Doctor Hope Marvin Barros was born in Baguio City, Philippines and graduated from University of the Philippines - Manila in 1979. He continued his education on Aesthetic Dentistry and Root Canal Therapy at UCLA School of Dentistry, Los Angeles CA, Comprehensive Endodontics in USC School of Dentistry, Los Angeles CA, Restorative Dental Implant Placement, Noble Biocare, Yorba Linda, CA, Periodontics at PERIO Institute, Los Angeles CA. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Los Angeles Dental Society. He also regularly attends seminars at the Global Dental Implant Academy and Pacific Implant Academy. In his spare time, he likes to sing, play the saxophone, and do outdoor activities with his family.

First off- Very Clean! Great staff, warm welcome being that it is our first visit. Lobby area is calm and tranquil. My 15 yr old son came for a check up & cleaning. He was well attended to. I am so happy that we found this dentist. We will definitely make Barros Dental our go to dentist office! Thank you Barros Dental staff! 5 star customer service

I love Barros Family dental! They do excellent work! Also, every room has HEPA filtration. The office is so beautifully decorated with up to date equipment.

My entire family, extended family and friends have been coming here for years. The doctors and staff are kind and very caring. Even my kids enjoy coming to the dentist. It's a longer drive for us but worth it.

Dr. Margaret and Dr. Marvin fixed my daughters broken tooth! They were very professional and attached the tooth with little pain. My daughter was so thankful that she was able to keep her tooth. So thankful!! Also had to get an extraction today from Dr. Shawn. It was unbelievably painless and.fast. Bone grafting was also necessary but again not a problem for me. This was my very first extraction and I'm so thankful to have their team as my dentists!!

Dr. Margaret and Dr. Marvin fixed my daughters broken tooth! They were very professional and attached the tooth with little pain. My daughter was so thankful that she was able to keep her tooth. So thankful!! Also had to get an extraction today from Dr. Shawn. It was unbelievably painless and.fast. Bone grafting was also necessary but again not a problem for me. I love that the people here are conversational, it relieved me of the anxiety I had right before my wisdom teeth surgery. At their clinic, right above each reclining chair they have a serene view that is in line of sight when fully reclined (see the picture). The surrounding area is very white, so in addition, it was calming to be be there. So, during the procedure, that was what was looking at! I was only numbed, so I was awake and aware the entire procedure. When I rose my hand a couple times to signal them I was in pain, the dentist gave an extra shot to numb for each one and did it as needed. It was an option to take out all 4 wisdom teeth but upon Mrs. Barros suggestion, I just got out 3 instead so I could eat normally (but carefully) on one side. I'm surprised how fast they took them out and she even stitched it up 4 times instead of 3 to ensure the wound does not open up. I am coming back in couple months to get my last wisdom tooth out here!
