With such a large family I do not have much free time, but with what little time I have I enjoy reading, spending time working in my yard, and visiting family.

I grew up in Provo with a house full of brothers, that made it easy to be daddys girl. I had no idea I would end up in the country(Spanish Fork) as I called it, but we have found it to be a great place to raise our family despite all the wind. I met my husband while going to school at what was called UVSC at the time. We have been married since 1997 and have three great kids!

As a family we enjoy road trips, swimming, watching movies and fishing on Utah Lake. In the winter we enjoy ice fishing, but I refuse to go when its too cold! We also enjoy spending time with our extended family.

My first experience with Dr. Barrowes was when I was 8 years old when I began my orthodontic treatment. Since having braces here at Dr. Barrowes office (along with my 5 brothers and mother) Im very familiar with the appliances we use here at the office and I know how they work from personal experience. When I got my braces off I was amazed at the work Dr. Barrowes had done and I wanted to be a part of helping others have a beautiful smile as well. I went to MATC and got my dental assisting my senior year of high school and interned for Dr. Barrowes that same year. Since graduating high school Ive been working here as an orthodontic assistant and have loved every minute of it! I enjoy getting to know the patients here and even more helping them to a perfect smile! When Im not at work I live for snowboarding and also enjoy other outdoor activities!

Smiles are amazing, and that is why I wanted to be an orthodontic assistant. Dr. Barrowes gave me that privilege in 2009. Since then I have found that I enjoy working on patients, yet trimming pre and post-treatment plaster models and running the lab are my specialties. Trimming pre-treatment models helps me remember everyones name and I get to see everyones different orthodontic cases. Trimming the post-treatment models gives me the opportunity to see all of the wonderful smiles done by Dr. Barrowes. I married my husband Josh in January 2011 and we love watching movies and spending time outdoors. My hobbies are camping, snowmobiling, fishing, playing sports, and hunting. You can talk to me anytime about hunting on any day of the week. Im an easy going kind of gal and Ill go hunting any chance I get!

As an Orthodontic Assistant at Dr. Barrowes office, I love being a part of helping people get the smile theyve always wanted. I started working for Dr. Barrowes May of 2013 and have loved every second of it! My favorite part of the day is when a patient gets to go home with a new smile. I also love getting to know all of the patients on a personal level. Many new friendships come from my job and I love it!

I am the oldest of three children. I have one sister and one brother. In my spare time youll find me doing basically anything in the mountains. The mountains are my favorite place to be! I love to go hunting, fishing, camping, riding four wheelers, and downhill mountain bikes. I also love to play softball. I played for the Salem Hills High School softball team and loved every second of it! I love children and getting to know new people. Thats why I love my job so much!

I have worked in the dental field sense 2012, and from working with general dentists, endodontics and now orthodontics I can say now I have found my passion. I enjoy getting to know my patients and always learning something new. I find it fascinating that not two people are the same when it comes to their orthodontic treatment and I love to see the end result! I come from a family of 9, and 6 of us have had the opportunity to be treated by Dr. Barrowes. I married my high school sweetheart Spencer in 2016. He and his 3 other siblings have also been treated by Dr. Barrowes! I served a LDS mission to Paraguay Asuncin and my husband served his mission in the Hawaii Honolulu. We love to camp, hunt, or anything that has to do with the outdoors.

Hello! My name is Rachelle. Im a Lab Tech for Dr. Barrowes. Im the one who works with the patients orthodontic models. I have enjoyed every second working for Dr. Barrowes; he is such a great Orthodontist. I also get to work along with his incredible staff.

I have a family of four. My husband, Trevor, and I have been married for five years. We enjoy our busy lives with our two little girls, Raegan and Remi. We love to spend time with family, play all sorts of games, and be adventurous. Those of you who are new to the office, welcome! I know you will love your orthodontic treatment here.

Dr. Barrowes passed his Orthodontic Boards March 4th, 1989, and was certified as a Diplomate of The American Board of Orthodontics. When an orthodontic resident graduates from an American Dental Association (ADA) accredited Orthodontic Residency Program, he receives a Certificate of Graduation in Orthodontics and is thereby authorized to open an orthodontic practice. Becoming a Board Certified Orthodontist, at the time Dr. Barrowes passed his boards, required going a step beyond orthodontic school; it required a minimum of five more years in orthodontic practice treating patients, before presenting completed orthodontic cases to the Board examiners.
