Dr. Charles B Barrett has trained with some of the worlds best cosmetic dentists such as Bill Dorfman of Extreme Makeovers and David Hornbrook of The Hornbrook Group. His dedication to perfecting his work leads him to take many continuing education hours throughout the year.

We dont participate in any insurance plan, but we understand benefits and will gladly file your insurance claim for you. Dr. Charles Barrett Jr (Dr. Charles) Joined the practice to work with his father, Dr. Charles Barrett Sr, in January 2015. Dr. Charlesgraduated from Kentucky Country Day High School in 2001. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Bellarmine University in 2008. He graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2012. Dr. Charles has been in private practice since his graduation in 2012. He is a member of the Louisville Dental Society, Kentucky Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Crown Council.
After raising her now two adult children, Karen decided to go back to work. A friend suggested she apply at her dentists office, Dr. Charles B. Barrett. She applied and got the job! Karen began her career with Barrett Dental Care On January 23, 2004. It has been a perfect fit for her as the office Mission Statement reflects her life goals.
Karen loves her personal relationships with our patients and looks forward to seeing them when they come into our office. She feels blessed to have this wonderful job. In her spare time, Karen enjoys reading a good novel while relaxing at home on her boat. She also loves spending time with her husband and their grandchildren.
Kim is a native of Louisville. She married her wonderful husband Curtis in 1989 and they have two four-legged furry family members. She attended the University of Louisville and graduated in 1992. She found her dental home in October of 1993 with Dr. Barrett and has been one of his treasured hygienists since then. Kim genuinely enjoys seeing our patients. They have become friends and family over the years.
While moving across the globe with her military husband, she worked in private dental practice, public health, and taught clinical skills at the University of Texas, San Antonio. She and her husband settled in Louisville upon his retirement.
For almost fifteen years she has enjoyed working with Dr. Barrett and his team. She considers educating patients concerning their oral health a top priority in contributing to their overall good health.
Ashley graduated from ATA College in December of 2015 and Joined our office in February 2016. She is expecting her first child in August. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, making art and playing guitar.

We are former clients of Barrett Dental, and agree with the reviewers who have given excellent ratings for Drs. Barrett Sr. and Jr. We likewise agree with those statements having good reviews for at least most of the office staff, as well as agreeing with those who expressed their experiences with the rudeness of the Office Manager, with whom we had a few bad experiences. Some reviewers mentioned not only the nasty conversations, but even at least one case when the OM hung up on the client. We are no longer clients, mainly because we think there have been some mis-understandings between us and the office. Regardless, we feel that the basis of our severed relations started, and perhaps even ended with, exchanges with the office manager. This is a bad reflection overall on Drs. Barrett's practice, in our opinion. Five stars for the doctors and their staff, except Office Manager, and one star for OM.

I have had a lot of insecurities and anxieties in regards to the health of my teeth and the aesthetic of them. Nonetheless, I needed a tooth filling immediately. Dr. Barret's staff scheduled me in a timely fashion and got me in and out. In full confidence, I can say that Dr. Barret has excellent bedside manners. His office is family friendly and accommodated myself and three children. His staff members were pleasant and professional. Donna the front desk is very helpful and, gave me a needed referral for my little girll! I highly recommend this dental practice.

Have been a customer since 1990. Dr. Barrett is an excellent dentist and he is likely the nicest dentist you will ever meet. His son Charles works with his dad and is also an excellent dentist. Kim has been my hygienist for many years and always does great work and is always so friendly and kind. Karen, who runs the office, is so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Barrett's practice. We moved to Colorado in 2018 and still come back to Louisville for our dental work because we trust Dr. Barrett and all of his associates.

Ever since I've been in the care of Dr. Barrett and his team in Louisville Kentucky they have far exceeded my expectations of anything I've ever had they go to any lengths to make sure that you are taken care of no matter what the circumstances I would give them a 10 star rating and their mannerisms and the people there are just outstanding that's why I go there they're the best

BEST dental practice in Louisville! Everything about this place makes you feel safe and at ease. You won't believe how genuine and warm this place is, and the skill of everyone - receptionists, technicians, and dentists - is brilliant. The dentists are the best I've ever experienced. Both Dr. Barrett and Dr. Charles are incredibly skilled. I've been going to them for about ten years, but I wish I'd had dentists like this my whole life. They're like family, and they're experts at what they do.

My experience could not have been better! It started on time with a conference with Dr Burdette discussing my progress and issues. My issues were corrected and my appliance adjusted. The staff was great. Very helpful, warm and friendly. I'm actually looking forward to my next dental appointment?! Today's appointment was perfect. 10/18/19. Exactly on time, listened patiently to my concerns and worked tirelessly until my appliance was perfect. Could not have been better!!
